He was working in the wine area and offered to help even though I told him I had several items to locate and was lost. He happily helped and went above and beyond. Saving me lots of time and above all, was very pleasant to talk to!You go Kevin!

Review your receipts if you shop here. I have always loved Safeway, but I will be switching grocery stores. I just started reviewing my receipts just the last 2 weeks and both times they over charged me. Last week it was for flowers a $7 difference and yesterday I was over charged $20! I called and they said bring in the receipt which I will do.

I placed an order on January 20 to be delivered by 12:45. It never arrived. Safeway said I should call DoorDash to see if I could get a refund. DoorDash said no Safeway should give me a refund. No apologies. No one at Safeway took responsibility or cared at all about my order. It’s 6:30 in the evening. No order. No refund. I was told “what do you expect me to do?” Don’t order from Safeway.

The most annoying grocery store!! so many times they are out of so many things. The app does not work in their store (their wifi is horrible) and if you “clip” items while you’re checking out they don’t go through fast enough so you have to then wait in line at the customer service line to get your money back. At the customer service line they only ever have one person working there and there’s always a line. I am frustrated and annoyed every time I come to this grocery store. Unfortunately it’s the closest one to where I live so the only good part is the convenience. Everything else is frustrating and annoying. :(

This place is a ticking time bomb!Why? Friday (early evening)me and my mother were shopping and made our way to the cereal aisle when a very skinny man came up, stood behind me and didn't say anything. My mother told me that someone was standing behind me and when I turned around he said " oh sorry", glanced at the products we were looking at and walked around us and out of the aisle. A few moments later as we were still trying to make a selection, the same man came back onto the aisle and this time stood in front of us with back turned to block our view. He didn't say anything. He didn't have a basket nor any groceries in his hands. At that point, we made the decision to get away from this person. He went and stood at the end of the aisle facing the check out area. We never saw this person again but very very weird!Now at check out is when this place gets even stranger. I checked out first and waited in front near the lottery ticket machine as my mother proceeded to check out separately. As I was standing there waiting, one of the baggers/workers walked up to his assigned bagging area and began to stare at me with a very hostile look. I ignored him at first, but he kept turning around looking at me. I was very confused so I asked him was there any reason why he kept staring at m? He shook his head with a look of disgust. I noticed he had a hearing aid in his left ear. He ignored me but kept looking then turned around to ask the man checking out in his lane something. I figured out that he was asking him did he know me because we were both black. The man looked confused too! Then the hearing aid wearing bagger proceeded to ask the other black man in line the same thing! We were all confounded at this point! My mother then proceeded out of the adjacent check out lane, then the bagger turned and looked at her and tried to say something. She said, excuse me? He made an expression of some sort then say Oh! As if to say, you two are together, I see. The first man told the bagger to go head about his business and to leave us alone because he really didn't want any smoke! The bagger went on about his business but before we left he made his way to the basket collection area to continue with his crazy shares as we left the store. Very disturbed man who shouldn't be working in the public if he doesn't like people of different ethnicities.Horrible experience.Been shopping here for almost nine years....Safeway in Scottsdale used to be a nice place to shop but not so "safe" anymore. At least not for certain people.

I usually enjoy shopping here, like the people at self checkout and butchers. Today as I was leaving the store two employees were yelling for me to come back something didn't go thru. I think they confused me with someone else. Customer service verified the payment was on my receipt. I rechecked my bags against my receipt at home. Everything accounted for. Very rude to yell at me and then go off and no one can tell me why.

This is better place to shop at anywhere they bring up your groceries and they’ve got real people here real great people. Thanks Jaaen!Ccccxc cxx.shop there often. In particular, I have experienced very helpful people in the Pharmacy.--That would be Evelyn, the manager, Tracy- a long time employee who makes you feel like family, and Jill, a super speedy and pleasant person, and **** UPDATE ALERT 11/1**** -- THERE'S A NEW TECH IN TOWN, & HER NAME IS 'AMANDA'* :)... Goodness, it's like she has been there a while, she just 'fits in' w her extra-courtesy and know-how. I recognized good follow thru on my first transactions w her. They are super busy, so she's " just what the doctor ordered! " (lol).. There is another tech there who is a bit new also, her name is....Ryan is the store manager, and he has many key employees as I see it, most notably Skyler, Sandy, Ursula and Danielle.The produce is always fresh, they have a great selection of beer, wine & spirits.. There is also a olive bar and a chicken and soup bar...We use the deli for our Thanksgiving dinner every year! Also, the butcher's will go out of your way to do special cuts and packaging for customer's just like an old-fashioned meat shoppe.Safeway has good sales, easiest to check circulars kept by lottery sales area...Although they can't always compete with Walmart as far as discount every price, the cust service and speed of checkout as well as good-value prices and weekly's make FLW Safeway a fine place to shop. Also staff knows you and lots of genuine smiles and assistance!

Very unprofessional and confrontational store, steer clear at all costs or risk being potentially arrested without causation. Even with video evidence the staff will just make false accusations to try and get you arrested. Your cashier Mel is great, other than that its truly a heaping pustule of a conglomerate.

Sadly, this Safeway store frequently engages in false advertising, by displaying reduced prices which are then not readily honored at the register.In other words, a non-expired deal shown on the price label is often not in the system at checkout time. For example, Lucerne sliced cheese, ice cream, etc.I expect that in vast majority of cases, customers are unaware that at the register they might not be getting the price that they thought they were getting.This is especially unfortunate in these high-inflation, recessionary times when everyone is trying to stretch their dollars.For customers who are attentive, the price label discrepancy often leads to uncomfortable situations at the register where the cashier or the self-checkout attendant might not readily agree to honor the displayed price, or is well-meaning and helpful but simply not empowered to honor it.If nothing else, time is wasted, as they have to fetch a manager who can honor it. Not to mention asking the customer to return to that aisle and capture a photograph of the price label.Sometimes the displayed price is an app-based "digital coupon" deal, yet in the app the item isn't shown to be on sale at all. As bad as this sounds, at least with digital coupons customers are more attentive since they have to look for the item in the app.Also unfortunate is the pattern that cashiers and self-checkout attendants are not aware of various product sections being on sale and so now a customer needs to go back and take a photograph to prove that the sky is blue.I believe that all Safeway employees should have a general idea which sections around the store are on sale at any given time. But unfortunately they are not.And please let's not pretend that this false advertising problem is an unintentional, honest mistake. Sure, it may have been so in the beginning, but the store clearly has a profit incentive with the "bait and switch" approach that they have laid on inattentive customers - it now really qualifies as negligence.There very well might be other Safeway locations that have the same problem, we just frequent this store more, though not as much as we used to. It seems to have become more expensive when compared to Fry's or Walmart.

Service is virtually non existent and the checkers that have been there for years are HORRIBLE. The younger and newer checkers are great. The prices throughout the store have skyrocketed and make you feel very taken advantage of. Would not recommend.

I have been shopping at this Frank Lloyd location for years. I like the layout when they change a few years ago. All of the aisles are named after our neighborhood streets. Associates are friendly and helpful. Evelyn the pharmacy tech and her staff are great!

Reasonable alternative to the upscale groceries nearby. Attentive deli staff, a Starbucks, huge wine selection. Beer selection is small but varied, plus a hidden end cap cooler with unique and local bombers. The pharmacy at this store is great, too. The staff remember you and are extremely patient and helpful. Feels like a real 'local' pharmacy.

I cannot get over how bad the customer service is at this store. Neither the store manager, customer service reps, or the cashiers knew what a cardboard box was. They found the acceptable way to package 7 yogurt parfaits was in two plastic bags, because they're deep thinkers.

Great selection of produce, fish, and meats. Most products are logically laid out in the store, though they are currently doing some remodeling. Store is kept clean. Prices are good on many items. Definitely sign up for their phone app so you get u rewards. They can save quite a bit of money so MAKE SURE TO USE JUST FOR U coupons on the App.

This is the first negative review I’ve ever left for a place. But the employees here are pioneers of bad customer service. They are super confrontational. Which is so odd. Never experienced anything like it.

This place has great prices and even better deals. The quality is excellent and it's not too busy. The staff members know where everything is, which is helpful when you're in a rush.The bakery and butcher sell quality meats and pastries far better than Walmart. They're not always the cheapest, or the best quality, but they're the perfect blend of both.The store is very well laid out in terms of access to most needed items.I shop here on a regular basis for all my groceries.As for COVID-19 regulations, they do require a mask to be worn at all times. I did see an employee wiping the handles of the carts as well. I feel a lot safer knowing they're taking active steps to keep the public safe.Thank you guys! 5/5 Stars

Easily the most disappointing stop I’ve made, the bathroom has one working sink, the hand dryer is like a soft warm wind doesn’t dry your hands at all. I got a drink from Starbucks in the store the drink I ordered wasn’t mixed properly it looked disgusting. Such a weird experience for such a nice neighborhood.

On April 26, Kendra in customer service clearly showed me how to use my online shopping app to select items on sale with the digital coupon and to use my app for my weekly shopping list. The staff members at this location are very friendly and attend to personal preferences bagging items. Great store!

Excellent store!! I feel bad for some of the cashiers, especially this nice young lady named Shamrock! She was so patient, and kept on getting verbally abused by unhappy middle-aged ladies over the most trivial matters! Actually, I feel worse for these customers. Their lives must be sad indeed. That cashier has a bright future ahead of her!

I’ve been coming here for years till now. Came in on the weekend was going to bbq for the football game went to meat dept to get the nice burger Patties the meat cutter makes. I came up the meat cutter threw his gloves off started cursing came up and in a crazy man’s voice said ya how can I help you. I laughed said wow never mind sorry I bothered you. I found mgr on duty let him know and didn’t seem to care. If you go to this safe stay away from the meat dept there’s a ticking time bomb back there. Actually I would be carful buying your meat there now as well.

We have been shopping here for the last 6 weeks and are very pleased with this store. Today, I found loin cut lamb chops that were about 1.5 inches thick for $5.00/lb. We grilled them and now I want more; they are a terrific buy. In general we find the selection, quality and store workers to be very good. I'll miss this store when returning to the cold Chicago area.

I feel like I live and work there. I shop at this store dang near everyday. The prices aren't bad, the service is always great from management, customer service desk, to the cashiers. Always a great safe, clean, and fast shopping experience. Try not to go between 5-7p the lines can be crazy!

The store was clean and the workers friendly. I waited for quite some time at the bakery, but a lady from another store came to my rescue. She was kind, sweet and funny making up for the wait.
