The two ladies working in the store stood behind to register the entire time I was in the store. They would ask questions from the register and I'd answer but no one on one experience. No personal attention about my needs. No real interest in what I was looking for. Won't be back.

When you want to shop local and like the feel of a small town store:For dog owners this place is fantastic, with solid selection of food, treats and meal options (raw, dry, oat mixes, grain-free, etc.). The staff is friendly and always accessible.The real gem of the store is the room hidden at the back, where for a nominal fee, you can wash your dog in their fancy tubs, with their products and with no mess at home. After trying this once, there was no going back and its just so much easier everyone, even if they complain whilst getting their rub-a-dubs.

Excellent customer service! I briefly mentioned my dog was having troubles with her appetite ...I was extremely pleased with how much info and help I got from one of the young ladies working there! Store was clean and well stocked. Prices are reasonable and they have good variety of product!

Absolutelyyyyyy love this pet planet and its employees! They are truly the nicest and caring people I have ever met. They see me and know my pets and ask about them every time I come in. People like to complain about the prices in these reviews but don’t realize its because pet planet carries the best and healthiest products for pets! There’s no where else i go for chews, I’d recommend this place 100x!

What a great pet store and the best prices I have found especially compared to some of the major chain retailers. The staff are always wonderful when I come in and I can tell they really love their jobs. “Happy employees make happy customers.” I can tell this company really takes care of their employees as well and I am happy to continue to give them my business. They also (btw) have the best prices for Orijen in Queen Creek. I did the research. Although one time they were sold out of the flavor I needed but the 4 other times it has not been. Great store, great quality, and staff are very knowledgeable on products.

Very helpful explaining the world of dog food to me. I grew up with throw kibble in bowl and go. Saw how feeding animals had changed so when I adopted a 5year old I went in to learn the best way to feed her. They were very patient and kind walking me through all of the choices. Highly recommend them.

What a great pet supplies store! They have given us professional recommendations for dog food, vets, dog trainers, and offer deals each week on things like treats and toys. Our dogs are healthier than ever and we cant be happier. Thanks so much for the help from Pet Planet!

Great cheap place to give the dogs a bath, but it was only one tub and the soap dispenser washer didn’t work. Definitely nice to wash the four dogs all at once instead of leaning over a bathtub! Thank you guys!

I went in to get some help on puppy food. I thought i would try this place vs Amazon and hopefully get some 1on1 expertise. I asked what would you recommend for puppy food that isn't unreasonably priced. I was shown a brand that was a 4.5lb bag for $24. I asked if they had anything else that wasn't so high in price and the response I received was "What are you looking for?" I said I wasn't sure, I don't know what to look for. We both just stood there looking at the shelf with silence. I then said "ok, well have a good day." That's it. Really? No, well here is some high end puppy food, here is some mid priced, here are the ingredients you want to look for, etc?

New management is very robotic and not nearly as helpful as the friendly young guy, he was always happy to see me and my dogs and was very knowledgeable about nutrition & what was best for my dogs apparently he no longer works there. They carry great & healthy dog food & treats, you can wash your dog inside the store. EDIT: new employees very nice & knowledgeable, i recommend this store.

I bought tons of treats, toys, balls, and a kong for my dog. I thought the price would be somewhere from $50 to $60 but it was only $35! It’s so affordable and my dog loved everything. I would 10/10 recommend this store. Customer service was amazing as well, employees were very kind and patient.

Wow. Just got a call from I think Sabrina and she was checking up on my cat because I made a slight change to his food after a week. My good ole well fed fat cat is doing great because of the high quality food.Didn’t expect them to call me after just a small conversation in the store.Keep it up Pet Planet!

Awful experience. Was told over the phone $15 for self washing: includes bath tub, towels, dryers, soaps, brushes. Get there and arrived with my own towels due to me calling ahead and knowing. There were NO brushes and I had to purchase one, the soap I wanted to use was out of stock, and then I pay and it’s $20! Plus the $12 for a brush! I was there for 30 minutes and paid $32 for a bath and dry. What a rip off! Will never return, nor recommend.

Very disappointed in the washing station. The soap and conditioner dispensers didn't work. The young lady working was wonderful and said they know of the issue. If that's the case why hasn't it been fixed. Owner's please fix the issue.

I have brought my dog here multiple times to get a self-wash. I came in today to wash my dog. I was told that I was not able to walk-in as they had an appointment at 5:00pm. This was at 4:00pm and a bath takes about 15 minutes.
