My 16-yr-old-child (who is on the spectrum and wandered away from his bus stop) came into this store today (3/5/24) and they called the police on him! He thought he was supposed to buy adult diapers for his grandpa, who is now deceased. He once went there with his 'paw-paw' and was having an episode and became confused as to why he was there. So Walgreens, in their touching concern, called the police to arrest him! My question to Scottsdale's finest when they phoned me: "so Walgreens called YOU on him but not only was he NOT stealing but also NOT bothering anyone or destroying any property?" Police-woman to me: 'I guess so".So I'd like to thank the wonderful staff who worked there around 3-4 pm today for thinking the kids of color who come into your store and wander around are there to steal something. (P.S. He had his youth debit card on him that we gave him so was going to make a purchase, that is why he was there.) His disability made it hard for him to focus and choose without his parents there to help him but I do so THANK WALGREENS staff present for being such racial-profiling chicken-craps that my child scared you into phoning the law to help with the no crime in progress. I am sure you were in such peril!!! It is 2024 and you are so deficient and poorly trained in customer service that it never occurred to you to ask him if he needed any help? Just call the cops on a whole kid, right? Now, he is very traumatized cos he does not understand what he did wrong and keeps crying about the police coming to arrest him. Thanks for that. No wonder I prefer CVS. You truly suck and I hope your own kids experience paid adults being too dumb in their own establishment to note YOUR child's distress but instead call the cops on them! You'll enjoy that.

This Walgreens Pharmacy is by far the worst, all employees are rude as hell and when your meds are suppose to be ready, you go to pick it up and they look and talk to you like your a liar. Y’all need new employees and pharmacist. Don’t call just before their lunch break they’ll keep putting you on hold until they go to lunch. Pathetic!

Very disappointed with the pharmacy, I called a couple of time yesterday then went I'm person I was informed the my medication would be ready in 20mins but I needed to go to work then I went this morning to pick it up and it wasn't ready. I wish u guys had better communication and customer service

20 yr client is very disappointed in service. 10 tabs of pain medication hasn't been filled going on 8 days and counting. I find the excuses more and more frustrating.

Very rude cashier. Literally growled at me when my card was having issues working. Issues like this are not anyones fault and sometimes technology doesn’t always work. I ran out to my vehicle that was parked right outside to get another form of payment and he was still extremely rude and trying to make me feel bad for wasting his and “other customers” time even tho only one person was behind for literally only 30 seconds. The entire interaction from start to finish was no more then 2 minutes. I was polite and apologized and thanked him multiple times and he replied that “i should be thankful” im not the type to ask for a manager. horrible experience. Horrible location. Horrible people work here.

I am more than frustrated with this pharmacy. I'm not sure if they have a problem with their fax machine or if someone just doesn't care about the called in prescriptions from providers. I have been told "we have no prescription for you" many times over the years from my birth control to my dogs medication to Urgent Care meds. I guess it happens too far in between that I need to pick up meds that I forget about all the work it tsakes to finally receive the meds. Since knowing this, I have thought to call ahead to make sure my prescription is there. Now the problem is not being able to talk to an actual person because the automated person constantly "doesn't hear you right". I am finally done with this pharmacy and will go elsewhere.

I looked for a diuretic in the aisle where you would find Prilosec and Imodium but could not find a diuretic, so I asked a clerk in the next aisle for assistance, but instead was redirected back to the aisle I had already searched thoroughly through. Frustrated, I went to the pharmacy who redirected me to another aisle and even went with me to where the diuretic actually was located. At the checkout, I reported my frustration with the clerk who failed to assist me properly and my frustration with the experience. I did not receive an apology, but instead my product which I paid for was taken away and I was told I could shop somewhere else. WOW!! I did speak with the manager who kindly apologized and gave me my products. Bad experience and will not return to this store!

Jasmine was no help when I asked about the store credit card. She seemed annoyed that I even came to the check out. Please enforce better customer service. She never smiles anytime I'm in the store.

We’re from Chicago and we must say that this is by far the best Walgreens we’ve ever been to. A big shoutout and thank you to Erica for being so patient with us because our transaction was quite complicated but very entertaining. She was so helpful and so sweet. She made our shopping experience amazing! & to the rest of the staff thank you for being understanding and patient as well! You are all awesome !!!

Pharmacy would not let me pay for store items told to go up front. The help at pharmacy had an attitude,not friendly like my business was a problem. I left thinking about moving my parents and myself to frys across the street,i have a little bit of business there and walgreens is pricing me out as a customer anyway. So i need to do my homework to see if this is solid thinking, and real savings.

I’m not normally one to leave bad reviews but I’ve had many horrible experiences with the pharmacy at this location before. I arrived in the drive thru to pick up my prescription well before 1:30 as I couldn’t come earlier in the day with work, one car was in front of me and was made to wait for a long time. They eventually got helped and before I could even get the chance to pull up to the window they closed the pharmacy for lunch, completely wasting the trip I made to the pharmacy even though I arrived with plenty of time to be helped. I’m pretty understanding when it comes to getting off at a certain time for a lunch break, but when i’m the only person in line being refused to be helped it shows how much they care about the customers at this location.

I just have to say that this is my main Walgreens that I go to all the time. I don’t know if I haven’t been to this location on a Sunday night in awhile but there are definitely new staff and management that are very quick to rush people out before 9 o’clock. Never in 4years have I had a problem with the front, photo, or pharmacy. I get that it’s Sunday but you can’t tell one customer it’s closed and another that they have only 2 min or less to be out. Either way, I do love this location and if it’s an issue and the employees have better things to do, go home yourself or lock the doors before u close, end of story. Also I Don’t appreciate being watched as I shop as if I am being rushed to get what I need, last min or not, that comes with working for a corporate place. Especially a nice place as it is.

If you lock up every single electronic in the store and put a sticker on everyone that says look for the customer service button, you should probably have a customer service button. There's enough frustration in this world without having a drugstore mess with your head and burn your time.

Very rude & short answers. The girl with black hair flat out told us to apply to be a pharmacy technician if we wanted the wait to be shorter for our 2 year old sons prescription. When we showed up 6 hrs later for the prescription she told us “your order won’t be done anytime soon” & hung up on us at the drive-through. Needless to say we won’t be going to this Walgreens ever again.

Went and got passport photo taken and upon submitting was rejected. Photos were wrong and corrected on site with new pictures at the passport services where I was submitting paperwork. Took an example back to Walgreens of the correct photo and the copy’s they printed for me and still refused a refund but were willing to take another picture for me. Thanks for no help at all Walgreens wasted $ is a wasted customer

I went to Walgreens for a booster shot-, the person who checked me in did not know what she was doing, I had completed all the paperwork on line but she lost it. Then the pharmacist showed up with a needle-it appeared to be used. He pointed to a small room -Inside it was FILTHY-SMELLED OF URINE , STAINS ON THE WALLS. Fearing I was subjecting myself to a health risk I left!!!PLEASE, IF YOU VALUE YOUR HEATH, DO NOT USE WALGREENS AT HAYDEN AND MCDOWELL FOR ANY INJECTION.

This pharmacy is horrible. They are overworked and do the absolute bare minimum to function. Add in Covid testing and vaccinations make it a nightmare. Drive thru wait time for each vehicle is 6-10 minutes.Absolutely do not believe anything they tell you over the phone regarding your prescription. And even sometimes in person unless you are persistent and have literal verified information from your provider that they have sent over or called in your script. It literally takes your provider and an in person visit to get your Script filled properly.The only way to know your Script has been filled is when you have paid for it and have it in your hand exiting the pharmacy.Hate giving bad reviews, but enough is enough.

I tried to load money on my cash app card and the clerk couldn't do it. So the clerk told the manager about it. The manager told me that it was done and I couldn't get my money back. I was upset cuz both of them were very rude to me. I felt like they were discriminating against me for being disabled. I really don't know why they were so mean to me.

Always a significant delay on any prescription you need. Been customer of different Walgreens pharmacies for years, but this one is by far the worst one. Like many others I will be taking my business elsewhere.

DO NOT USE PHARMACY, CORP REFUSES TO FIX PROBLEM OF DRUG SHORTAGE. I CANNOT get my prescriptions on time because they don't have regular meds in stock. I have called their district manager & they are doing nothing to fix this. I have finally gotten I'll from not taking my meds on time. I am taking all my business to Fry's across the street. Employees at this store are so hardworking & pleasant to work with, I will miss them, this is not their fault, corporate doesn't have the medicines in stock. DONT USE WALGREENS PHARMACY ANYWHERE in AZ, tell your friends to use Fry's.

This pharmace has gone down hill. The customer service is horrible. The wait for a prescription is 3 to 4 days and then when asked about a time frame from a script turned in the morning I was told that she didn't have a crystal ball to predict how long it was going to take! Shame on this company for hiring people that hate their job..
