Oh My Dog is the BEST grooming we have ever found!!!! Stella, our mini golden doodle loves day play & getting groomed once per week! The pink bows are an extra special touch too :). We took our two new small breed dogs weighing only 7 pounds and the other nine pounds there for the first time blanca did a good job ..second time wasn’t good at all we didn’t say anything.we scheduled an appointment at 10 am so they wouldn’t be there all day didn’t get a call until 3 pm to pick them up..They were the last dogs there ?place completely empty I don’t know how they were the last dogs if their appointment was at 10 AM ..they were shaking waiting by themselves just a horrible experience seeing them in that condition with their haircut not looking anything the way did the first time which was more of a defined scissor cut.. this time they just looked shaved, looks like they were rushed and they were just left for last due to them being pushed back in scheduling my poor puppies…one shaved because they said there was matted hair on her legs she looked so sad .. I know the matting on her leg was not that bad, but I just said OK I should’ve just picked them up at that point this was after them being there for two hours that they called they don’t have the time to correctly brush out and round out the legs …they mentioned we should bring them in every two weeks! Seriously! They over book at this place money comes first Dogs comes second ..I realized just on their scheduling and how they say they’re always too busy so anyways we took them for the third time and the gentlemen did their hair didn’t cut their nails, the hair was different lengths on their legs not scissored cut nor rounded at all long hair on back legs looking a mess !..both dogs have ponytails ..he cut the middle of their ponytails on forehead in the middle of the eyes so now we have to wait for it to grow back out!!!! OMGI the boy looked like a old man with a beard?? I don’t think he was familiar on how to cut this particular breed and we showed them so many pictures the first time we were there I think over 20 pictures on exactly how we are growing out their hair on their faces I almost lost it seeing this ! My mom wanted to cry..It didn’t even look like they got scissor cut. It just looks like they got bathed by the lady who does a wonderful job they smelled clean and that’s about it but anyways, this place is over booked and they put money over the dogs and we won’t be going back ….after going in letting them know that the dogs looked the same when we picked them up the gentleman I believe Gabriel not looking anything like previous cut . Prior to this we went to Yvonne who no longer works there ..gentleman told us to go to her instead but we’ve been going here for years ..both of those dogs have just passed recently and this is how we get treated with our two new puppies so sad.We’ve only been there three times with our new puppies, and we never said anything even about when I realized coming in and a customer walking in behind me I heard groomer saying to associate that there 45 minutes late and customer saying sorry were late…they do play favorites because at that time they said my dogs would have to wait and when I said that we are on time actually 10 minutes early why should we have to wait ? While customers that are running late especially an hour to 45 minutes that doesn’t make any sense. I believe if a customer walks in 45 minutes late, they better turn around and reschedule you can’t pick who first is what I thought in my head ? Why would they push our appointment back when we are there early.I would stay away from this place if you want more of a not so rushed experience and your appointment not being honored by someone playing favorites having someone take a customer that’s 45 minutes to an hour late before for you doesn’t make sense ? I prefer having someone that’s more caring and understanding about how you feel and I never thought someone say that we were complainer. We were very nice and very patient and very quiet about how we felt but not now After reading all the reviews, I don’t think I’m alone.. . I felt bad about everything especially how my mom was treated.when I wasn’t there.

Best grooming experience hands down. My little girl always looks great, always has the time of her life. Thanks for providing exceptional service. Best groomers in town. Jackie and Griffin are doing an amazing job and the staff are always so sweet. They were amazing to work for as well, which is a bonus. You guys are the best. 🤗

I needed a place to bring my beloved Caviler puppy on days when I wanted him to get out of the the apartment and play with other dogs his size when I was unable to take him to a dog park due to the fact I am a full time student. I was nervous dropping him off the first day, just like a mom would be dropping off a child at daycare, but when I came to pick him up they said he did great and had lots of fun. I like the fact that they only allow dogs that are under 30lbs because I know he will be safe. The best part about OMD is that they send you a report card every day with a picture of your dog and a description of who (other dogs) they played with and what they did. It makes me feel so much better to get an update on him and see that he is having fun. I love the staff, they are all exceptionally nice and you can tell they care about the dogs a lot. I trust them with my Archie who is my baby and I’d 100% recommend them to anyone who needs a safe, reliable place for their dog to play.

Still scratch my head on this one. We have been customers of Oh My Dog for about 10 years. We have utilized their day stay, their boarding overnights, and grooming services. Our grooming schedule was scheduled every 5 weeks scheduled for our two dogs. The last time around, 2.5 weeks in after the cut, both dogs hair was looking longer than normal, like they almost needed to be groomed again. I didn't get upset, I didn't call in to complain. The next visit, I dropped the dogs, I made mention that this last groom the dogs hair just looked longer. The first response well maybe the one dog's hair is growing faster, both dogs I asked? I was not impressed at all with the Owner, he took it too offensively. Instead of stating something simple let me talk to the groomer, and we'll make adjustments (easy right?) , the response was well in you live in Fountain Hills(we were driving there because we liked them, I have referred them over and over) it was there are plenty of groomers out there...this is by the owner!! Are you serious?? This time they did, do a nice job, enough that I called in for an appointment. Thought everything cooIed down, things were fine, the next time around, didn't hear anything about reminders of grooming, found out we were taken off the calendar...The person at the phone had no clue to our name, not a big deal, but hey after 10 years, every 5 weeks. I placed a call to the owner, to see if there was a misunderstanding that we were cancelling, no response back. Nice....Needless, to say he was right, there are plenty of groomers out there, I just know our dogs loved it there. So if you're a client, stay quiet, because even a casual comment of the dogs hair being a little longer, you will not get a nice response....this was after 10 years...sad....Still shocked.

When I lived in Arizona I used to go to the boutique/grooming salon and buy collars, leashes and get my Yorkie's hair cut (short on the main body and teddy bear face). She never looked like more like a cutie ever. The prices are a bit high for designers Susan Lanci but they also have great sales on the same products as well as different designers who are more affordable. They sell collars, leashes, bow ties, beds, blankets, travel bags, purses to carry the dog in, strollers, sweaters, shirts, pants and much more. Their grooming salon is very good for the price. They do not deliver so I am a bit upset but if I go on vacation back to my old stomping grounds, I would definitely stop by and I suggest you do to.

In a world full mountebanks and people who are just trying to take your money this is the place that you want to go to avoid that from happening to you. My little boy Harvey always gets compliments on his hair. And I must compliment the hairstylists, they are artists. This isn’t just an ordinary hair groomer, they are professionals. Also, the owners are extremely friendly and provide high quality costumer service. (Something hard to find these days). The owner answered all of my questions and concerns and even gave Harvard a complimentary hair cut because THEY made a tiny mistake. I’m always happy with the work. My boy comes out looking regal.

Lots of dogs in the spa area getting services and looking so doggone happy. Their menu boasts a variety of services and I definitely would bring our lil pug Miso.

Love love love Oh my dog!! When I go out of town I always board my dog at oh my dog and she absolutely loves it! The teachers are so caring and amazing with the dogs. The owners are really great! Everything is fantastic. Highly recommend!

My dog Finn has been going to the day play, stays at the hotel, and gets groomed by Bianca for over 3 years. He gets a cute bandana after every grooming. We have had a great experience on all levels. Jackie is very nice and I don't even understand some of these "so-called" bad reviews. Everyone that works upstairs and downstairs are extermely nice and accommodating. I love that I can text for all appts and questions. I have had only an issue or two and they are resolved asap with ease. I cannot recommend this place enough and they even started carrying some cat items in the store!

I had the opportunity to take a long vacation but I was nervous about leaving my dog. Oh my dog was recommended by a friend. Immediately I was impressed with their structured routine and wholistic approach to caring for each dog. The staff works hard to minimize stress, to keep the dogs active and thinking, and to offer comfort care. Their daily updates and pictures were a highlight that were key in easing my worry. I picked my dog up and he was happy! Clean! And he even learned a few new tricks! Thank you so much for your hard work everyone!!! Cheers to many play dates and vacations in the future.

THE WORST SERVICE/ zero starts if I couldI call yesterday and I’m told that I can book a grooming appointment for certain day and time . I filled out a form after the call with all my info and my puppy’s info.However next day they call me to say they can’t take my dog because they don’t have anything available until 4 weeks? I say what I was told a day before, they say that they are giving priory to existent clients and they can’t book my puppy anytime soon.I don’t understand why you wouldn’t treat any client the same? I wanted to become a regular client but this place is a joke. No serious business works like this. This is call discrimination. Right after I fill out my info they call to say that. I'll make sure all my friends and family in Phoenix know about this ridiculous place.

Maybe the cutest dog salon you'll ever find! I love all the cute clothes and collars at this shop. The groomers do an amazing job on my yorkies. I'm really particular about their haircuts and I've always been happy with the service here. The store is also set up so you can sit and wait if you'd like and watch your dog being groomed. Some places I've been to make it impossible to see what's going on but this shop encourages it.WE LOVE THIS PLACE AND THE STAFF! Thank you for taking care of Gigi and Ollie!

I've trusted the Oh My Dog groomers with my two small poodles for years and they do an amazing job. Blanca is our usual groomer, and her attention to detail and gentle handling is second to none. For the most part, Oh My Dog only accepts small to medium dogs, with some exceptions. My girls Chloe & Cupcake come out so beautiful, primped like show dogs!

I love Oh My Dog! I always feel safe leaving my little guy there, the staff is always sweet and helpful. The owner, was sweet and helped me pick out a car seat for our dog and actually came out and put it in for me. They have amazing treats, food and cute dog accessories. Highly recommend Oh my Dog for your little ones!

Google says they close at 6 so I show up at 4:55 to buy a pup cookie for my dogs bday and the lights were off but door was unlocked so I walk in and a lady comes out from the back saying they are closed. I asked if I could just purchase a cookie and she says, “no, sorry register is closed” so I told her that Google says 6pm and she said, “mm..sorry”.

3 weeks ago groomer here gave my dog an ear infection by not cleaning water out completely. Went in for my appointment today at 10:30 and was told by owner JACKIE GRIFFIN she couldn't take my goldendoodle because she was matted and that I needed to take better care of my dogs hair (shouldn't be too bad if she was just at oh my dog 3 weeks ago) ... while I was walking out she slammed the door on us both HITTING MY PUP causing her to yelp. The worst service I've ever had from an owner. DO NOT LEAVE YOUR DOG HERE UNSUPERVISED.

From the husband/wife owners to the rest of their dedicated dog-loving team, OMD is an awesome business to support. Starting with grooming: Making appointments is easy. The grooming team is professional and listens to grooming requests. They have an 'open grooming' area, which always makes me feel more comfortable that the groomers are treating the dogs well. BUT What really sets these guys apart is their upstairs play & stay area. It is an awesome opportunity for the little guys to socialize off leash and in a safe environment. This is the first business I've ever felt comfortable leaving my little overnight & trusted that he would be well cared for. You even get little report cards with pictures that let you know how things are going. Last note is customer service: I would call our patronage semi regular (we do the play area a couple times a month, he's done overnight stays a couple of times & he gets his grooming there every 8-10 weeks). Even so, the team always greets my little guy by name. The few times I have had a question or concern, the team was able to help answer/resolve my queries quickly and professionally. Thanks for being fabulous OMD -- we'll keep telling everyone about you guys!

The stories that I have heard about this business are deplorable. My friend took their dog to this place a few times, and after this last visit, they will never go back, nor will I let any of my friends go. The owner tells lies to his customers and to the public to save his reputation, and his staff is clearly not trained on how to properly communicate with customers. Mistakes happen - dogs may get in fights, groomers may mess up while grooming - that’s fine. But when the staff doesn’t let the customer know about wounds on their dog, or ANY issue that came up during the dog’s stay, that is unacceptable. This place is a complete money grab and will do or say anything to save its reputation. They need to spend more time investing in their staff and how they communicate to customers. I recommend that you NEVER take your dog here.

This review is long overdue...I've been taking my dogs to OMD to get groomed and also to stay for boarding. I know my 2 anxious dogs will be taken care of because everyone on their staff loves dogs and treats them as if they're their own. Their staff genuinely cares and they know how to handle any dog personality. I love getting the daily report card update emails they send when I board my dogs; it's a really fun and cute way to see how my dogs are doing and what they're up to (ex., Santa visits with squeak toys around Christmas time ha). OMD is truly the best, I can't emphasize it enough--from their amazing staff to their conscious selection of quality food and treats to their fun toys and insanely soft beds/blankets--I will always be a customer and super fan of OMD. Thanks for being so awesome, OMD!

I took my two small dogs in, one to be groomed and the other for a bath and brush. The staff was very friendly but I have to say I wasn't thrilled that they took my dogs collars and harnesses off before they took them in the back. My one dog got out of the room with the groomer before I even left. Fortunately she came right to me. I thought about just getting my other dog and leaving but I decided to let them stay. When we came back to pick them up I was surprised they just let them come running out to us. There was another customer in there with a very large dog. I was lucky that my dogs came straight to my husband and I. I had no idea nor did the employees know how that dog was going to act towards my dogs. The lady was just browsing in the store and was not a regular customer. My dogs are small. They only weigh 12 pounds. I have to say I was a bit freaked out not knowing they were just going to let them run out. Also after getting my dogs home and really looking at them I wasn't impressed with the cut on my one dog. And my other dog kept scratching which made me wonder if they rinsed her well. Due to the situations that occurred I will not be taking my dogs back to this facility.

I have been a customer at Oh My Dog for 3 years now and everyone is so nice and so great and loving with my dog. You can imagine my surprise when last week I took my 3 lb yorkie shih tzu for a groom and picked her up with 4 gashes under her armpits. I still had to pay full price of $60. My dog was really matted so I understand it was a difficult session. I do not believe they did this on purpose but it did happen and the owners did not handle the situation in a professional manner. I ended up having to take Penny to the hospital because she was non stop shaking, not eating or drinking and vomiting. The hospital gave me antibiotics and pain medicine for Penny. Her hospital visit ended up being $200. I contacted the owners letting them know that penny was not doing well and I had to take her to the hospital. They felt bad but were not willing to refund me for her haircut or pay for the medical bills because they said it was not their fault due to her being matted. They offered to give me a "discount" on her next groom. I am really upset that they are willing to loose a 3 year customer over a few hundred dollars. It makes me sad that penny won't be coming here because I really do love this place but I can't forget how they handled the whole situation. It has been 4 days now and my dog is still not herself.

Not surprising that the little white dog Maricela Anina is referring too is our Little Honey a 6 lb Maltese who to put is bluntly - HATES to be brushed due to her fine coat and issues with her coat matting quickly - New mats develop constantly; even with daily brushing and weekly grooming.When Honey is matted being brushed out; My little girl with attack the brush and the hand of the person that is brushing. For a Do; biting of any kind is a NO, NO! And although it is not admirable to slap a dogs snout when they bite - it sometimes becomes necessary in order to let the dog know that this behavior is NOT acceptable or becoming!We have been utilizing Oh My Dog for over 10 years and can show you photos of the other side of Honey when she gets groomed and she appears to be enjoying the pampering and acting like a complete princess.I realize when looking in from the outside and watching the groomer work - their actions can be misinterpreted, but after 10 years of GREAT service from Oh My Dog - I feel I know their operation well and Jackie would NEVER keep an abusive groomer on staff at Oh My Dog.In closing, my little girl gets excited for he weekly trips to Oh My Dog and if there was an issue - I would know because she would not be excited to be left there for her grooming. I also have photos as proof.Thank you for your concern....

My dog looked absolutely lovely! Very friendly employees and clean environment. However online pricing does not reflect final pricing. I was only expecting to pay up to $60 for my puppy, according to online price guide. However after she was done I ended up paying $70. Apparently she had some bad knots. I have taken her into PetsMart grooming with some bad matting and only paid $55. Just clarify the price before you leave.

I can't say enough wonderful things about Oh My Dog! I send my French Bulldog here for day play sessions - the staff are always attentive, they pay attention to the dogs and obviously care. My dog is always excited when we start walking up the stairs to Oh My Dog - I would recommend this establishment to anyone.

I have been taking my poodles to OMD for about three years, but after the way they treated my dog and me as a person, I will NEVER be coming to this facility again. If you care about your dog, you will do the same.I came to drop my two poodles off to get there grooming done. They looked good, but as I was leaving I noticed something did not feel right. My poodle Cosmo, kept licking himself and I noticed was not moving as much as usual. I could not figure out what was bothering him and after some investigation, I found a very large cut under his tail that mortified me. I rushed over to OMD, only for the owner not to be there and for the front desk to tell me there wasn't much they could do. As I proceeded to tell them how upset I was about the cut and the fact NO ONE said anything, they took down my number and said the owner would call me.THE OWNER WAS WORSE THAN THE STAFF. When I ASKED for a refund and compensation for the medicine I needed to buy for him (which I had a receipt for) he goes on to tell me "why do I need to compensate you for medication you've bought, you're not even coming back."Please reconsider where you are taking your dogs.

I need to give a shout out of thanks to Jackie at “OH MY DOG”. I have been aggravated with my dog barking at the front door when he hears anyone/anything on the other side. Jackie suggested that I thank him for doing his job and letting me know someone/something was out there. I must confess I thought she was crazy, but as crazy as it sounds it works. Now, when he starts barking, I thank him, give him some affection and he stops. Thank-you for helping me solve this problem with kindness.
