I wish I had something good to say but on the night of December 28th I was rushing to get to the post office to ship my items for eBay and did not have the right size boxes so in order to save money like I normally do I went to your trash can as you guys get rid of many size boxes and I was confronted by one of your managers and I get the point trash diving is not allowed but I was going trying reasoning with them and then I guess the head manager for the evening not sure of his name came out and started being belligerent said he was going to call the cops over some cardboard I said go ahead things escalated he pushed my truck door I pushed it back then he proceeded to break my mirror with his fist over some cardboard I would think of stuff escalates like that over your trash I figured you would put a lock on it or at least post signs on the trash cans which there isn't that I could see nor are they locked after I get the police report I will update with the name and I do think he should cover the cost of my mirror and I do not think this qualifies as a helpful hardware folk so next thing I will be doing is contacting Ace hardware corporate as I think they would like to review the video to see how fast things escalated over some cardboard if you want to prove stuff happen the way it did I asked you to please post your video to YouTube to show who's right and who's wrong the ball is in your Park so I'm going to tell as many people as I know my side of the story if they agree with meThey might leave the same review any future review regarding sustainable future that's just another person I told there is no reason why you can't post the video to YouTube thanks and have a great day PS people come and go feedback last a lifetime

I cannot say enough good things about this place!!! The employees are so kind and experienced you can go in and if you need help you they are so skilled in their trade it’s like small town service in the city.I needed help with getting my roof rack bolts off and two of the sweetest employees took the time to help me get them out! They used their own tools and I was able to buy the tools I needed to get them back on.I’m from a small town and you can expect this kind of service there but I did not expect to find that here in the city. It was so nice. I wouldn’t have been able to use my roof racks without their help because I didn’t know who could even do that.Thank you so much!

This place is awesome! The people here are so friendly and helpful. It’s the warmest feeling stepping into this location. I’m never going anywhere else! Ten out of ten I recommend. (Shout out to Steve for the help)

Was looking for repairs on a small glass window. They have a "Fix It Dept".....he reported that they CAN fix it.....a week later I returned and repairs were Great & a Low Price, too ! Go to These Guys---super nice people !

I wish I could remember the name of the man who helped me, but I owe him a great deal! I went into the store to buy a screwdriver to replace the plates on my car. He saw I didn’t really know what I was doing and changed the plates himself. Great customer service helping the new kid on the block!

Joseph helped us 2x this weekend selecting the pieces and tools to fix a pipe under the sink. The total price was even less than $10 on the first trip. Joseph’s help was customer service at its best! He spent the time to explain what we had to do to fix it as we are completely “unhandy”. Thank you for your excellent service!

Management is inconsiderate of people who try to get cardboard from the trash things can escalate for management of this location will break your mirror off your vehicle over cardboard considering their trash is not locked they should lock their trash

I have visited Paul's quite a few times since purchasing my first home in the area 2.5 years ago. Every time, the staff has been very friendly and helpful in finding what I need. In particular, Steve has gone above and beyond helping me with a couple of wood projects. For the first project, the big box store could not help me. Not a problem for Steve, he completed the job quickly and even offered to drive it home since it was a large item. For the second project, Steve not only saved me several hundred dollars compared to what a framer was going to charge, he completed it in a day. After thinking about it, he was able to construct the project in a manner that was more secure and about 40% less than what he originally estimated. I really appreciated the care and honesty. This is definitely our family's go-to hardware store!

Chase was extremely helpful because he was GENUINE and empathetic. Proceeded to go outside in 100° weather(excessive heat warning notification received) to help me mount a 30-day permit pass to my license plate while I'm working out my emissions. My original plan was to buy the tools to do it myself but he offered to save me $20 if I allowed to go to the workshop to grab a ratchet and bolt. He could of just let me purchase to get the sell for the store since he searched high and low to help me find the right tool. Talk about valuable emmployee. PLEASE GIVE THIS MAN A GIFT CARD OR SOMETHING. Thanks, Chase.

I tried to call In a complaint about an employee and the employee that harassed me for parking in pickup spot 20 minutes before close, said he was not harassing me and he was very condescending by disregarding how I felt during my visit at ace hardware. I didn't see the pickup sign until I pulled in but the guy greeted me with hostility coming in the store. He refused to give me his name but he was a older gentlemen with glasses working 730 Saturday night 6/24. The employee shouldn't bring his personal problems to work.

Iam done giving Ace my business. I arrived to exchange two propane tanks. I paid $61.00 at the register, just to be told they won't accept my returns. They had rust on themApparently their new propane exchange company won't accept them.Funny, just a mile down the road is Lowes. They took my exchange, zero issues. Then to top it off, it was $20.00 cheaper!Ace is not the place with more stuff. It used to be. Now it's just an overpriced place, that has lost my forever Business.

I am from out of town and I am also disabled I use a Rollator to get around and I needed to replace a specialized screw. One of your employees you took great care of me and even installed the replacement screw for me. I believe his name is Ritchie. He deserves kudos.

I see why people shop at the big box stores you buy apart from a different Ace hardware and when you go to return it at a different one they tell you know you got to drive 2 hours back to the one you bought it at what a joke I will never shop at an Ace hardware againThis is edited after you guys responded to my review and just to be clear there was no manager that wanted to speak with me and I had the receipt so I am not sure what you are talking about and every Ace hardware I've been to carries the exact same Ace hardware garbage disposal

The salespeople are super helpful. Way more than what you'd get at the big box stores. Like they'll actually suggest solutions that you might've never thought of. Slightly less selection maybe, but generally they have everything you need. It's a franchise, but locally owned.

I wanna give a Shout out to Steve the Gentleman working over by lumber garden area was very kind helped me out a great deal so thank you so much again sorry I wiped you guys out of the Omni compost but we have some beautiful baby plants that need to get in the ground today, This has been a project going on since November and finally it will get finished today! Yay. So thanks again Steve for your professionalism while being so friendly kind and extremely helpful.. This ace location has more knowledgeable staff then Home Depot and Lowes combined. TWAN and RYE are awesome they helped me find everything. Screws, double sided sticky tape, ant traps and a grommet. TWAN knew were everything was in the exact location. When they say ace is the place they are talking about this location Thanks again guys! ☺️

Dang I feel bad for leaving a bad review as I hope this was just a fluke. I love ace hardware because everybody is so helpful and knowledgeable. But today I walk in and I literally passed over five representatives and not one even welcomed me, said hi, or can I help you. Even checking out was an awkward experience. Not sure what was going on there. I’ll still continue to go but just a wake up call.

Very friendly and helpful staff! Prices are a bit higher than big box stores, but I enjoy wandering around and finding stuff I didn't know I needed. I was surprised that they carried scroll saw blades, but they had the assortment I needed. Its walking distance from home, which makes it even better. My grandsons enjoy going there to wander around, too when they are visiting me.

I love supporting Paul's Ace Hardware! The staff is ALWAYS helpful and friendly. How do they always have what I'm looking for? Today I asked for " silica/ silicone tape, like what you wrap around pipe threads?" The cashier picked up a roll of it (right there *at* the counter) and said "do you mean this, Teflon tape?" Oh my Goodness!!! How did that happen!!?? I swear, Paul's Ace is magical!

Lori on the check out is awesome and really helped me with my iPhone app to get my $5.00 reward. Senior moment! I also was confused about the 10% off for Feb 7 and she gave me that even though I couldn’t get my phone to work. It was only supposed to be for on-line orders but I was confused! I absolutely love this store for all my home fix it projects. Long time employees that are friendly and helpful every time I walk in. They have specific parts that Lowe's doesn't carry and I prefer to support the local guy. They always have interesting and random products in the checkout area. Wondering if you will ever have CBD Products?
