This place used to be decent. It was a nice Carniseria that I didn’t have to drive far to go to. Unfortunately, this place has gone downhill fast. They are open at eight, but most often their meats aren’t ready at that time. they have certain items that are ready however, most of the items are not available at the time that they open. In addition to that they are charging almost 4 dollars per taco. The meat is tough and flavorless. For four dollars or $3.29 per taco when tacos are typically 299 or less. I’m expecting a lot more. This was absolutely disgusting. I would avoid this place at all cost until they do better. THEY should be ASHAMED. It was tough & gross

I got the shredded beef with three tortillas, rice and beans, and the flavor was incredible! They also have an amazing selection of drinks and hard to find groceries, I highly recommend!

The carnicería had good selections of meat. I purchased the milanesa de res, which was tender and fresh. I also ordered a burrito de barbacoa...delicious! The ladies that work in the restaurant section are very nice and friendly, and work so fast. The food is worth the drive. I will definitely be back.

1st time there.Butcher helped me pick out meat cuts for what I needed for a BBQ gathering. Packed the meats into marinade bags for me.Came back again the next day and picked up fixings (Pico, Salsa, limes, tortillas,...)

High prices and low quality! The fat on the meat weighs more the the meat given!

I bought a Arizona Green tea and Carnitas burrito for approximately eight dollars. The beans in the burrito were a little salty but you could definitely taste the freshness as if it were made this morning. The flour tortillas are huge so expect to bite into a lot of flour every time. They put pico de gallo inside the burrito. Every other bite I took had cartilage so expect the extra crunch! I would not but food from here. But on a positive note they have a lot of toilet paper today 3/30/20

They sell those huge flour tortillas, perfect to make burritos! I do wish they had pan dulce though :( Other than that, it's a pretty nice little place, like a small piece of Mexico, selling your basic hispanic needs for the perfect Carne Asada, Mexican sweets and canned goods. They also have an over-the-counter order-to-go corner where they sell burritos and other dishes.

The staff is always talking with my kids and treating me like family friends. I cannot say enough good things about this place. The marinade they sell actually make my carne asada taste good, and I don't know what I'm doing. Highly recommend.

Went in for a pound of simple Beef Chorizo, but I didn't expect $8.99/lb! Perhaps I'm used to Tucson prices were the best chorizo at local carnicerias are at most $5/lb, $3/lb on sale. After cooking it, found out there was a lot of grease. My guess is the beef was at most, 73% lean. I like my beef chorizo with 93% lean, even 85% is ok. Taking a bite, the chorizo spice is very mild, and it could use way more spice. I little added heat would be nice. For $9/lb, I'd expect better quality ground beef, and more spice. Fry's Food beef chorizo is better and cheaper.

Best chile verde in the East Valley. This place is a gem. Hot food is amazing all around. If you're grilling, you cant beat their carne asada or pollo asada either.

This place has been here for decades. Plenty of authentic Mexican food supplies for authentic meals. Always easy to get my BBQ bottles filled here and they have an old style satellite post office in the back that is nice for dropping things off (however, hours may now be limited by Covid)

This place is so awesome!! Bought some amazing carne asada to take home and cook and had the most amazing tacos. Love the store and selection of other items, like aloe water and hot sauces. Will frequent.

We stocked up on some Mexican beer, horchata, and ordered food. The chorizo burrito was great as well as a carne asada burrito. Service was exceptional as I am in a wheelchair and was treated very well. Support your local small businesses! Oh by the way I saw a USPS post office in the back!

Awesome carne asada but you’ll need to refinance your home to buy more than 5 lbs

I love this place. My family and I have come in here several times for the Crane Asada with the house marinade. I have BBQd more of that in my life than any other food. It is the best I have had and would recommend it to anyone. The market itself is also fantastic, boasting local favorites and Hispanic staples to fit your cookout needs. The staff has always been excellent and kind.

You could easily drive by this place, and that would be a mistake. Reminiscent of old school grocery stores, crowded shelves are packed with stuff you won't find at the chain stores. Lots of interesting Mexican foods and treats. There's also a small lunch area. The food looked good, but I had already eaten before I got there.

Love this place! Fair prices on most things and great food. Parking lot can be a bit crowded and prices can be a bit high on several specific items but other than that Id stop by this place everyday of the week if I could afford to :)

This is the best Mexican food I’ve found in Arizona and it’s inside a grocery store with a post office. Large menu with many options made and served quickly. The menu is all in Spanish but pretty straight forward. Very friendly people working here.

Great shop, amazing authentic food. Had a breakfast burrito today, made fresh, it was incredible. Chorizo, egg, refried beans, cilantro, salsa. Side of chicherones

Best carne asada for grilling! The store carries all the authentic spices for cooking, a variety of cookies and crackers you usually only find in a store south of the border and more. Fresh vegetables, salsa, tortillas in a variety of sizes. One could almost imagine they were in a corner store in Mexico, if not for the old U.S. Post Office in the rear of the store! That, though, makes this store one of a kind. Makes me feel like I've stepped back in time. I'd like to know more of the history of the place. It is just a fun experience shopping there!

The owners make you feel like you are part of family. The food is amazing, my favorite and best ever ... chichorones. You have to stop by if you are in the area, you will not be disappointed.

Carne asada was okay, a bit pricey. Other shops have much better cuts of meat for them same price. I'll get it here again if I don't have time to drive too another one. Shop was very clean.
