How do you thank a team and doctor for helping you out at the darkest point in your life??Dr Sarah Brown is absolutely just one of the nicest and honestly best human beings- I've met. I lost the love of my life- Leo...and her kindness and expertise as well as honesty ...made it more bearable for me.Thank you to the entire team for the card you sent and the kind words you all added- you'll probably never know how much those little things mean- But I am truly grateful for each and every one of you.Leo - was the absolute joy and happiness that made me get up every day with a smile. I felt honored to be his Mom- and I will carry him with me forever. The joy he gave to so many people and other animals ..was endless- he touched so many lives❤️May everyone take a chance and experience this love in their lifetime- for all the pain I would 100% do it all over again, because the joy and memories fill your heart. We have been seeing Dr. Trupp ever since we moved to Arizona several years ago and he has been our vet for multiple of our furbabies since then. Even though they are more pricey than some other vets in the area, it is worth every penny for how knowledgeable and thorough they are as well as how amazing and friendly all of the staff here is. Even though we live in Old Town Scottsdale now, we still make the trek to North Scottsdale to take our furbabies here because it is totally worth it.

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Brown and the North Scottsdale Animal Hospital. I moved to AZ in 2020 and established care for my sweet Tori here based off good reviews on google. We had a great 2 years here, and unfortunately Tori developed a rare nasopharyngeal lymphoma. Losing her was one of the hardest things I have ever been through, and through it all, the staff of North Scottsdale Animal Hospital were compassionate, they cared about Tori and even called me to check in on her while we were in the process of seeing an oncology specialist for workup, and when the time came to put my sweet kitty to sleep, Dr. Brown made sure to clear time for me to bring her in when it worked best for me. While this location is far from the cheapest in the valley, I consider my pets to be family members, and would rather spend the extra money to make sure they receive the best care.

I was able to get a new patient appointment quickly and the staff was very friendly. The doctor was realistic with me about my dog’s treatment and wasn’t just trying to get money out of me which i appreciate. Very thorough exam and i feel confident with the care we were given. From the moment I picked up the phone to make a new patient appointment with Dr. Josh, I knew we were going to be happy! And sure enough, Dr. Josh & his team are wonderful. They give you the time your pet needs, did NOT try to sell me anything my Charlie didn't need. Actually, it was so refreshing to hear from a vet that "our best treatment right now, is no treatment" - let Charlie recover and not pump him full of stuff. SO fantastic! Amazing hospital. My little fur baby is so happy to come here. There grooming is affordable and they do a great job. The vet is very nice. The location is clean. They also put on a cute little bow on my kitty cat.

This seems to be a very responsive, friendly, and extremely accommodating veterinary clinic! I had called in just before the New Year when every other vet was completely booked up, and I did so while traveling overseas. The wonderful vet technician Samantha who fielded our call was an absolute pleasure to interact with. She easily worked with our (quite complicated) needs and was able to help us perfectly!I would be very quick to recommend this vet after the wonderful treatment that we had received, and will no doubt consider them again in the future.

I've had cats most of my life, and having lived a few places around the valley, I've also been to several vets.This place is the first to have made me feel very comfortable and reassured. They actually handled my cat like they cared about her, explained everything to me about her dental problems and what they would do, encouraged me to ask any questions, and even recommended me to a special practice, if it would make me feel better about her being put under for the procedure. There's really something to say about people who will recommend you to someone else—they care more about you and your pets than making money, and I really appreciate that.They also never made me feel silly about my concerns, and never pressured me to make a decision, like most other places.Now that I've finally found a vet that feels trustworthy, I feel relieved to have people I trust with my babies and know that I will always have access to expert care. Ember and Sarah are amazing!

Brought cat in for emergency. Turns out she had cancer :( North Valley provided prescriptions to keep her comfortable. Said to use their recommended pharmacy so we could get the meds faster. Paid their pharmacy for overnight delivery.4 days later I call pharmacy asking where meds are and they tell me these meds take 2 weeks to ship.Called around and a vet was able to take cat for an appointment and deliver meds right there.North Scottsdale Animal Hospitals advice delayed comfort care for my dying cat of 20 years. Which either makes them incompetent or cruel.

I can say I really appreciate the staff here. They are very attentive to my needs. I originally came here as a new pet owner three years ago. I found 13 ticks on my newly rescued dog and immediately got him an appointment. The staff listened to my concerns on the initial phone call. I came in and the vet was awesome as well. My dog isn't good around people when he's with me so they took him to the back... which I didn't mind. I remember this being about a $500 visit which was kind of high but I didn't care at the time because I was a worried new pet owner.My second annual visit, I came back and all was good. Staff still great. The only thing I didn't like is that I was charged $143 for a yearly heartworm medication. I about had a stroke... But again it was for my dog.I will be visiting again this July 2020 and well I had to cancel my scheduled visit because I will be out of town. I rescheduled this morning 7/9/2020 and told the the woman on the phone I had some questions... she was absolutely positive, responsive, very thorough and did not seem like I was bothering her with my questions. The hospitality is there. I want to feel that I am putting my dog into a protective and safe environment. I truly feel that here.I was going to go to another vet due to pricing, however, I did not get the hospitality that I get here. I would rather spend money to have my dog in good care than to go somewhere else where I am just a number.Thank you North Scottsdale Animal Hospital for allowing Jasper and I to be part of your community! We appreciate your hospitality and care!

Today was our first visit and we have adopted this incredible team as our new family for our fur babies!! We were referred by a friend and she was right! From the moment we stepped in the door and greeted by friendly staff, to meeting our amazing Tech and of course Dr. Sarah Brown, everyone took time to get to know us and our Miss. Daisy. My dog wags his tail madly when we arrive for care, and is really quite reluctant to come home when I pick him up from his grooming appointment!!! They were able to squeeze us in immediately! The staff and physicians were so very friendly and kind! They listened to our concerns and double checked our fur baby to ensure there was no infection present. Then they discussed treatment options with us and demonstrated how to administer treatment. We received a follow up call two weeks later simply to ensure our fur baby was feeling better. Highly recommended!

I can’t say enough great things. Extremely helpful and caring staff. I called on a Saturday when I noticed my dog’s face had swollen up in hives after a walk.I called as a new patient and they got us right in. He was suffering an allergic reaction from something he got stung by. They brought him back as soon as we walked in the door. Dr. Sarah greeted me very kindly and was extremely comforting. He was given medications to treat the allergic reaction and they watched him after to make sure it was working. His face and heavy panting calmed down very quickly.I am so grateful to have found this practice. Everyone was very nice at the front desk as well as the Dr. and assistants. My dog is doing well.Thank you for saving my Labrador!

Dr. Brown and her team are amazing. They took my puppy in on a very short notice and on a Saturday! Everyone treated us like family. They are some of the nicest people I have ever met. They loved on my puppy like he was their own. Everyone was so nice, friendly, and professional. Everything was explained to us before proceeding with anything, including the costs, and everyone was so patient. I didn’t feel rushed or made to feel dumb. What an amazing group of people. I’ve lived in Phoenix for almost three years. I had originally taken my 12 year old cat to another vet clinic for her yearly check and lions cut the last two years, but felt uneasy this past year. Luckily, through a great referral I learned about N. Scottsdale Animal Hospital.From the moment I walked in, I felt like we mattered to the entire staff. From the receptionist, to the technician, to Dr. Josh and the groomer, everyone was extremely welcoming. It was a breath of fresh air.Dr. Josh was amazing! He really took the time to understand everything about my “baby”. I had some concerns with her being getting older and he walked me through everything. When I started to tear up, he reassured me and was comical (in a positive way), which oddly enough, made me realize my “baby” was in a good hands.When I picked her up same day, the staff again was very welcoming and Dr. Josh took the time to update me and yet again reassure me.In my cats 12 years of life, this has been the best experience I’ve had and would recommend them to anyone. They really do treat your pet as family.

I trust each of the veterinarians and everyone on the staff.Dr Josh constantly looks for new advances in veterinary care.Balancing financial concerns and well being can be so hard. They've made me comfortable with those discussions. I've been given the information I need to make confident choices.Many of my friends and clients go there too! We all love them. Ok.. so my dog still thinks they're sketchy. After 12 years you'd think she'd adjust. Right?

I cannot say enough positive things about this office. Not only are the Doctor and his techs amazing, but so are all the front office staff. We have pet insurance and they make it a breeze. Any time I need to make an appointment, handle a bill, get a prescription, etc. it is so easy to work with them. They are thorough and timely but also take care in their responses and make sure they are giving the most accurate and up to date recommendations for our fur babies. I LOVE this vet!

After having a horrible experience at another vet, we brought our dog here for vaccinations. From the minute you walk in their door you notice the difference. The office manager on the phone listened to my concerns, the front staff greeted me immediately and the tech and Vet was so patient and understanding. This place is amazing. Our cat Lilly was really sick on a Sunday. Not knowing what to do, we took her to an animal hospital in Scottsdale who offered us their "gold" package to the tune of $4000. We don't have $4000 so we decided to let them hydrate her and took her home and prayed she would be alive the next morning. The next morning we took our Lilly to North Scottsdale Animal Hospital and they were wonderful. Dr Truppe carefully examined her and recommended more hydration and some blood tests to see what was going on (all at affordable prices). That same night he called with results and recommended antibiotics and another medication to make her feel better. Two days later he called to see how she was doing. What compassion this place has. Lilly is feeling better and doing much better. If we could give them more than five stars, we would. We thank them so much for caring and helping us through this and would highly recommend them for your pet care.
