I should have known better than to step foot in this Dollar General. The second I walked through the automatic doors, I was hit by a wave of stale air and the overwhelming scent of something vaguely citrus-y that failed to mask the underlying odor of neglect. The shelves were in disarray, with mismatched products crammed together haphazardly. Empty boxes and fallen merchandise littered the aisles, creating an obstacle course that would rival an Olympic gymnast's training ground.But the true horror show unfolded at the checkout. The cashier, a woman with a permanent scowl etched on her face, barely acknowledged my presence. When she finally did, her tone was curt and dismissive. Every question I asked was met with a sigh and an eye roll. The manager, who resembled a particularly grumpy bulldog, hovered behind her, radiating an aura of hostility so thick you could cut it with a plastic spork (which, by the way, was the utensil selection offered at this establishment).The final insult? As I was leaving, I tripped over a rogue shopping cart abandoned in the middle of the floor, sending a cascade of discount candy wrappers fluttering around my ankles. I fled the store, vowing never to return, vowing to write a scathing online review to warn others of the retail purgatory that awaited them.

I was surprised and pleased to see Dollar General giving a 20% Veteran discount. That is until I got home and realized this particular store is giving 9% lol. I spent 15.45 and got a whopping 1.10 discount. Why bother offering a discount if you are going to not actually give it.

I really love this store, I wish that they had less empty items on the shelves in grocery. Its not like the shelves are empty but, sometimes things are out of stock for too long of a time. I would believe this is probably a condition of the pandemic and supply and demand.The workers are amazing! They all work really hard and are quick to serve. The manager is very personable, and seems to make a point of making a personal connection with every customer.I'm sure if they don't have what you need he would do his best to aquire what he can as fast as possible.Overall a great place to shop.

It is pretty much our source for groceries along with the slightly pricier Family Dollar. Has as much selection crammed in as it can make space for. It is clean , incl bathroom. Some of the staff is a bit testy, Manager is sociable and helpful.

I like shopping here, because it has most things I need and the prices are low as well! The major complaint I have is, that one of the people in management always has a frown on her face and refuses to wear a name badge; so you can properly address her by her name! Not pleasant in that respect and sort of takes away from your shopping experience, and leaves a sour taste in your mouth! My biggest complaint and really my only complaint!

I never know exactly what is on sale because the store is not organized and sale signs are all over the place, not just on sale items. Seems like they are forever stocking the store leaving big trolleys in the isles blocking merchandise and the isle. Some employees are nice but then some are condensending and dismissive. I'd rather pay pennies more at a different store than to deal with this one.

The reason I don't give them 5stars is because after buying my ciggerttes here for quite some time I walk in upset about something in need of some smokes and they refused to sell to me my ciggerttes because I could not produce I.D. The store always seems a little out of sorts and disorganized. the employee's attitude could always be a bit better and I can't say I've ever had excellent service at the store. But since it's one of the only options in town for groceries and household items I will continue to shop there.

Nice place to shop but can be a little frustrating if you try to make a pruchess of tobacco and don't have I.D. They don't care if they seen you 30times and then go one day with no I.D. They will not sale to you at all without proper I.D

Clean and the staff is great. With christmas though it's a little unorganized but still easy to find what you need. From food to clothing to makeup too.

In San Manuel it's the meeting place. Just like going to the Post office, staff always greets you and always fun to be there!
