Both Dr. Kashman and Dr. Lawrence are very helpful and kind. My dog started coughing and they gave me an appointment immediately and started a treatment plan. My dog has had her spay successfully at the clinic. Their assistant Danny is super kind and helpful also. Wonderful team and clinic.

Dr Lawrence was so nice, met her for the first time and she put my big boy in ease.I also had his nails trimmed and the groomer and Danny were amazing. I didn’t hear one sound from him. To say he’s a big baby is understatement.

We were referred by a nearby animal hospital and I thought it was a little far but my son insisted we go here for our sick doggie and it was a very good decision. The tech was very kind and compassionate and our dog was very comfortable with him. The Dr was really nice and very accommodating to our lack of funds. He helped us stay in our price range by narrowing down the expenses to the most important treatments for getting our guy back to his old self and let us know the breakdown before anything was started which I appreciate greatly. I'm very happy with the way we were treated and especially happy that our dog was comfortable and taken care of. Rocky is all better now and my son feels relieved to have gotten him to see a doctor. These people are the best and we will be returning customers in the future. Thank you all for your kindness.

Our pup is a little challenging because of anxiety around new people, so we have been searching for a Vet Service that can care for her with patience and understanding. From the Front Desk to the Tech to the Vet - everyone was completely understanding of her 'personality' and by the time we left after her first visit, she wasn't ven shaking. Brought my dog here after they were recommended by a friend. We drove over 30 minutes for our appointments, but it was worth getting my shepherd mix's fistula's under control (thanks, Dr. Starr!). The office is friendly, organized, and willing to work with you to provide the best and most economical path forward. Now that we have a long term solution, we've decided to move vets to somewhere closer to home.

Absolute worst. Only thing this place is good for is giving you a printout of the cost of procedures. I stuck with them for two years to my dogs detriment. They did not take the time to talk to me about possibilities related to my dog’s recurring condition, just told me colitis, stress caused. Prescribed antibiotics even though there was no evidence of a bacterial infection, checked for parasites, even though another vet in the same clinic said older dogs almost never have parasites, wanted blood test done every 6 weeks to update ?? Really? I have not one good thing to say except the front office staff was polite. Find somewhere else. Im glad I decided to change clinics and found an amazing vet who listens to me, answers my questions, and gives me all my options.

Staff is always friendly and so helpful. Dr. Casey clearly cares a great deal about animals and really loves each one that comes in. When we had to put down our first dog from cancer, the staff were supportive, sweet and genuinely cared. They took great care of us and made the transition as easy, peaceful and painless as possible. The love they showed cannot be matched, especially in such a hard moment. I love them and how thorough they all are. Each staff member has been amazing. No complaints. I recommend them all the time and will continue to do so!

I’m new to the Scottsdale area and have a cat, Jack, with some health issues so finding a reliable vet was important to me. I’m so happy I found McDowell Mountain Animal Hospital! I went to take my cat for a standard routine visit and to also check out this place out to see if they were any good - they beat my expectations! After the 1st visit I had to go back to make sure that Jack’s treatment was going well. On both of my visits, the vets took time out of their day to talk to me and really answer my questions (I usually have a lot lol), and ensure that I was leaving there more knowledgeable about my cat’s health than before. I know that I’m getting exceptional care for my animals and that they really care about them! They love what they do, and it shows. I feel as though my cats are in amazing hands here, and I trust them already!

Overall experience was very positive. Very detailed in the explanations provided to me by the vet and the entire staff. Super friendly and polite service and everyone treated my pup with love and care. Not to mention the prices were very reasonable. I live in central Phoenix but will be happy to make the drive over to have you all as the primary care providers for my furry kids. Thanks again!

I was very happy to have a next day appointment for my sick dog. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.At the appointment, everyone was friendly and efficient. The vet talked me through everything in a very thorough, informative manner. I appreciate that no one suggested un-needed tests. The knowledge that they knew what was wrong and prescribed meds in a prompt manner was very much appreciated!

I have been coming to McDowell Mountain Animal Hospital for years! I moved away and received disturbing information regarding one of my rescues. I decided to go back to a clinic I trusted. Dr. Tressa examined our pup and shared that she didn’t see the issues that was described to me. It was a relief to know my pup was not in pain. We discussed a plan for Gigi going forward and I left feeling so much better than when I walked in. Thank you ALL for your excellent care of our furry babies. We appreciate you!!!!

Something has changed.I've been taking my animal here for many years, and usually, the hospital calls the next business day to see how the furbaby is doing if something was done. For instance, once mine had stickers in the paw & the next day they called to see how they were doing. That didn't happen this time.They also are pushing Purina products now, which is concerning.Some of the front desk people are sour, there is a female there & she is sweet & helpful, but the others look like they'd love to be anywhere but there. What is the quality of the work place?I've started looking for a new vet.

The WHOLE team is absolutely incredible. My animals ALWAYS feel loved and like their the only patients in the whole office. Dr. Tressa is beyond knowledgeable and so incredibly patient. My animals enjoy going there and that's my favorite part. Expectations are always exceeded. This should be your vet office.

Buyer beware.I’ve lived in the valley for 31 years and I've only had two vets - Dr. Allan Eads of Kaibab (retired) and Dr. Casey at McDowell Animal Hospital. Dr. Casey is awesome. One of the many vets that were trained over the many years by Dr. Eads.Dr. Casey goes out of her way to help her clients. My girl Rosie has been through more illnesses and strange diseases in the past 2 years than most humans have in a lifetime. Dr. Casey personally calls and emails and checks in regularly to see how Rosie is doing. Even during maternity leave she was on the job directing treatments.None of my personal doctors have ever treated me with the concern and personal care that this animal doctor shows her patients.She is awesome! The entire staff at McDowell Mountain Animal Hospital are awesome!

He knows when it's time to go visit the vet and can't sit still out of excitement. I know each and every one of the people that work there truly care about each patient. My 2 dogs always receive top notch care at McDowell Mountain Animal Hospital. Dr. Beveridge was the one vet who finally found a treatment that worked for my incontinent senior dog. Trueth is one of the best groomers I have ever had groom my dogs. Having regular grooming schedule keeps my dogs smelling and looking their best. The front office staff is friendly, professional, and helpful. I highly recommend McDowell Mountain Animal Hospital!

Even though I did not see the Vet face to face, her voice was very soothing and calming; and I like the fact that she took the time to speak to me throughout the day without me prompting her or calling there. They kept me very informed of Charlie and what was going on with him. From the moment I called on the phone, meeting with the vet tech to drop him off, it was all a smooth transition and put my worries at ease.

Typically we have had good experiences here but not as of recent. We were running out of prescription cat food and called to see if they had any. The person I spoke with informed me that they did not ever carry this cat food even though I purchased my last bag from them. Plan B was to find it online which I did but the food required authorization from a vet. McDowell Mountain Animal Hospital rejected the order insisting we needed to go in for a vet visit in order for us to continue with this food. At this point we have one day rations of food. Fortunately, 1 store locally (Petsmart) carried the prescription food. I ordered it online for pickup but this also required vet authorization. Plan C and my third purchase was successful and I used my valid and non-expired prescription card. Would you continue be a customer after this treatment?

The vets and full team at McDowell Mountain animal Hospital are so loving and professional and full of tips and great information to help keep my Westie comfortable and well! They came up with creative solutions to help his food allergy, and to diagnose some unusual nutrient deficiencies that help to return him to full weight and spry movements even at 14!
