Decided to stay here after looking for somewhere away from the city. My family and I were very impressed.It's a quiet, clean and peacful place to stay which is what we wanted.The room we stayed in was very spacious and let us put our luggage away without it getting in the way.Loved the outdoor pond and benches to watch the sunset. Also appreciated the small patio space you get to sit out and enjoy a drink in the evening.It's not on Roosevelt Lake but the drive is no issue.Staff were friendly and very quick. I checked into our rooms in about 2 minutes top. Just signed paperwork and went straight to it.I appreciate the shower in the bathroom which has a built in seat.Will come back next time I need a more isolated escape.

This was our first time visiting Roosevelt Resort Motel and it definitely won’t be our last. The room was extremely roomy and the atmosphere was so peaceful and relaxing. I will definitely recommend them to friends. I think this will be my husband and I new anniversary trip. We were even welcome by the ducks that live on property in the pond.Rooms: Extremely roomy and it smelled so beautiful in the room. Not sure what kind of room spray they used but I loved it.

Rented a cabin there. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The cabins are situated around a nice big pond surrounded by mature trees that offer shade between the pond and cabins creating a very cozy, relaxing feel. It even came with a few friendly visitors. Each cabin had two chairs outside and own parking spaces. Though older, they have taken good care of them. The cabin was very clean with a coastal theme I found very charming. It included a full kitchen with dishes and cookware, a toaster, a coffee pot, a full fridge, a microwave, a sofa bed with extra linens, and a blanket. The resort also has a restaurant and bar located next to office. It's close to Roosevelt. We will definitely be staying there again.

We enjoyed our stay, we had a slight issue with the toilet backing up leading to a trench on the side of the cabin but they were able to get the plumbing working the same day. They are pet friendly and the will sometimes have karaoke and other entertainment in the restaurant/bar area.It is definitely on the older side and could use some money pumped into it but, it beats tenting it when the weather is hot or cold.

The customer service of the Resort staff was great.The rental house was well prepped and cleaned for us.There is definitely some repairs needing done here and there. It is a great functional space, but I would not describe it as luxurious.The overall experience for the price was good enough to where we think we will return. However we really wish they hadn’t sold the restaurant, because the current service and food quality was not very good at all, the two times we tried to eat there.Edit: After the response from the owner I have raised my review to four stars.I appreciate their professionalism and service.

We chose to have our family reunion at Roosevelt Lake Resort. It is very close to Roosevelt Lake, one of my father’s favorite places. The accommodations were perfect for my elderly parents who needed their own room and wanted to bring their dog. We rented the large house, the lake house and 2 rooms to accommodate our large family’s needs. The staff was attentive and helpful. The spaces were clean, comfortable and provided the perfect base for our family gathering. It was exactly as expected. We plan to return yearly as Roosevelt Lake Resort proved to be the perfect location for our annual reunion.

Roosevelt resort is a great destination. The rooms are not five star quality but quite comfortable. If you're looking for a separate cabin of your own they offer that. If you're looking for just a hotel room they offer that as well. Price wise they are extremely reasonable. The resort horseshoes around a small pond that they offer fishing and fishing rods. If you enjoy fishing it's catching release. My wife and I have stayed there numerous times and it's quite unfortunate. I didn't realize the hotel was there as I've been going to Roosevelt for decades and was unaware the hotel was there. Now under new management and things are certainly improving both service wise and accommodations wise.

Went to the Resort this past March. Have 3 days booked for2023 & can't wait to go back.Staff is so accommodating and resort is clean & has a great pond for fishing! Ducks & geese too!! (Please don't feed them sourdough bread products tho! They will die quickly due to sourdough expanding in their bodies & they suffocate.)

We had a very large group (family) along with 2 dogs. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. The rooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable. I can’t say enough about the service of the restaurant. With a group our size, everyone had different requests. Amber was our server and she was amazing!!! She made sure we got what we wanted. They have a limited menu but everything on the menu was very good. We needed a special breakfast order to take with us for a pontoon boat fishing trip. She and the kitchen staff came in early to make sure it was ready. We will definitely be back.

Roosevelt Lake Resort is such a quaint place. The rooms were super clean! I like that I can back my boat next to my room and plug in my boat right there. They are dog friendly, even had a dogs dish ready for them! Although I think the dog fee was a bit pricey for each dog, the room was cheap enough. I cannot say how pleased I was with the staff. They went far and beyond to accommodate my daughter and myself to have our rooms next to each other. If they offer to put you on a cancellation list, and there is a cancellation, they do Infact contact you. I cannot say enough about how friendly the staff were to our family!

We go up there every three or four months with a bunch of bread and dog food to feed the ducks and geese. It's really sad most of the ducks and geese that were there 10 years ago are all but gone. I fear the worst by the people there

The staff was super friendly and easy to work with, they really try and may your stay pleasant. Though the property itself is quite old, the recent updates to the rooms made for a quality stay for several of us attending a local fishing tournament. Our room had a flat screen, good AC, microwave and a coffeemaker. Beds were acceptable. The restaurant is open until 8PM, and features nightly happy hour and decent food. I would definitely stay there again.

Amazing little place to stay at, very convenient, they have a bar and serve food. At the bar area they have inside corn hole, darts, and billiards. Food was surprisingly good, had the wings, shrimp and fries, and mozzarella sticks everything tasted fresh and home made. As for the stay the rooms are cozy and very clean great hospitality. Plus they have cold beer, and dog friendly.

I love this place. It is small and quaint. The pond in the back is very romantic in the evening when the moon and stars. Rooms are clean and well appointed. The price range beats any resort in Phoenix. Thursday night music and local food truck ran by a young entrepreneur! Have a space heater to warm the room but hey, who needs a heater, we are in beautiful sunny Arizona after all.

I just spent memorial weekend here and WOW! It exceeded my expectations by far and was worth every penny spent. I wouldn't have rather of been anywhere else. The restaurant and bar staff worked extremely hard which showed in the service provided. The burger and fries I ordered were amazingly delicious, the liquor was freshly premium, and the prices were honestly not high enough for what I was getting. I had such an amazing time at this place. I recommend anyone to go there and will not be disappointed!

Amazing place to stay! Clean, spacious rooms. We stayed in the dog friendly room at the motel and it was great! One thing we wished was different was the internet, there’s no cell service and the internet did not work for us. Wasn’t a huge deal, but would have been a plus for us! Convenient location. This was our first stay here and we will definitely be returning!

Wow. Certainly friendliest group of people. Neat, clean, and comfortable. Food was great!Very pleasant for an older hotel with lots of upgrades. The waitress who worked Friday night 5.24.2019 was perfect!!Just one note be sure to clean up cigarette buckets outside of every one's door. Yuck. And outside trash can in the walk through.Thanks for the hard work. Plus the bag of ice.

Cabin was nice. On the older side. But clean and roomy. The only down side is they need to resurface the tub floor. It has seen better days. We enjoyed our stay! People were all so nice.

Stayed here for a week or two in one of their cabins and a night in the hotel room as well while I worked in the town of Miami/Globe. Cabin and hotel room were nice and the bar is a chill spot. Owner and staff are great. No complaints. Had a meal there once as well and the burger and fries were great. Right down the road from the lake. I'd recommend it and definitely stay again.

This review is after our first of 3 nights here. We are very impressed so far. The room is very clean. I think all the beds and furniture is brand new and comfortable. You can tell they are still working on this place but they are doing a great job. The staff has been great so far. This is not a five star resort so if that is your expectations I don't recommend it but if you're looking for a fun quasi camping experience give it a try. The pics are cabin 22 which sleeps up to 8 people and is pet friendly.

The room flooded during a storm, power was out all night. That was all fine with me. Obviously that is out of anyone's control but THEY DO HOWEVER HAVE EITHER FLEAS OR BEDBUGS. we were bit all over our bodies. No hot water or water at all on one day. The shower basically spits at you. Not a pleasant experience for us.

I apologize that it’s taken so long to submit this review!We stayed here 10/30-11/1 2020 and rented through Airbnb!Room was clean, staff was friendly enough and accommodating, great sunset view by the pond.Ducks and geese are enormous and pests but it makes for a great story! My niece really enjoyed our quarantined Halloween this year at the lodge.Only complaint is that the restaurant reeked of cigarettes and there wasn’t enough mask wearing inside, so we kept to eating in our room for the weekend!Thanks again! Would recommend 😎

We booked for cabin20 for our anniversary. The cabin smelled like feces. We asked for another cabin they didn’t have any offered us a room that we would need to pay additional for that smelled like urine. The location would of been cute and cuddly for our trip however we did not stay. We requested a refund, and the front desk mgr offered to waive the upgrade fee. We are hoping to get our full refund back.

While we had some confusion at check-in with our online booking the staff was super helpful in making sure we were satisfied with our altered accommodations. The rooms were pretty basic but surprisingly roomy. The sliding doors opened up to overlook a small pond. Outdoor chairs were provided to make for a comfortable evening enjoying the fresh air. The restaurant/bar was comfortable and the food was decent. If I ever return to Arizona for a vacation I would certainly stay here.
