I've had Edwin hand strip my Cairn Terrier numerous times. I've been pleased all of those times and have always tipped. But today, I noticed when we got home, there was blood in my car. When I looked closer at her, I saw "inflamed" bald spots all over her. I called Edwin and asked what happened and it appeared someone else clip her (her head appeared scissor cut). He was immediately defensive and rude. Very unprofessional.

Lacked the ability to simply shave down my dog to shortest guard length like I asked for specifically and was repeated back to me. 4 hours time, shave is uneven, not worth the price. Plus I went in after 4 hours no phone call my dog is apparently ready as he's just in back somewhere. Didn't get a feel of comfort either like shushing my barking dog on the way out. They may care for grooming dog hair but didn't seem like dog lovers to me. Left tangled hair by his genitals as well. Expensive given the mediocre quality of job.

I took my two goldendoodles who were very overdue for grooming into Soul Doggy and they did an incredible job! Edwin called me to let me know they would need to be shaved which I expected but what I didn’t expect was how good they came out looking. I have had them shaved in the past and now realize that with extra time and care, they still can look like their cute selves. I highly recommend Soul Doggy and am so happy we have found this wonderful groomer for our dogs!

From the first time I met Edwin, he took the time to talk with me and explained the process of getting my dog looking her best. He was very kind to my dog and took the time to have her be comfortable with him and being on his table. He is a true professional. The owner is awesome! Her salon is extremely clean and she makes you feel welcome from the minute you step through the door. Definitely a FIVE star salon.

I would highly recommend Soul Doggy! I was so surprised at how reasonable the price was! Edwin did a wonderful job on my maltipoo and I think that he is the best groomer in Scottsdale! And I am very picky! The owner Lindsay is always friendly and they love dogs! I feel comfortable leaving my dog with them and every time I go to pick him up, I am so happy with how cute and clean my dog looks!

absolutely love this place! edwin and his staff are amazing and so friendly! it was my first time getting my puppy fully groomed and i was having a hard time finding a good, clean place until i found soul doggy! this boutique is so cute and so clean!! i felt so comfortable leaving my little baby with them and trusted them completely. they did an amazing job on my puppy's haircut and did exactly what i asked for. edwin truly knows what he's doing and has so much experience and patience! i can't recommend this place enough, they are just amazing. thank you again edwin! see you soon :)

Best dog boutique in Arizona. The shop is always so cute and clean and we love the seasonal back drops to take fun photos with. Edwin the groomer is so knowledgeable and always has my dogs looking perfect. The dogs are always comfortable and safe as they wait to get groomed in large pins with lots of room. I would recommend soul doggy to anyone looking for a great groomer!

Soul Doggy is hands down the best groomer my dogs have ever been to! Edwin will make your dog look like they are ready for Westminster! Not only is he knowledgeable about how to groom different breads of dogs but he can also give you training tips for your fur babies. Give Soul Doggy a try , I will guarantee you will be happy you did.

This place should absolutely not be in business. I took my beautiful chow chow to get groomed here yesterday. They complete ruined my dogs beautiful coat! They shaved her almost to the skin! She has rashes and razor marks all over her! All we asked for was a simple cut and to leave her still fluffy and the did the complete opposite and kept her there for almost 9 hours!! Please if you read this review do not take your dog here. They don’t care about the dogs and that’s a really sad thing to see. SO SICK!

After visiting Soul Doggy for the first time today, I have been converted to a forever customer!Starting with the appointment call, I knew this place was a grooming game changer. I was treated with kindness and respect.When I showed up for the appointment, I received the same great customer service! My pup, who likes to tell you exactly what she thinks, was not turned away nor was I rushed. I was assured that they have special comforting crates available for her if she started to feel anxious. After getting her settled, I knew she was going to be in good hands!Here is the best part!! When I arrived to pick her up, she was so happy and her haircut was exactly what I asked for! Again, I was given such great customer service at the end of the transaction.Thank you, Soul Doggy! Zoey and I will be seeing you in a few months! 🐶💕

This is where I take my Scottish Terrier to be stripped and groomed. When I first got my dog, a woman who showed Scotties told me that she wouldn’t have anyone but Edwin groom her dogs, and that was plenty recommendation for me. He has always done a great, professional looking job on her. I have had a number of people stop me on our walks and say what a great haircut she has.

Do NOT take your terrier here to be hand stripped. Edwin absolutely did NOT know what he was doing. They also had him the entire day and it looks like they only got his face done. He didn't smell clean either. Had I seen the groom I would of balked but my husband picked him up. So I say don't take your dog here
