I'm not sure how I feel about this, I have a schnauzer that's 1 and half years old, constantly barking and jumping at the schnauzers next door. I got the BarxBuddy out tonight did some good, and then not so good. He would continue to bark and jump at the fence. Now in the house, I have used it twice because the dogs next door are barking, he started barking, I picked up the BarxBuddy, he ran. He's not barking, and he's not arguing with me to go outside. I will continue to use this device, I will keep you all updated on progress. The other 2 schnauzers are doing pretty good with the device.Their names are Hunter James, ( my wheaten boy), Savannah Grace ( black and white parti) and Millie Louise my Liver Pepper

I've got a Chihuahua-pug mix who barks at pretty much everything. Since using the BarxBuddy ultrasonic training device, she's calmed down significantly. I allow her to bark for a few seconds, then I press the button and tell her to be quiet. I love how the device gets her attention and stops her in her tracks! Even when I don't use it, she listens better, and this is something I've struggled with for eight years -- getting this diva to listen to me!

I am only giving one star because I can’t give zero. This company doesn’t stand behind their product. I asked the company to cancel my order before it was received because of negative feedback from another customer. Of course, they said once it ships, they can’t cancel. I had to travel in the interim of receiving this product. By the time I returned, 30 days had passed. I used the product in the interim of trying to return it. The product was terrible. After a few clicks, the dog is used to the sound and ignores the command and doesn’t cease with the unwanted behavior. They have repeatedly refused to take this product back. So a word to the wise, DO NOT BELIEVE THIS COMPANY’s PRODUCT assertions. This product is terrible and definitely not worth the money! I also noticed that they only post positive reviews on their site. It’s probably typical company culture to post reviews written by someone who’s affiliated in some way with this product other than of being a real consumer. I can’t be made while in this but hopefully I can prevent the next person from wasting their money.

SAVE your money! . I don’t know how this product got several 5 stars my guess is they are paid. My Cairn Terrior looked at me like “you’ve GOT to be kidding me!” I followed the instructions and the BarkX did absolutely NOTHING!

Our dog used to bark at any type of animal or cartoon on TV. It was becoming increaingly worse and more and more frequent. We had tried numerous methods to stop it woth no success. After using the BaxBuddy just 3 times sayjng “quiet” when we used it, this habit was broken. Now he doesn’t even bother with the TV and if something catches his eye and he jumps up, we just say quiet and he goes and lays back down. This device was a game changer!

My neighbor let me borrow her Barx buddy. It worked the very first time we tried it. The dog still loves us and I highly recommend it. There are at least a half a dozen people in the condominium that of already seen the effect on my dog and have purchased one for their dogs. The ultrasonic and laser correction is amazing. It corrected bad behavior from barking when people came into our home and also aggressive behavior toward other dogs. He was a rescue dog we had him for a year and this corrected all the bad behavior in 2 1/2 weeks.

Update #2 : I am so furious with this company. I do not recommend them, their customer service, or billing practices. If I could give a negative star rating I would.Not only did I not receive my order, they have now refused to refund my money. Instead they sent an Item of their choice.TOTAL SCAM!-----Update #1Well, I disputed the charges. After my bank contacted their bank, I suddenly received a shipping notice. It arrived today. I ordered the Barx Buddy Barking device and received a Interactive Pet Toy Ball. So not what I ordered. Guess they decided to just ship whatever. So disappointed and frustrating. TOTALLY SCAMMED ON THIS ONE.....---Original postWish I had checked the reviews for customer service. Order has not shipped. No response to emails. I will be disputing charges and filing complaint with BBB.

I ordered a busy ball that worked for only 1 hour. My dog was playing with it, and it popped open and would not stay shut. I tried emailing the company numerous times, with no response. I was able to reach them by phone and they said only $39.99 would be refunded if I send it back to them at my expense, I paid $45 (before s & h). They said I could keep it for a $10 refund. What a joke! Not worth the hassle.

This place is entirely a scam. I had the exact same experience when I attempted to order my busy balls from them as well. it took almost two months and they certainly took my money quickly but when the "product" arrived it was the voice training devices which are not only not what I ordered but are very dangerous to dogs. Worst customer service ever. they said they would not send out the new order until I returned the wrong product but when I went to try to ship it....nothing but problems as the warehouse seems to be a mysterious place without a proper address that any of the courier services recognizes. DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THESE PEOPLE. Buy your dog a gift from a brick and mortar instead.

Ended up having to return due to this being way too powerful for my dogs ears! He hid and could not come out. They refunded the cost of the device in a quick manner, however, they have not yet refunded the warranty cost! Disappointed to say the least! Won’t buy from again!

I ordered barx ball for $39 dollars, plus $9 dollars delivery and $3 for extended warranty. The ball was not durable for my 86 pounds German Shephard, so I requested a refund. They said they would refund the cost of the ball, but they wouldn't refund the delivery cost and worst, wouldn't refund the extended warranty. I can understand not refunding the delivery cost, but if the item is returned for a refund and it wasn't broken or damaged why wouldn't the extended warranty cost be refunded too? The only explanation given was, "that just our policy."Cheap, but expressive products, and poor and shady customer service. Find another company to patronize!

I purchsed the Barxbuddy with hopes that it would help with excessive baring and general behavior issues. It worked for a couple of weeks, I dropped the Barxbuddy from about hip height and now it doesn't work. The hand loop is too small for my hands. The issue is not about the product but customer service, they offer no way to repair the product only that it is not their problem that I dropped it. I would think a product designed to train a dog would be able to withstand a small drop to the ground. They offer no assistance. I will be purchasing a different brand and recommend others to do the same.

I was excited when I saw the an ad online that BarxBuddy Busy Ball was on sale at 55% off. So I went to the company website and ordered one ball for $39.95 and added the extended warranty for $7.99. I need to add that they sell other products but the Busy Ball was the only product offered on the link I used to place my order. The payment was debited from my bank account immediately but I did not receive an order confirmation until 3 days later. Then after waiting for 2 weeks I still hadn’t received a notice that my order had shipped so I emailed them and asked what was going on. I was told the ports in Los Angeles were backed up and as soon as they received their product it would ship. Another week went by then finally I received an email that my order had shipped and a tracking number for DHL was provided. The tracking number didn’t exist when I tried to look it up. I waited a couple of days and it still didn’t exist so I sent another email, the next day I received a response with a different tracking number. Before I tried the new tracking number I received a call from a family member that my order had been delivered. I was out of town because I had to have emergency eye surgery and could not travel home. I assumed it was the ball that had been delivered since it was from BarxBuddy. I got home a week later, when I saw the package I knew it wasn’t the ball I ordered, opening it confirmed it was not the ball I ordered. I tried to call customer service which is a Los Angeles number and got a recording stating it was after business hours which were until 8:00pm, that was odd because I’m in the same time zone as LA and it was 1:30pm. They have a Los Angeles phone number that must operate on eastern time and they are located in Phoenix, and their products ship from China despite the website saying made in the USA. I sent an email explaining the wrong item was sent and the next day received an email stating I had ordered an Ultrasonic Training Device but that wasn’t possible because there were no other products offered on the site I placed my order. I emailed back and said I wanted to return it because regardless of what I was told I did not order the training device. I stated I wanted a refund for the device and the extended warranty, I was given a return authorization number and sent the item back. When I provided the tracking number for the return I was refunded for the return but not the $7.99 for the warranty which was useless because I didn’t have an item that needed a warranty. I called customer service and was told they don’t refund the cost of the warranty even if the item was unopened. It wasn’t even the correct item that was sent to me. They would not refund the shipping they charged to send me the incorrect item or the shipping cost to return the incorrect item. Their mistake (and mine for thinking they are a reputable company) cost me $20.94 between shipping both ways and the extended warranty. I would not recommend buying anything from this company. One of the emails they sent me only said “Please keep in mind we are very busy”.I have no idea why they sent it other than they must be too busy to send out the correct item. They have terrible customer service and will not admit to their mistake.

Don't waste your time or energy. This tool will crush and hope, dreams or aspirations you have and can not meet the lowest of expectations. This had zero impact on my overexcited 10-month-old Rottweiler puppy.Please look at the percentage of 1-star reviews. I wish I had. Don't make the same mistakes we did. This product does not work.

This product worked so well within the first two uses my chihuahua stopped barking when in the backyard! And stopped the neighbours dog from barking as well!Only problem is then she didn't want to go outside the next time lol ... I think with some positive reinforcement and more training she will adjust just fine. Great product highly recommended!

It looks great on tv. Dogs reacting while the button was pushed. However, my dog did not respond to it at all. He behaved as if he didn't even here it. He showed no signs of reacting at all. Unfortunately, I had to return the item, they were very courteous, polite and understanding for my return of merchandise. I do recommend the item for other animals. My dog just happens to be one that requires humane redirecting of behaviors. He is doing better with commands and we are learning hand commands. Due to he's a Shepard and he is a little slow, unknown if it's his breeding or just stubbornness that it takes longer to learn. But he's learning none the less.

I doubt if this review will be seen by the public because BarxBuddy is an online retailer with no access to anyone who owns it. All you get when you call is some customer service organization that doesn't even say "BarxBuddy" when they answer the phone. I bought one in September with a flashlight. It came out of the package with the light turned on but no light, and a dead 9-volt battery. I had to pay to return it and almost a month later have not received a refund. It's been more than the 14 banking days I was told it would take. I'm never buying from an unknown online only store again. P.S. After a month of waiting for a return, I finally received it. It was only the original cost of the product. No refund for their shipping fee of almost $8.00 and my cost to return it which was $17.00. I'm out $25 from this sham of a company. DO NOT BUY FROM BARXBUDDY.

Love this product. Took my dog to a trainer and suggested a vibration collar. All that did was Amp her up. Went to barxbuddy and now she complies. I just have to reach/hold it and she submits. I have had several dogs and this is the best training device I've seen.

The worst customer service ever. I ordered the Barxball on 11/19 and I still have not received. I have emailed numerous times to get tracking information and only after filing a dispute with my credit card company did I finally receive a tracking number. I have tracked the shipment and it hasn’t moved in 6 days. I personally feel this company is a sham and would not recommend anyone order anything from them. I plan to file a complaint with the BBB as well. Buyer beware is my advice

I wish I could give this 0 stars. I bought product and warranty. The device was awful as it disturbed all our dogs not just the 1 we bought it for. Decided to return it. They would only refund the product, not the warranty. I explained to CS that I had no product to warranty. Their position was too bad so sad. Not refundable. Read the fine print. Terrible product and worse customer service. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.

I bought the interactive ball as a gift for my grand dog. The first time we left the house and let him have the ball for entertainment the ball opened up and allowed the dog to chew the threads so it can not be screwed back together. I sent e mail with pictures. No response from support@barxbuddy.

I lent my new Barxbuddy to my neighbor to try, liked it so much he kept it. So I ordered another one, fast delivery. It didn't work. Called them and explained and was told to send it back, gave me all the info I needed to return and would send me a new one. The gentleman I spoke with was so nice and courteous. I would definitely recommend this company too everyone.

This device has been a miracle! I have an Australian shepherd mix. I've had him since he was 9 weeks old and he turned a year October 5th. He jumps, bites, barks, etc... when he is overstimulated he's very stubborn. He's very intelligent and has learned a lot but I was on the verge of having to re-home him. It was breaking my heart. I bought the BarxBuddy and he responded immediately to it. Most of the time I don't even push the button, just have to reach for it. I praise him when he listens and he is really doing well. I highly recommend this training device. You have to keep in mind that the ultrasonic sound doesn't work on all dogs. I took the chance and thank God it worked on mine. He's a herding dog and it has even stopped him from herding my cats. We don't have to surrender him now and I'm so very grateful for that.

This is a total waste of time, money and energy! I ordered barxbuddy for my four month old Labrador. Oh it lights up and I can use it from five feet to right up his snout. He continues to bark and even thinks it’s a toy with lights blazing so he goes to bite it. I don’t know what breed this is successful with but usually labs are receptive to training. Don’t waste your money!!!

I just received the Barx Buddy this week. I have a mini dachshund who barks aggressively at every person who comes in the house, yard, neighborhood. I am happily shocked at how quickly she responds to this device. It does make her very uncomfortable so be careful not to use this too much. I am ordering more today!

Absolutely the worst customer service! I asked numerous times when my order was going to ship.When I asked for my money back, they all of a sudden had my item shipping to my city. A week later, the item is still in Arizona. I've had items from China come faster. It should take 4 days tops from where I live from Arizona.Wack!! Best invention EVER!! My two dogs barked incessantly at every person who came in the house and every noise they heard, no matter how much we tried we couldn't break them off it. I saw the advertisement for BarxBuddy and decided to give it a try. It worked miraculously the very first we used it. I was amazed! Highly recommend this product!

This thing is amazing!! I took it to Egypt with me to try on our neighbor's dog that never stop barking and street dogs as well. I could not believe how magic this device!! it did stop all these dogs from barking. they seamed to obey the command!! I recommend it 100%

I received the BarxBuddy Pet Nail Clippers in the mail in about 2 days after ordering. I was very impressed. The quality of these clippers are much better than I expected. My dogs will appreciate it. ;)
