I stayed here because I was on a trip with Native American Veterinary Services. Overall, I was pleased with the quality and service in such a remote location. Water pressure was good for showering and the beds were comfy. It was nice to have the restaurant there after a long day! They offer breakfast as well. However! The restaurant is closed on Sundays. Finally, the four Cultural Center dogs are very friendly and sweet and are given medical care. Please give them food and water when you visit!

Location Location Location! This is one of the most magical places in the whole world. Located between Navajo land and Hopi land, this hotel carries a very special energy. The restaurant is truly amazing and they do in room dining as well. The blue corn burger is always on point. To go option available and quick service.

Ana was an amazing tour guide in June 2018. I am so blessed to have met her and spend time in the Hopi land and to see their homes and prophecy rock. It was a trip of a lifetime.

I arrived late for my stay. Keep in mind, the front desk closes at 8:30 PM. I was able to contact someone & get my room, but not without getting the feeling that I was inconveniencing the hotel instead of receiving adequate customer service. Call ahead of time to leave a message of your late arrival so arrangements for check-in can be made. Though the building is a little run-down, the rooms are comfortable & clean. Keep in mind, the restaurant opens at 11:00 PM if you're planning on breakfast. I recommend going to Hopi Grounds Coffee down the road for breakfast burritos if you want something sooner to eat.Rooms: Though the building is a little run-down, the rooms are comfortable & clean. They did have a Keurig coffee machine & a refrigerator in the room.

outward appearances can be deceiving... the area around the Hopi Cultural Center is a bit "uninviting" , but the actual hotel is hidden behind the Center... it's fabulous..hotel staff is extremely friendly, rooms are super clean and tidy.. excellent value. Would definitely stay here again..Noteworthy details: very southwestern in appearance with a nice touch of Hopi culture

I was disappointed 😞 If the objective is to try to show the world the highlight of the culture and artwork they’ve got do a better job at that. I read good reviews and when I finally arrived the whole place was very depressing. Maybe I arrived at a bad time.I did NOT stay at the hotel because my trip there was to see what the Cultural Center had. It was not much. Our directions sent us on HWY 191 and there was a long stretch that was dirt roads that had my car rattling and me praying that it wouldn’t break down 😭 — stay on the main roads I guess.

We stayed 4 days. No pool. Rooms are large and very nice. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant was excellent. Our first time trying frybread..yum! The center sits atop the mountain, but is centrally located. During our stay we visited the Painted Desert, Petrified Forest and the Grand Canyon. Highly recommend.

I come to the Hopi Culture Center when I visit family that lives on First Mesa. We like to eat at the restaurant; however, it was closed. When it is open, it's only take out. Understandable due to the pandemic. Only one shop at the center was open. From what I heard, it's due to lack of employment. This hurts my people on the reservation. Seems like a nationwide problem; maybe worldwide.

Glad we could try the famous Hopi taco! Ingredients were fresh! Better than Navajo tacos in the area :) They often dont have running water, so be prepared (which means no access to restroom or free tab water).

The food was good but it took awhile. The kitchen is slow and the service was slow. The employees were very nice. The restaurant was clean and comfortable. I also bought a tee shirt. On the edge of the parking lot artists and craftspeople sold us things. We spent $300 with them. They were friendly, polite and gave us good deals. This was a nice stop.

We parked our RV there and spent the night. No hook ups, but it's free. There are several loose dogs there. They are people friendly, but I wouldnt let my pet loose with them. They are hungry. Take them some food and water. The restaurant is great and the museum is as well. Lots to learn about the Hopi and their way of life. Brilliant beautiful people.

Fantastic food, great little museum and clean rooms. Wonderful little Hopi shops close by. I found the employees very polite and receptive. There are several great ruins fairly close by and you can drive to them with out a guide, we asked one of the ladies about ruins and she gave us a map and marked how to find them. Great experience and definitely worth the drive.

The chicken strips were raw, and when brought to the waitresses attention she saw absolutely nothing wrong with a little raw chicken. When we were finally asked how everything was and told the cashier about the raw chicken that's when action was finally taken. Bringing out a new order of chicken strips in less time than it took the first order didn't instill confidence. Work on those hospitality skills if you want tourism to ever work for you.

Some improvements done within the interior. Not outside though, the parking lot is rough, not smooth enough to use a wheelchair without added assistance. Menu is super basic nothing worth recommending, tried the "hopi hot beef" on a blue corn meal frybread. Nothing spectacular to say about it. Waitress came by a couple times but when ready to leave, nowhere in sight. Be AWARE, the restrooms are CLOSED, only for employees!! A few vendors outside selling trinkets and such. Expect to spend $10- $15 per adult for the food.

We brought a group of 50 people today at lunch. Lunch was prearranged but the wait staff were efficient & had everything served in no time at all. I had the salad with chicken & it was delicious. Everyone was very pleased. We all shopped in the artist stores & many people bought lovely pottery, kachinas & silver.

The hotel rooms are clean but sparsely decorated. Television is delivered by satellite and can be spotty at times. The staff is friendly and attentive. Get your ice at the front desk who will retrieve it from the restaurant. The restaurant offers good variety. The Native dishes featuring fry bread and mutton should not be missed.

Food is very good and there is always something to choose from. Portion sizes are generous. The staff are sweet and helpful. Rooms are simple, clean, and have a great fridge. A wonderful way to get a taste of Hopi.

Love this place. Has some basic items: burger, buffalo wings, etc. The rest is Hopi traditional food. Love the fry bread: it's light and fluffy. The chili could use a bit more meat. I just tried their "Carne Asada" fries 😋😋

We got two dishes. The maize and lamb stew was not to our tastes. The broth tasted way too salty and we were expecting a thicker broth based off the title of stew. However, the Hopi Hot Beef was amazing and came in such a large serving that we split it between 3 people and all left full. The waitress Tiffany was incredibly helpful and kind to us. Everyone was very friendly.
