These 5 stars go to Brad. He is patient, kind and works very hard to make sure you are well taken care of. He does not complain and accepts the disastrous way Dollar General runs this store. With that said, I will complain for him. Long lines on a busy Saturday afternoon, he is the only worker present?! Really Dollar General?! Is this the way you take care of you star employees. More like taking advantage if you ask me. Brad kept his cool, did not complain, and actually accepted this without saying a word. His only goal was to help each and every person in there have a good experience. He was determined to the end. Thanks Brad you are the man, and great job! But, no thanks to the way these suits are running it. Keep your head up and we only hope your work conditions improve.

They remodeled Everything but the horrible unwelcoming Staff that walks away from customers while staring as they approach the register, seems to take their name tags off when there’s a certain shift leader.. huh past dozen trips, going to have to apply myself soon and run the store. Will continue to comment until fixed, Family Dollar listened to our community complaints, 5 managers later they got it right! Not management, just very bad Cashiers. You know who you are! Rude

It's you're typical Dollar General, the employees are really friendly so that's a plus. They have had a few a issue with the card readers and having to switch check out lanes, so I deducted a star for that. Other wise It's pretty neat.

I just had a belittling experience at this store. I went to check out and no associates were around so out of necessity (because using the pig toy noise failed to work), I used the self checkout. All was fine until I tried to scan bread. This locked everything up. So after the machine's signal failed to alert an associate who had appeared, 2 feet away, I asked for her help. She approached with a smug, almost insured attitude to that machine where she unraveled a ripped up note. She then smirked, "This machine does not scan bread, as this sign says." She went on to add in a condescending tone that there was nothing she could do about it.

When arriving at the store the employees were smoking right outside the store at approximately 8:00 pm . They then followed us into the store and began bringing in the carts from the outside with merchandise on them blocking the isles so it was difficult to shop. It seems this store is never organized in any way so it seems easier for me to wait and just go to Walmart twenty miles away.

If you must go here, use CASH not a card. I normally go to Family Dollar, but I chose Dollar General today since they sell wine. My sale was declined for whatever reason, but when I checked my card I had 49 cents instead of $13.49. I asked to use $13 on my card and I would put the rest on another card. If that was going to be an issue, I would have made a smaller purchase, but I was assured it would be okay. They offered me receipts and to come back in on Monday (it is Saturday, something something corporate). Normally I wouldn't care but this is the last of my money for the weekend. So much for a convenience store. I am extremely upset, the manager was sympathetic, offered me a receipt to come back in Monday, but I'm going to call my bank and ask for a charge back because, quite frankly, I never want to go here again.

Since we are yet to get a grocery store in our little town, I frequent this Dollar General regularly. I actually love the current staff.. They are fun, knowledgeable, helpful and patient.

The store in verde lakes gets you in and out quickly and efficiently. Wish I could say the same for the one in rimrock where the cashier, after letting you stand there and wait for ten minutes before she casually saunters over to the register all the while cracking jokes, has left me frustrated for the last time. For THEM, pay attention to who you hire as your representitives! The wait in line is ridiculously long and your card machines are always screwing up.its usually much faster to drive the two blocks to family dollar. Oh, and I got locked in the store one night while shopping and it took a long time to find someone to let me out and wasn't allowed to purchase my items because they turned off the register.

I go to the Dollar general in Rimrock very often. Susie is a great manager and if she doesn't have what you want there, she will try to get it. I'm not sure of the name of the tall lean beautiful girl, but she is always very helpful! They have a great team there at the Rimrock Dollar general! I would be lost if I didn't have my DG store!

Shelf's are looking bare. I needed a lock and the hardware section was bare minium. As I walked through the store I noticed the same for drink section and refrigerator section as well. What happened? Things weren't the same. It's looking messy again!

Nice to have a store out here in the sticks but with everything they have in it its hard to walk through the store. They must have century link internet because the registers seem to have problems often. If its near closing time they will make sure you know. No staying one second past close. Prices are fairly high but I guess thats the price for convienience.

Aisles crammed with boxes and loose items on floor. Hubby nearly fell after tripping. Milk cooler so sour from spilled milk I nearly vomited for the smell. Reported it to DM. No action ever taken so stopped shopping there. Not employees fault. They are clearly overworked ona skeleton crew.

Its a great store and you can get anything there. Like art supplies. Coloring/magazines books. All kinds of stuff. Makeup. Lots of snacks. Sugar. All kinds. Any question just ask.

Found everything I was looking for and the staff was friendly. The store is really crowded though so pack your patience when you go. It’s almost like a scavenger hunt!

Seems like they definitely need more space... some areas like helter skelter. Can often find products out of what would be the areas you would expect to find them.
