0 stars!! If they took the meanest, rudest people in Scottsdale and put them all in one place it would be at this Frys. I have never encountered such awful employees in my life. I have worked in customer service for over 10 years and if I ever acted the way some of their employees do I would have been fired. Absolutely appalling. I used to love going to Frys but I now understand why so many people do online pickup

I've been shopping at this location for over 12 years, I can't say enough good things about this place. The people working the self checkout are always nice and helpful. Store has always been very clean and well stocked.

This location is so NICE 😊 super clean and the staff is so friendly and welcoming. They have everything you need. Food, gift cards, pharmacy, drinks, snacks, organic food, gluten free choices, and tons of great gift ideas. And super clean bathrooms

5 Stars for KEVIN who works at the Customer Service Desk. I was there last couple times this past week and needed old newspapers and Kevin went out of his way to find some for us. He even called the back to get us more. Kevin knows how to go above and beyond for his customers. He is always smiling and we see him helping out his fellow co workers in other departments. We have always loved coming to this store but Kevin always makes it an even better experience.

Wow, people at this store don't want to do their job!! They give an attitude to the self-checkout customers then ask accusing questions...give my coupons to clerk, I had one that didn't work because I didn't see it specifically said chicken tenders for the coupon to work, said I was so sorry but she gave me such an attitude...should have asked her "oh, am I doing your job badly?", same lady with long grey hair in a ponytail with glasses has an attitude every time she has had to "help" me do her job like handing coupons to her...this checker specifically just sucks

SCANNING INACCURACY PLUS ARGUMENTATIVE EMPLOYEE “ALARABY”:May 9, 2023 at 5:19 p.m. (receipt scan time) I went to self check-out at the Fry’s at Hayden Road and Thompson Peak Parkway. The scanned price per pound on the white onions was wrong. When I asked “Alaraby” (customer service employee at self checkout ) for help, she argued with me that I was wrong. I offered to take her to the Fry’s sale sign posted in front of the item which stated 99 cents per pound. She raised her voice to me and refused again. I then put the item aside to not buy and she demanded I give it to her!I have been shopping at this store location for over 4 years. This Fry’s frequently has scanning inaccuracies. However, never has an employee refused to correct the error and raised her voice to me as “Alaraby” did.

Manager is not people/dog friendly, even if your dog is a service dog he will kick you out.He would rather make a snarky remark when you bag your own groceries instead of helping out.He need to be replaced.

I had a horrible experience at this fry’s location. I’m on Instacart worker doing late night deliveries. I arrived at this fry’s location 25 minutes before closing and as soon as I entered the store Manger Makayla began to rush me. She started following me around the store while I was picking items for my customer and announcing through the intercom multiple times that they are closing. I am well aware of the store hours and was going as fast as I could. There were no other customers in the store so her behavior of following me around and announcing closing hours was unprofessional and unnecessary. I did not feel comfortable from the moment I walked. If I arrive at the store before closing I should be able to complete my shopping in peace without any interruptions.

I worked there for 3 weeks and never received a name badge or the famous black apron. Lucy never checked to see if I needed anything and she was my direct supervisor. I was fired for having the flu. They don't take care of their people.

There is such an obnoxious old lady that works the self checkout, constantly looking for reasons not to accept coupons. Next hard time she gives me, I'm leaving everything at the register and walking out for good.

We love the store and do 80% of our shopping here. Today we utilized the self check out and came across a very rude and unprofessional employee by the name of Teresa. Luckily the manager Patricia was able to assist and get us moving and check out.

I just want to say Crystal and Joshua are amazing he was soo happy to be working and she is just soo sweet, not only did they make my checkout experience so enjoyable but I definitely left with a smile on my face because of this dynamic duo, love how big the store is and LOVE the dairy free options they have as well. Everyone just seems so nice. Can’t wait to come back and hopefully get Crystal and Joshua!!

I have a frys that’s two miles from my house but I will drive the extra 5 minutes to this one because the isles are wider and have had an overall better experience at this one in terms of staff. They are always pleasant

Don’t shop here. Place is a dump and way under staffed. On several occasions I have bough items and realized the package had been opened. One of the items was medicine. Long wait times to check out. Manager on duty never once apologized for open product. One time I spilled pine sol all over me when I picked it up out of my basket to scan in self checkout. She never once apologized or offered any sort of solution. She just told me to “talk to Billy” What a joke. Joe on the other hand was very helpful.

I’m guessing they’re cheap as hell here because this place is extremely understaffed in comparison with the Safeway up the street. Feel awful for the employees who have to deal with such critical understaffing. Won’t be back. Should cut some of the 18 million dollar salary the CEO gets and pay a more competitive wage to attract talent.

I just bought new batteries at fries and they were all corroded. With receipt in hand really had a hassle with the return. Obviously no one wanted to help me including the lady at the self-service gray hair French braid. I know it’s hard to get good help but you shouldn’t settle for less.

This location is in need of 2-3 self checkout conveyor belts (for example the location at Camelback Colonnade) to help checkout speeds.My wife and I bring our own bags, with me at the end bagging our groceries as we go. I always let the bagger know if one is posted, and they help another lane in the meantime. When we visited this location, the bagger forced herself into my personal space and wouldn't allow me to bag my own items.This was very uncomfortable and she did not bag items well. Please train staff to leave customers alone if they are bagging their own items.

clean, organized, and they actually have staff at the check out. The deli is slow but they do have staff. Worth the drive for me to get what we need. this store has 'allergy' safe food which many frys dont seem to have anymore. (gluten free, nut free, dairy free, etc)

Great store with phenomenal customer service. Elvis the Butcher was awesome and provided the best cuts for my family and I and our Sunday night cook out. Elvis is a tremendous asset to the organization and we appreciate his help. I’d like to also recognize Ester in Customer Service, who works at the front. She is always so helpful and takes a lot of pride in her role. Ester is also a tremendous asset to Frys. Thank you!

I cannot tell you how I will miss this Fry's! I moved last week and my new Fry's is just "meh." This Fry's was a pleasure to go to every week. Always clean, organized, helpful staff and more.Update 6/4/2023: I moved back into the area around 4 years ago. I'm back to using this Fry's Food. It's still as great as ever! The people are so wonderful.

I drove all the way here to find a better Frys than my neighborhood. Nice but not much different, probably a little worse. I did find a lot of the food like potatos in the bags were wet? Lots of refrigerated food look like it had been frozen then quickly thawed, then re-refrigerated so it ruined the food making it look soggy and gross.I could shop at Walmart for that. Then the cashier Sarah practically threw my single carbonated drinks down the conveyor belt. I almost yelled out what the hell?!!! That has never in my life happened. Anyone knows it would cause the drink to explode upon opening. Most cashiers would ask if you wanted it and set it up on the shelf before bagging it. From the sounds of her conversation with the bagger, she was more in a hurry to meet up with her boyfriend though.

RUDE! INCOMPETENT! UNDERSTAFFED!what are you doing? hiring people straight off the street? no customer service experience? no pharmacist experience??? I have a life threatening condition and NEED my medicine. It was sent in, 7 HOURS LATER it was still not ready and I was told it would not be ready until the next day. When i spoke with pharmacist she was nothing but rude. Understand they are short staffed but maybe hire more competent people??? Never going back to this pharmacy again. The rest of the staff aren’t much better. Whoever answered the main phone was also rude, and very impatient. This is not OK, Kroeger!!

The store constantly has stock issues when items are on sale. Multiple times this year alone this store has had no stock of soda or steak when they're on sale, but other Fry's libations have plenty. I finally complained about it today and they said it's a vendor issue, so I guess this location don't believe in accountability.Then then I went to self-checkout today, I kept hitting the "Call Attendant"button for assistance with an incorrect item prince and the guy kept clearing the alley without even coming over and asking what the issue was.I love that this Fry's is so close to where I live, but if they can't stock big items that I go in for, I'm going to start going to other nearby Fry's locations which do.
