We live a couple hundred feet away from this Safeway. They recently started replacing their parking lot from 2:30 - 6:00 a.m. Lots of loud beeping, revving, rocks crashing and banging. Not very respectful of your neighbors.

Love this neighborhood super market. They have the best selection of products and the staff is extremely helpful and kind. Always a great shopping experience.

This Safeway is one of the best ones. The produce here was very fresh- even the fruit cups- not mushy or raw but perfectly ripe fruit. There's also a larger assortment of fruits and veggies here vs other Safeway. The aisles were well organized as well, and everything was easy to find. All the products were well stocked. The hot deli had so much too choose from as well.Plus, with everything pretty much spread out, the store didn't feel as crammed.Checkout was quick and easy. Had a great experience here!

I love Safeway! This Safeway is always clean and inviting and the staff are always helpful and kind. I have shopped at a few Safeways since I moved to Arizona but this one is my favorite by far! Most recently I had to use the microwave in the employee area of the store and they were ok with it!! Thanks!!

The store is fine, your standard Safeway. But where this store really shines is the drive up and go. The people who assemble the orders act like real humans with brains in their heads rather than computers following an algorithm. I can order confidently knowing that they will make sensible substitutions (i.e. if kale apple baby food is out of stock they will substitute another baby food instead of a bunch of kale which has happened to me at a different store). They run the substitutions by me when I pick up, and in the rare cases that something doesn’t work for us they will take it back in and refund me for the item. I have two little kids and they make life much easier. Hands down the best drive up service I’ve ever experienced.

Wish I could give this store 100 stars!!!!My coworker and I have been trying to work with a few different grocery stores the past week regarding a reoccurring bulk order. Sadly, almost every grocery store had some sort of issue as to why they couldn’t place the order, or we were waiting on answers for days. That was until we stopped into this Safeway location and spoke with Chris, the grocery manager. From the first point of contact with him to the very last at pick up, he was outstanding. The level of professionalism, willingness to do whatever needed to help place the order, communication was on point every time. Once we arrived to pick up the very large order, he and the frozen manager (I apologize I didn’t catch his name) helped walk the pallets to our cars and load them up. This was just the absolute best bulk buy experience ever, and we are so thankful to have met Chris and for him to be so willing to help. These days it’s rare to find such amazing workers- I sure hope this Safeway knows how incredibly lucky and blessed they are to have the support they do at this location.Thank you Chris and Safeway for providing an excellent and easy going shopping experience for us. We will be back soon for more! :)

I shop at Safeway almost everyday. The store is always clean, great customer service from the associates. Shelves are stocked and faced for the most part.When entering the store, displayed are entrees prepared, ready to grill out , side items and desert.You can also buy flower bouquets, balloons, cash in your coins at the coinstar kiosk and buy Arizona Lottery scratch tickets.Safeway also has two microwaves, two tables and chairs for eating lunch or a snack on the go. I don't know if all Safeways are set up the same but this one brings a lot to the table.

Good selection. Has everything I need. Clean. Prices are high everywhere. Used my flu shot 10% off coupon to save money. Plus gas points. No Starbucks in this store anymore.

Nice store, excellent bread in bakery depth. Enjoyed the most yummy sandwich from the delicious! The employee "G" was so professional and made an excellent sandwich. A true pleasure on my lunch break! I'll be back!💖

My favorite Safeway, but my only complaint is I always, and I mean always, have to argue for my Just for You savings. It seems they never get them in system correctly. It is a huge problem especially when there are people behind me in line and I have to constantly ask for the correct savings to be applied to my bill. When I take the time to add the products to my Just for You app, it should seem sime for them to do the same. Additionally they always seem to not have what I used to buy there in stock, whenever I go shopping.

Just like any other Safeway, however there was something different. It seemed a little brighter, a little cleaner and customer service was definitely better by leaps and bounds. I was very pleased with this trip to the grocery store. So pleased in fact , I almost forgot about the prices. LoL

Store is nice enough, cashier was the rudest human being I've ever had the displeasure to encounter. Please quit the customer service industry and do not work dealing with people. She said not ONE WORD to me, put my things in a bag, left them at the bottom of the belt, threw down the receipt, did not say thank you, no eye contact, nothing. She did not give me the sale price on an item and shrugged and said Go Have The Customer Service Desk Deal With It!Sorry I didn't check myself out, it would've been a much nicer experience.

A kid who works, or worked, at Safeway damaged my car after I reported him for having a four letter word vocabulary. I've not forgotten nor forgiven. I only shop there when I have to. If I buy a new car you can bet I won't risk shopping there again.

Just ate a rotten wrap. Two of my coworkers next door ate rotten sushi… this could put someone in hospital. Please care a little more, they had expired dates and had white furry stuff. Just unacceptable to have safeway sell this to humans…

I have yet to have any issues with safeway, my shopping experiences go very smoothly. I use self checkout a lot but when I don't, the cashiers are always courteous and efficient so check out is quick and painless.David, a daytime greeter at Safeway is very friendly and makes you feel welcome to shop in their store.This particular Safeway is my go-to for groceries.

July 27, 2022: I don't know of any place where you get greeted when you walk into the grocery store like at this Safeway Store on Pinnacle Peak and Scottsdale Road! That's what happened to me today! A Smiling, Happy Female Associate greeted me today! But, I have to admit from the Deli to Meat to the Produce Departments to the Self Checkout, I always have a great customer experience and service when I shop here! Great to see happy, beaming folks always willing to lend a hand. Even the store's Sanitation Lead helped me with a cart as I was ready to enter! It is a great place to shop. Wish I could move you closer to where I live! Par Excellence in Customer Service! So, I shop here vs going to the Summit store! Keep up doing what you are doing Pinnacle Peak Scottsdale Store! Thank you! I will see you soon!May 2, 2022: This SAFEWAY STORE IS STILL THE BEST! Pinnacle Peak Safeway!February, 2022. I like this Safeway Store. Larger than most Safeway stores and very stocked with items. Attentive associates!I was there before 7 AM on Super Bowl Sunday to pick up potato salad & other last minute items . Best service ever( and, frankly, it is ALWAYS GREAT HERE)! The lady who helped me took the time to answer my questions and gave me the freshest salad. I drive to this Pinnacle Peak store vs the one closest to me at the Summit because of:1. The great customer care and personal, friendly attention2. The freshest, high quality salads & meats3. Great environment to shop inCheck out Safeway at the Scottsdale and Pinnacle Peak roads intersection.

Great store! They had a lot of the items I like to purchase in abundance. Also the employees were very friendly. This location is not as convenient as the one by my house but I'm more than willing to drive to a store that appreciates their customers.

Well it's a grocery store, usual items and reasonably stocked. Most of the cashiers are pleasant and helpful. OK meats and seafood. Bakery not as good as Basha's. Skimpy deli, needs a better selection of meats, cheese; but the staff is nice and helpful.

I came here to grab some groceries on the way back from a hike, and it was like any other Safeway - big selection of items, fresh produce / bakery (including discounted items for quick sale, chocolate chip bagels and jalapeno cheese rolls both of which not every Safeway has) / seafood, clearly marked aisles, self-checkout machines. Big parking lot too and normal prices.

Im rating this because they had what I was looking for at this location!I walked in to used the bathroom and I was gonna leave then decided I would go check to see if they had what I couldn't find at several different stores in Mesa. Walked to the bakery and boom 💥 there they were, the Brown and Serve Rolls! Thank you for having them, I made one very happy man when I found them for him and brought them home.

This store is right around the corner from us. Yes I do prefer sprouts, however there are just things they don’t have and this Safeway is great for those. One thing that is exceptional and that is their chicken wings, one flavor that I haven’t any place else is the deadliest and vinegar. If you need something they will most likely have it.

Lots of money spent to make store look nice BUT none of the coolers were replaced. Dairy shelves are gross and product will not slide down. Do yourself a favor and go-to the DC Ranch store. You will see the difference in everything.

I go there because I live near to the one on Scottsdale RD. However, I have had several occasions where the chicken in meat dept is not fresh.. also, I have found entire stock of pre -packaged potato salad, was a week past expiration day posted. This being said, o think there needs to be improvement on quality control.
