Nice, large, well kept, campground. Friendly and helpful staff. Crafts once a week was fun, rock painting!A bit remote for me but a good halfway point to stay on the way to Quartzsite.

Beautiful heated pool and hottub. Showers were always clean. Floors are always wet in bathrooms. Very nice and quiet. No real internet or TV. Good selection of DVDs.

This is a ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ KOA RV Park. The park is very well run & maintained. The grounds are very clean. The park has a large hot tub & a heated pool. Like the grounds, the hot tub & pool are very well maintained. Site rent is reasonable with electric billed separately. Rent & electric are $600ish/mo. Our site fit our 40’ RV, a 12x12 screen room, fenced area for the dog, and our car. When you combine this park with the rural, peaceful setting it’s like hitting a home run. One cool thing is a mountain to the east we call Monster Mountain. From late afternoon thru sunset the monster comes out. Edit 3/4/24 after staying there four months. The wifi is unreliable. I’m staying with 5 stars due to how well the park

Older RV park with outdated pedestals and quite a few older RVs in junky sites that look like they've been there for quite some time. The price, however, is as high as KOAs always are. This was just an overnight stop for us, so we did not use any amenities.

This is a camp ground and I absolutely love it. Quiet, clean, Mike the maintenance guy is amazing and goes out of his way to help. Manager and assistant are super friendly and helpful. There is no one at the desk Friday afternoon to Monday. That is a bit disturbing to me. However, it is very safe and I feel very comfortable. Love the pool, hot tub, tv room and other places here. Love that every camp spot has a little tree and a cactus garden.!! However it is 2 miles from the small town and the little restaurant within walking distance closes early. I will be back!!!Safety: I am camping alone and I feel very safeWalkability: Easy to walk around, all level ground. There is a door that leads to a quiet paved road to walk onRestrooms: Very clean and yes they can be lockedDog-friendliness: Dog friendlyPicnic area: Clean and there are plenty of them

It's kind of in the middle of nowhere. It's a great place if you want to ride ATVs - just go out the gate and you're there. Not too many other things to do. They have a pool, jacuzzi, club house, and game room. We were there at the end of May. It was 90s and dry during the day, but the evening was glorious. Warm with a nice breeze. If you sit it the shade it feels wonderful. Facilities are older but well-maintained. The individual shower rooms were nice; not much water pressure but plenty of hot water. Folks were friendly.

For 150 sites only 3 washers and 3 dryers that work, there are 4 of each. There are times that you dont even have that many available. One hot tub that holds 9 people.Traffic in and out all day. Highway noise all day.People that think you want to listen to their blaring music.Management turnover like water.Understaffed.Like living in a parking lot.

Great stay. Very clean park. Most friendly staff we have encountered so far at any KOA. Janet has an awesome staff working for her. They are always smiling and welcoming. Pool was always warm, and the hot tub feels great. Two thumbs up for Janet, Melissa, Mike and the rest of the staff. If we are in the area avain we will definetly be staying at the KOA in Salome, AZ.

Found this place by searching for warmer weather in February. A couple of restaurants / bar close by. Stockup on groceries and supplies before you get here, very small grocery in the area with limited selection. Train track across the hwy with several trains a day including one train at 2:15AM. Engineer doesn't blow the horn when passing through. 👍👍Nice mountain scenery all around this place. Cell phone service works okay around here.Walkability: One restaurant / bar within walking distance, beware, restaurant closes early.Noteworthy details: You're in the desert 🏜. If you want to ship a package or need a bank, be prepared to drive 54 miles one way. I googled "Walmart Near Me" and it was 104 miles away on Eastside of Phoenix, AZ.

No one in the office mid afternoon. Check in papers showed us where to park. Decent sized sites to fit our 40 ft 5th wheel. $57. Unisex shower / restrooms with access code. Beware, while you're in the shower, others can open the door as they all have the same code. I did not see an inside lock. NO hot water for the late afternoon shower.

Unlike other KOAs it seems to be primarily catering to full time resident trailer crowd. There's junk all over campsites, all belongings stored outside, plus a lot extra large tow trailers, ATVs, spilling into others' sites. There'll be other people's stuff, ATVs, trucks in your site.Trucks parked right in lanes blocking safe traffic. Smelly ATV right under your windows, picnic table over someone else's sewer pipe, tons of gas cans right behind your RV, dogs barking at night. Loud drunk people discussing their drinking in extremely loud voices, you don't want yourchildren to hear that. Most parks that house full time residents don't allow them to sprawl their junk and extra vehicles everywhere and require to keep sites clean, but not this one.Trailers in disrepair running some loud devices at all hours. I did not get reset. Constant mechanized noise, and not too far from me they were pressure-washing RV roof (!), it was like highway truck stop. Travelers, avoid this park, you will not get peaceful rest. They squeeze in overnight travelersright among noisy full time residents. The manager is hateful, nasty individual who lied to me that the park was full when I asked to move me to quieter site, while there were multiple empty sites standing. Luckily it was cold at night, because itlooked like a major party place. They better have good insurance becaus eif their full time residents' ATVs hit an RV (they back in dangerously nearly hitting your rig) theybetter be paying well for this. Check-in was horrible too, first they make you stand waiting forever (I missed important call),while chatting on the phone to "more important people", then they try to rush you. They claimed firmly I had no reservationwhile I had it through KOA website and also when I gave them my KOA membership number they kept claiming it belonged to other individual I never met, wouldn't admitthey put the card number incorrectly even though it was clearly written on a piece of paper. My last namewas too foreign for these biased people to check the system for the existing reservation (they found a reservationfor a non-minority person after me immediately)There're better parks in this area with less crowded situations.

This was one of the best campout trips for our group of off road enthusiasts. The facilities and ground are kept very clean. The hot tub is a fan favorite. There are fruit trees and beautiful roses. The management hosted Karaoke on Saturday night at the club house and we had a campground pot luck dinner on Friday. What a fantastic stay!

Our site was easily accessible, we used the showers and the laundry room. Both were very clean and well kept. The grounds are gravel and well groomed. Cute clean dog park, small but well lit. Would go back again.

We pulled in Friday afternoon, around 1:00, to find the office locked and our paperwork in a box outside the office. Our site had garbage on it that we moved. The trash cans were overflowing, even though there was only two other units on the entire property, which looked like a giant gravel parking lot, with absolutely no trees on the entire property, except near the buildings. When we were there, daytime temps were in the low 80's and night temps dipped to the 40's, and the pool was not heated. The office was closed the entire time we were there, so we couldn't ask about the pool. On Monday, the cook, who starts in a month, came by our site to tell us the manager needed us to complete our paperwork. We tried but the office was again closed. The manager left us voice messages to come complete our registration, but couldn't bother to stay open, during normal business hours. We were expected to accommodate her. We are the ones on vacation! We definitely will not go back.

Nice park. Gave it only 4 stars because there wasn't anyone to check us in at 2pm on a Saturday. Not a big deal except we have come to expect a friendly staff at KOA's and this was a bit of a let down. Outside of that, park was clean, well laid out, amenities were good and site was pretty level. Definitely would return.

We stopped as halfway point for our trip! Very clean and quiet facility. We liked that it offered stuff for kids, but it doesn't seem geared towards kids at all. Hours are 9 to 5 and 10 to 4 during summers. The kids were disappointed because we couldn't get any of the stuff for Pool table and games. Must be checked out before 5. Also we heard some trains around 3:45 a.m. Great place just not what we expected, pool was great and facilities were nice.

I posted comments with photos. Hubby and I were very pleased with this layover. Some choose to make this a winter waypoint. The section in front with 50 amp pull throughs has the downside of being closer to road noise. We were comfortable near the back. It looks like a converted drive-in movie—but I’ll give that a plus over regular RV parks. The spaces were wide and well-groomed.I sat on our steps to watch the quail when a large hawk swooped down to try to catch a smaller quail. The cactus behind us hosted cactus wrens. Wildlife was not expected. The pool and hot tub were clean and being enjoyed; laundry was large and clean ($2/$2) and was in a room attached to the club house which had a movie playing, coffee bar, furnishings. The two shower rooms were also through the club house. (There was a shower room outside for pool use)Staff was very friendly and helpful, especially Nona.Would definitely stop here again.

Excellent customer service. Got a spot that was very large. Plenty of room for the dog fence and all my stuff. Great people there that are very friendly and have answers to any questions you may have. Nothing super fancy here and worked great for me for the 3 days I needed to stay. I will stay here again if I am passing through. Oh, absolutely beautiful sunrises here.

We only stopped for a quick overnight so limited on comprehensive reveiw. Sites are on tighter side. It was very clean and well maintained. Roads were very wide for easy parking. Free Bluberry pancake breakfast (not sure if a daily occurrence). We are Gluten Free , so weren't going to be able to have pancakes. The cook offered to make us some with our own batter!! It was AWESOME to have full stomachs and no mess on a travel day. Staff were very friendly and regular residents were as well. We were even able to pick some oranges from the tree on our site.

Didn't stay. Arrived 1:30 pm & office closed. 109 degrees and she locked pool. Spa running. Knocked on her door requested she unlock pool. She said it wasn't safe, sorry. We packed up and left, requested credit. We never received a notification that the pool was locked. Very disappointed. Will dispute if we do not get our credit.

Nice place. Nice people. Level, good sized sites with full hook ups. Sunrise and sets are amazing! Lots of places to ride side x sides nearby. Tv lounge room, laundry, Billiards, hottub and pool. Showers and bathrooms are clean. Nice breakfast on Saturday. Approximately 30 min outside of Quartzsite.

We were here for one month. The spaces were very large . We were in 19 . The staff felt like part of the family before we left. The hot tub pool area.couldnt get any better. Very clean resort. Ridding trails , in all directions. Had pot lucks and get together. Great for meeting others and finding best places to ride. Nice little store also. Laundry area was very clean. This Koa is fenced. Gives more secure feeling. We'll be back if they will have us.

Very full when we were there. Didn't have enough room to open our patio. Couldn't use the laundry unless you came with your own quarters or had to use the app for the card because the one on the machine didn't work. They could not provide quarters.

This review was done a month ago.## Plus is pet freindly as 99% of KOA's are. The new ownership is an entire different vibe from our pervious trips here. A lot less on access to any office hours, fewer helpers giving to less worker camper experience.Since they are new my opinion is at 3.9 at this point.Expect self check in at any hour, very slow reply to repeated phone calls and forget emails all together. KOA site email does not seem to work at all.One man said he was there 2 weeks before seeing one worker. Those hard working smiling happy work campers, have moved on.##2. I updated my star rating to a 4 as decided to return and a very nice voice answered the phone, happy and informative. I made a reservation. 3. Upon arrival, I learned the previous management was dismissed. The work campers here now are very nice and helpful. I was having a problem with hookups at my site and they arrived quickly and corrected the issue. The work camper team here now, are right on top of it and hope that one rotten egg does not deter your decision to stay here. Stop in an judge for yourself.
