I have know Sean for some time and I reached out to him for help with my dog Mylo, he developed a skin condition and I took him to vet and she just said oh its just a seasonal skin alergy. Vet visit and meds and big bottle of medicated shampoo that was 35 dollars. None of it helped. Sean asked what food he was on and told him and I stopped. He's been on zsignature for two weeks now and his skin condition is clearing up. Thanks Sean. From mylo and myself

I am frustrated and defeated. 2 weeks ago we took our German Shepard here right when they opened in the morning to get groomed, and the next morning he was extremely lethargic, would not eat, and was not acting like himself. We ended up taking him to the emergency vet the next day and upon examination the vet found he had a 107 degree fever (101-102 is normal in dogs per our vet) and painful pus-filled boils starting from his head and all down his back. He was diagnosed with post grooming furunculosis (a word of caution if googling because images online are graphic). $1000 dollars later and a treatment of steroids and specialty mail-in antibiotics and he is slowly getting better, but we are very upset and frustrated.I called last week to inform them of what happened to my dog and to relay from my vet that aggressive brushing in addition to any expired shampoo, tools that were not cleaned properly or used in conjunction with other dogs likely caused it and that they should warn their other customers who got their dogs groomed that same day what happened. All I got was a weak “sorry that happened” and the owner would call me to help rectify this situation.That being said, all we are looking for is accountability from the owner but another week later and still no call. I wanted to support this small business, but I am tired and also have a newborn baby at home to take care of. So in short, a word of caution to anyone who brings their dogs here for grooming, because we will not be going back.

Furrballz is amazing! I’ve always had a hard time finding a groomer for my anxious dog, and they do an amazing job every time and show him lots of love. He always walks out happy. The store also has lots of great healthy treats and food options for your pets. Definitely a 10/10 neighborhood find!

Highly recommend Furrballz. All of the staff was so friendly and knowledgeable. Our dog is a rescue and can be nervous. I really appreciated they took time to get acquainted with him. He looked great after his groom and his fur feels so nice and soft. To me, it says a lot that he did not seemed stressed afterwards which tells me what good care he received. Thank you to everyone at Furrballz we will definitely be back.

If you’re looking for a groomer who will take the time to get to know your dog and give an amazing haircut…I highly recommend James O at furball‘s up in North Scottsdale. It was my first visit and I brought in my cute little Grandpup. He was loaded with burrs from his morning walk. Furrballz still took him with a smile on their faces even though I’d only have the time to pick off half of these burrs.James was the groomer working on my Grandpup. He took the time to listen to what I was wanting. I showed a few pictures of the best haircuts he had had over the years. James nailed it! Such a great experience with easy parking, a clean/beautiful well stocked retail store, easy checkout, friendly faces and the perfect haircut.Most of all, it was so great because my Grandpup wasn’t trembling when I dropped him off, nor when I picked him up. He seems so calm and happy as my previous dog grooming salon was a bit chaotic and it always freaked out my little guy out. Thank you James O at Furrballz!

I love the owner and staff at Furrballz! They carry high quality food and treats for my two big dogs, and offer amazing grooming services. My 90lb male Ridgeback HATES getting his nails trimmed, but they were able to get it done without a muzzle. I appreciate the low stress environment, and the helpful insights regarding dog nutrition / supplements. So glad they moved into the neighborhood!

What a wonderful shop with such helpful friendly staff. I had my Cavalier King Charles Spaniel groomed there. My dog has Dye eye syndrome. The groomer was very careful with her eyes and she was groomed beautifully when I picked her up.

Their GROOMING services are a CUT above the rest!I’m so impressed by the exceptional quality of everything in the store, including the gentlemen who work there.The owner, Sean, is incredibly knowledgeable about “everything dogs” (and I’m sure cats). He, Jeff & Michael are so genuine and friendly. And the groomer, James, is the Dog Whisperer (only more caring with years of experience in grooming)!I have two Yorkshire Terriers, but the male is a Yorkshire Terror when it comes to having his nails cut. Previous groomers found it extremely difficult (if not impossible) to cut his nails, and never in the past could a groomer file his nails.It seemed my only option was to have our vet sedate him to clip his nails, and THEN I happened to go into Furrballz (just to get some healthy dog treats & toys). Wow, was I amazed by how different and special this place was, and I noticed that they did grooming. Well, Sean let me see the awesome grooming area, and after he said the following, I was jumping for joy that I had found the most amazing grooming center ever.Furrballz does not put your pet(s) in a kennel before or after grooming. (They plan enough time for each appointment for your pet to be the only one there getting their full attention & love.)They do not put a leash around their neck; they just hold them. (Well, in the case of my female dog and others, James just gently holds their face, etc., like a true pro.)Both of my doggies would get to take their bath together. (I didn’t even have to say that’s what makes them comfortable; Sean just knew.)The clincher: The pricing is the same as other places, and you get 20% off of treats & toys at the time of grooming. (So, yes, I got some adorable dental chews in the shapes of porcupines & ‘gaters, and my dogs were happy for hours after we got home.)Needless to say, when I picked up my Yorkies, they were BE-A-UTIFUL, and when I asked Sean and James how the dogs reacted, they were 100% honest. That was so refreshing to be able to tell/know that these guys are not only the best, but that they will share the details with me.I know with 110% certainty that my dogs have never been treated so well. (And look at their cute little pictures. … “That moment when you take hundreds of photos of your dogs, cuz they’re just so dog gone cute.”)

My dogs recently got diagonised with stage 2 renal failure. I bought some dog food the vet recommended. I gave it to my dogs, and they kept looking at me like "is this really what you are about to give me?" I just knew that there HAS to be something better after my pets were side eyeing me after feeding them that food.I walked into this store discouraged at what I was going to purchase. I spoke with the team and told them my situation im in with my fur friends. Sean pointed out to me that some of the ingredients in the dog food is a full carbohydrate diet when they could be on an all natural diet. Sean & his team pointed out a couple of products for my pets needs.I took home the products and made it for my pets & they could not be happier!! They ate it all up and are no longer left disappointed! Thank you, Sean & your staff for your expertise!!

Love love love the super nice staff and the selection. Will always support small businesses that actually care about ingredients and your pets well-being. Our kitty loves to eat and we love the healthy food for her so we can keep her around for a long long long time. Definitely a great place to check out if you love your cats and dogs. This place is the perfect neighborhood pet store! The owner and his colleagues are extremely welcoming and clearly have a passion for pets! I take my dog in here and he is treated like royalty. The attention, professional input and pure down to earth vibes are perfect. The food selection is HIGH GRADE! I hadn't been able to find the right groomer for 3 years. I saw their sign on FLW and made my husband circle back. Michael and Sean were friendly and welcoming to their newly opened store. Monday Ruth had her first grooming with James who listened to what I wanted - to look like a Cockapoo! He said she needs to grow out some for further shaping, but she already looks like a new girl! Plus Michael gave me great suggestions on diet and food. I highly recommend Furrballz!

As a local animal rescue we are often in need of professional grooming for some pretty extreme cases. We often pick up dogs who are dirty, unkempt and matted beyond belief. Furrballz is always great in accommodating our needs and making our animals look beautiful and feel confident in their journey to finding their forever home! I stopped here on a whim hike running errands far away from my house. They guys sold me some kitty litter that I’d never heard of and was pretty sure was just overpriced and I’d never buy it again. I was WRONG! It’s the best litter ever and I really hope they open a place downtown so I can continue to support them. The shop was clean and organized and had tons of things I’d never seen before. Shop local!
