Autumn the groomer left our dog in the tub shivering and yelping while walking around and taking the “walk in.” So if you have an appointment that doesn’t matter while the walk in get a priority while your dog is shivering in the tub. Jae the “manager” was making excuses as to why this behavior was okay. The groomers were walking around on the phones while our dog was shivering in the tub. Their excuse was that they have to take care of the walk ins too. We sat and watched our dog look at us shivering and crying. My fiancée went and asked the front if they shall sit in the tub for that long and she said no. Then they back tracked and said they have to wait, “while they help the walkin’s” even though they they were on the phone walking around and not taking care of a walk in. Childish all around.

Loved it here, I got my baby a walk in sanitary trim & nails trimmed the first time and plus did the self grooming service. Went here a second time and got a treat for her here too! Making this place my go-to now for her since she’s so well behaved (apparently) lol

Self wash station was so convenient. Brushes, soap, conditioner, cologne, towels, blow dryers. All included. Even an apron to keep you dry. All you need to bring is your dirty dog.

This place is great! The staff was helpful and so friendly. My only question is if my dog has so much hair, can you get more shampoo/conditioner or is there an up charge? I didn't have the chance to ask when I was there, but had a great experience and look forward to going back. Two paws up!

My doodles are usually groomed by a mobile groomer, but someone stole her truck and I last minute had to find new grooming for my boys. Bark if You’re Dirty was able to quickly accommodate me. Yesenia and Autumn groomed my guys and both of them did incredibly good jobs on them. It was a new situation for my dogs, so I’m sure it wasn’t easy. They turned out absolutely gorgeous! We love this place!! We have lived all over the country and gone to different groomers and while we are never complainers about a cut, we never got exactly what we were asking/ looking for until we came here! Sierra (hope that’s spelled correctly) is the best. We don’t like to get the traditional doodle cut for our little man, and this is the first place that has given us what we asked for. Thanks so much for listening and delivering. We moved about an hour out, but will 100% be making that trip when our doggo needs a quality groom.

For people that have dogs that you cannot take to a groomer, I highly recommend this place. The tubs are big and they furnish you with all the supplies that you need. My only complaint is they run out of warm water way early in the morning. I hate bathing my dog in cold water. Maybe come summer it will be better. I have been going to this location for over 3 years back when it was called something else.

I will never bring my dog to be groomed here again and I don’t recommend anyone does. It took them 4.5 hours to groom my dog. When I asked the man if they gave her potty breaks during this time he told me “no, we are not allowed to give dogs water or bathroom breaks” this is a case of animal cruelty and this will be reported. My dog is now dehydrated and is continually drinking water now that she’s home. In terms of your reply, still unacceptable. My dog was panting on the groomer table and was guzzling water when we got home for quite some time. It is common sense to give dogs water when they are in your care. Would you like being in a room for over 4 hours and not given even a sip of water? Oh and your 2-4 hour comment is wrong, she was at your place from 11 to 3:30, do the math

We had absolutely loved this place in the past. Taking our dog their for monthly nail clipping, getting her a cake for her bday etc…We had no issues until today. They were able to squeeze us in for an appointment same day and were ecstatic. She needed a grooming and we were so thankful she could get in. We got there checked in and she went into the room! All was well. She had her bath and was left in there as the groomer went to attend something else. Okay, understandable. I pride myself in being a very understanding individual and I know sometimes you must multitask. We then waited 5-10 mins and no one had came back for her. She was soaking wet and barking. I understand this is a public establishment and there are many things going on at once. Obviously many people view their dogs as a kid. So as a concerned “parent” I went to the front to ask if this was normal as she had never been groomed there before. She replied no not unless they’re doing a moisture treatment. I returned to the area feeling better. I thought that could be the case. I am not one to automatically assume the worst. I asked the groomer and she said no did you want that. I said no she just has been sitting in there for a while. She said a groom normally takes 3-4 hours. (Also understandable. I’m sure there are many dogs and much to do. And I would’ve been fine if she was dry, but she was sopping wet. we know our dog and she was shaking because she was cold. She has never shook from nervousness or new people.) I said okay I’m not comfortable with her sitting in the tub for this long can we have her back. (Keep in mind there were two workers up in the grooming area. I teach huge classrooms of kids so I know multitasking is tough but manageable) At this point the staff went into defense mode. Immediately, getting the manager involved. It appeared to be excuses and justifications as to why it was okay for her to sit in the tub for that long. Even if it may be “ok” for them it was not for us! What bothered me the most about the whole experience was the lack of accountability. When I brought my concern of her sitting she could have said “no problem I wouldn’t want her shaking let me take care of drying her etc..” you work with dogs and I’m sure owners want you to give them the same love they give them at home. The funny part was when we asked for her back there was time then to dry her and give her back. I digress, the lack of accountability and pushback we received from this is why I write this review. You already responded to my fiancée and I don’t need one here too. My advice would be to take into consideration how much people are protective of their animals and try (even if you don’t mean it) to show that same love as well, and do be able to take owners concerns understandably without becoming defensive. Lastly, we also encourage you to lead with grace for these dog parents and try to be a bit more understanding.

Just moved to the area and first time bringing my poms to bark if you’re dirty. So glad I did! Jannette was amazing. Met our requests and must have been super sweet and gentle with our pups because when I came to pick them up they were so relaxed and happy. They’re usually v stressy and nervous and I feel bad sending them to the groomers. Not anymore! Thank you Jannette! They look great- no more knots and soooo cuddly soft! We’ll be back to see ya :-)

We just left BIYD for the first time and will definitely be returning! Everyone was so friendly and nice to work with. We had our 4 month old bernedoodle groomed for the first time and her haircut turned out great! Before and after pics attached. Perla was our groomer and we will definitely request her next time. Awesome experience!

My dog, Victor, ADORES this place. He loves loves loves it every time we go in and even puts up with the baths when I’m too lazy to use my own tub at home. I have a velocity dryer and professional shampoo at home but I don’t have the nice lifted tubs they have. I don’t use their grooming services, aside from the self bathing area, but I’m sure they’re great. Prices on treats and food are reasonable and the staff is so friendly. 10/10, would recommend to any well behaved dog and pet parent. ❤️

Thank you to the awesome people here at Wag N Wash Scottsdale. It was my pups first haircut and I originally had an appt elsewhere which gave me a hassle before I even gave them my dog. I called here, they were able to take my pup right away, fantastic customer service, very friendly, and very pleased with the work done, not to mention half the price and double the service of the other grooming place! I'll definitely be coming back. A big thank you again to everyone at Wag N Wash!

We tried this place for the first time today. It was great, there were quite a few wash stations so there was no wait time. The employees helped and explained everything to us and were so kind! We came with both our dogs, and even got a nail trim for one of them after the bath. Cute doggie bakery too-- doggie pizza!

We were greeted by the sweetest young ladies who were extremely helpful since it was our first time for walk in grooming. Our Cowboy Corgi, Truffles looked absolutely amazing! 10/10 would recommend!

My elder Yorkie only goes to Bark if you’re dirty (previously wag n wash) and the staff and groomers always do a great job. Thanks to Autumn for shaving him down for summer with a cute Yorkie puppy head. Love it!

A Google search led me and my pooch (on vaca with me) to this store and I couldn't have been happier. Super helpful and friendly staff (dog people, go figure) answered questions, offered ideas and we're just great. I went back a second day for a quick bath and nail trim.

They took special Care of my Cherish and listened to all of my advice about her she's an older dog and has a little bit of trouble standing so they were very caring and she came out so soft and so pretty and happy. They are an extremely clean facility and nice people and their prices are very very reasonable.

We’ve been coming here for a year every two weeks and loved the ultimate self wash stations. It was a system that fed all the cleaning shampoo, conditioner, etc through the hose, mixing with the water automatically. So easy and worth the extra cost.Came back today and they no longer have the ultimate was but still charge the Premium price.Unfortunately it’s not worth the 14 mile drive for a self service dog wash I can get at several places closer to home for $5-$8 cheaper per dog for the same wash. Adds up with three dogs.Comment to their response:How can "The Same Wash Experience" be compared between a 4 step cleaning process and "Here is a bottle of watered down shampoo and conditioner"?
