Took my dog in for the quick wash as the sign said no appointment necessary. It turns out you need an appointment. Totally false advertising. The staff super unfriendly too. Would never take my dog there as the staff all miserable and very rude.

This review is based off of principle. We’ve been going here for 2+ years. We are ALWAYS on time!! We have had times where we have had to wait 30+ minutes for the employees to show up. We have had times where we have had to wait longer than the allotted time for our dog to be ready. Today, we got stuck in traffic in a bad accident and we called to let them know we would be about 10 minutes late. We ended up being 20 minutes late. Petsmart charged us an extra $10 as a “you’re late” charge. It’s not about the $10, but seriously. I’ll make sure to have our “you’re late” charge ready for the next time they are behind. Come on…not a good look for regular customers.

Whenever I am visiting relatives in Queen Creek, I bring Buster to Petsmart. They take excellent care of him and have always followed all my instructions for his special care. They are very conscientious about his health & well being. They contacted his vet about his recent heart murmur to make sure of any other special needs. They are GREAT!!!

I called at 9:00 am and asked if they had an inflatable doughnut style cone in stock as my Pug had surgery today. They had 2 in stock, so I asked if they could hold one for me, that I could pick up after work, before I picked up my pup. I was told no, that if someone came in and wanted both, they had to sell them both. I went in and purchased one, and when I opened it, it was used with dog slobber and hair all over and it smelled. I called and asked if they could put the other one up front for me to exchange and I was told no. When I got back to the store, the other one was gone, so I was stuck with the dirty, used one.Horrible customer service! If something that is made of material is returned, it should be discarded, not resold. Also, why not hold the second one in stock for 15 minutes?I will say that both times I spoke to someone in the phone, it was a male, however, I don’t remember his name. My female cashier was lovely and felt bad when I returned to exchange the item.

The store and their other services are fine, but I would never go to their grooming place again. To each your own, but they treated my dog horribly. They didn’t think I would be watching them through the window. Up to you, but I’d go someplace else. Fair warning

I went to buy an elevated food dish holder. The first aisle marked "cats" had the product. I was in and out the door in about seven minutes, despite waiting in line behind three other customers. The store was clean and the cashier was very pleasant and efficient.

I always knew not to adopt small animals from chain Pet stores because they aren’t the best at sourcing their breeders aswell as the cages they’re kept in are not the proper sizes needed. But I was absolutely mortified when I went in today and witnessed an employee cleaning a Guinea pig cage out and the SIX Guinea pigs were crammed in two very small enclosures for about 30-45 minutes. 4 crammed into one and 2 in another. A friend of mine who works at a Petsmart informed me that this is not policy and they’re suppose to be in a larger enclosure or in one tiny one like the one mentioned but one per enclosure not 4. Your staff needs to be properly trained on how to handle cage cleans again. No creature wants to be put into a tiny box crammed together with three other creatures.

This store is our go to location for all of our pet needs! The team is extremely friendly, the store is very clean, and managers Sherrie and Megan are both very helpful! Would recommend 100%!

Not usually one to leave negative reviews but I’m really bothered. The girl Adriana working the fish department really left a bad taste in my mouth after our interaction with her. I took my kids to pick out some fish and she walked out from the back room and my son said “hi!” To her and she just looked at him with a really annoyed facial expression and said nothing to him. my 2 and 4 year old were obviously really excited, not being loud or obnoxious or anything just “mommy look at this little fish! Let’s get this one!” And she said TO them “wow you guys are really hyper active” in a really rude tone. I’m really disappointed with how she interacted with my children. Do better with your employees

Jerry is unprofessional, rude, and very condescending. He has one of the worst attitudes I have every witnessed. He complained and said things under his breath as he literally threw the bag of dog food in the back of my car. He chucked one with such force that the bag broke open. When he was done loading my car he stormed away. I was shocked to find out he was a team lead. This place must be desperate to employ such a disgruntle employee. This middle age man should be embarrassed for his behavior.

i came and was looking at the fish with my girlfriend. we weren’t touching poking or doing ANYTHING. adrianna starts to yell at my girlfriend for no reason saying she was putting her hands in the water. there was absolutely no reason she could’ve thought that. we weren’t even close. she started to tell how she’s gonna kick us out because if it. my girlfriend said she wasn’t and she gave he SO MUCH attitude for it. i understand asking about it if she was putting her hand in the water but she just jumped to conclusions and decided to be horrible. the only reason im not giving 1 star is because everyone else was nice and respectful. no one deserves how Adriana acted

Recently took my 11wk old puppy to get a quick nail trim. They say they accept dogs after 8wks. I had to bring up the fact that his feet were not supposed to touch the ground at that age in a high traffic area. They said he had to walk on the floor past the camera, and didnt have any exceptions for puppies. They said they could sanitize the floor before he walked if i wanted. I then had to ask if they could sanitize the area that he would get his nails clipped on before setting him there. I was in a bind to get them done because they were so long, but I would definitely not take your young puppy before they are fully vaccinated, even though they say they can service them, for they do not seem to take the proper precautions without being asked.

I just realized the grooming department totally scammed me! They oddly called me last week to see if I wanted to book an appointment for my Frenchie because they were having some sort of sale? I told her yes and booked an appointment for today 11/17 at 930am. Got there, checked my dog in and left to my car while they worked on her. 30 min later, I got a call to come get her because she was ready. I was on the phone at the time and couldn't come get her right away so I decided to pay through the app until I was off the call to avoid the register. Paid and now just realized they charged me FULL price AND they were not able to do a nail grind on her front paws but STILL charged me full price! I am done with this location. The grooming salon off Gilbert & Germann is 10xs better and they don't scam call you!

The grooming department is full of rude, inexperienced staff. I show up for my appointment and am asked "Do you have an appointment" I relied "Yes, for 11" then they say nothing else to me, while my wife and I are just standing there for 4 or 5min. We go to pick up my dog and get the same thing. A girl wearing black lipstick is sitting at the computer, I walk up to her and didn't even get eye contact or acknowledgement. Again just standing there. That's not all! I get home and notice my dog's snout is sticky. I start scrubbing it and I'm getting soap suds. They didn't even rinse him off properly. In one of the pictures you can see the suds forming on his nose and they sliced open his bottom lip. Do yourself a favor, get a mobile groomer. They appreciate your business, and are clearly more experienced. Never having him groomed at this place again.

Store floor is always very organized and clean. Like that they offer a large variety of brands, supplies, etc. Enjoy the adoption days they have with other organizations. Do have a dog daycare but sad that they are very against "bully" breeds. Did check into my dogs staying, or being a pitbull mix the other a German Sheppard mix. They flat out said my pit wouldn't be able to be with other dogs, play time would be by himself and he would not even be able to be with my German Sheppard. Also have dog grooming services, which I used to use but no longer. Very over priced for what you get and it takes way too long. Most of the timeyour dog is in a kennel.

Horrible horrible costumer serviceMy son tried to buy some fish and literally this lady Gina who supposedly is a manager told us we couldn’t buy the fish giving the most ridiculous excuses … she was questioning if we have the necessary equipment for the fish , it wasn’t like she was trying to sale it was most like not wanting to sale it to us … idk why … we just said we needed it this fish and was not her business if we have what we the fish needed to survive … obviously we have what we needed !Her stupid job was just to sale the dang fish . Now I have a kid crying .Thanks Gina . I seriously don’t understand her attitude , maybe she doesn’t like Hispanic people idk .Now I have to deal with a sad kid .

Will never take any of my pets to a pet smart again ..lazy unfriendly groomers that act like they don't want to be there . And if I were you I would watch them through the window while they have your pet . I did and did not like what I seen at all ...worst place to trust with your pet ...

We recently had 2 dogs stay at the pet hotel. We were gone for 8 nights. We used our regular food and bagged enough for the trip. I was surprised when I picked them up to find that they did not use all of the food for the week- about half was still left. My dogs must have been starving! Also, one dog had to go to the vet at the beginning of the stay and the associates were very rude about the situation every time we would call to check in.

We just purchased a Fancy Bearded Dragon. Maddi, the most knowledgeable, friendly with great customer service attitude was super helpful. She allowed our son to pet the bearded dragon! Maddi's expertise in customer service is over the top. She reccomended us about everything we needed for the Dragon. From the food and water bowls, its enclosure, carpet, and everything else a customer might've forgotten.Thank you, Maddi for a great shopping experience. You've made our son's day! 😊

The staff were friendly, helpful and did their jobs well while our family visited for treats, a collar and kibble. We found everything well in stock and a nice clearance section toward the back that happened to have a puppy collar the kids fell in love with. We also had to use the restroom for our littles and it was clean, well stocked and didn't offend our noses so that's a win in our book.

The cashier was very helpful and polite. She assisted with my price match, my mark down coupon, my points towards money off earnings, and overall helped me save a ton shopping at PetSmart today. She wasn't annoyed at all that I had these requests to have these savings, she seemed happy to help.

Came to this petsmart last night at the end of the day to pick up toys and essentials for our new pup and the staff was great! Very friendly and kind and I will be coming back to this location primarily. Thank you to the cashier working late on 8/9 who helped me and my husband out!
