I adopted my fur baby at the humane society about a year ago. Nika helped me pick out the perfect pup for me! She was so helpful & you could tell she really cares about these dogs finding their forever home!!! I decided to support the humane society by donating to their thrift store. When I arrived Nika was working there. Of course I updated her on my baby & thanked her again! I decided to take a look around as I had never been there before. It's a nice clean store. Unfortunately the manager was rude, but all the other employees were great! I docked a star for the manager, she should take some lessons from her employees honestly!

I typically come here every few weeks to look at furniture or clothing. Today I asked a staff member about an old sewing machine because I own a similar one. She was incredibly rude and condescending. I was with my son, so I didn't make an issue of her aggressive tone. I will not be back, however.

It's nice shopping here. The staff is exceptionally nice, friendly and helpful even when they're busy. I had a great experience today. And their prices are very good too. I've worked at 2 thrift stores for years and in my experience, they're doing it right.

This is one of the best thrift stores I have ever been in. Very clean and well-kept and organized. The customer service is amazing the manager of the facility is the most kindest loving individual you could ever meet.Also remember they accept donations Tuesday through Thursday I believe 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.Rick B

They've done a wonderful job of reorganizing the thrift store! There's a large outdoor shopping area behind the store now that has such a variety of items. Great idea to organize the front patio with animal items!I'm glad they're donation area moved and that there is more and safer parking available. I hope the new donation area continues to improve and will soon present neater and more inviting.You'll save lots of money if you stop propping the front doors open.The female cashier was mostly pleasant but was abrupt and rude to a few customers. I knew this because she speaks/yells loud enough to hear her throughout the store.Keep moving in a positive direction!

Love this thrift store! Great prices and friendly employees. I’ve bought everything here from clothes to a couch. Good place to find pet harnesses and used pet supplies too.

I have had nothing but positive experiences here. When you walk in, it feels homey and welcoming, and the merchandise is always changing! They have great stuff. While I have found some items to be a little pricey, I just pass them over. I go for the majority of items that are priced more than fairly, and then I often get a discount of some sort from the wonderful people there, who have on more than one occasion offered coupons that I didn't know about! This is always a store on my list to stop by for some great, unique, in good condition, and well-priced finds. And I am always treated with respect and genuine friendliness. I appreciate what they do to help animals in need, too.

Really great stuff here! I strongly recommend donating your items here instead of everyone's typical default, you know what I am referring to. The money helps the local humane society. There prices are fair! They have a lot of handy things like paints, fixtures and household items. I was told it's under new ownership and you can definitely tell. This is a great thrift shop!!UPDATE: hate to knock you down a star but... the women who works on the weekend is so rude and impatient. Not only with myself but with everyone she interacts with. It's obnoxious and uncomfortable how nasty she is with people. If you don't have patience, don't do retail. Especially second hand retail.BUT they have such good stuff, it's still worth going. But just be aware, it's her, not you. Ignore her attitude.

The store on Iron Springs Road was great! Neat, clean and such great items. Something for everyone's taste. Amazing furniture, pictures, clothing and everything you want. Loved it.Bought just what I needed.

This was my first visit to the Yavapai Humane Thrift store. All the clerks were extremely nice, seemed to like their job and were helpful. I've never been into a cleaner Thrift store. I'll be going back!

Please if you have self respect do not go here until customer service has improved. Wrong people to be working in customer service. Workers yelled at customers to get out while people were changing in the change rooms. Very rude. Great cause for helping animals but maybe the workers are so grumpy because they get paid Pennie’s so def could be management issue. Stay away from Jacob extremely rude. Wishing this place the best of luck the animals sure need it but will sadly not be back until I can be treated like a human and not a burden or bother.

Very nice, clean well organized. They don't have a lot of pet supplies though. That's why I only gave it three stars because I was looking for pet fencing.

Very fun perusing this more upscale thrift resale store in Prescott. I had and used a 50% discount coupon. Otherwise, there is a 40% off virtual discount coupon online at the Yavapai Humane Society Thrift Store, Prescott, AZ. (Those two little dogs that you'll see are mine!) Use your smart phone.Prices are high and often near regular retail. Staff is always great.

Service was OK. But when we ordered burgers. Fries and soda. I asked for a refill on the diet soda as it had alit of ice in it. The girl said they would have to charge me for another drink. I think that is poor customer service and they are not very cheap to begin with. Won't go there again. Sorry.

Great thrift store. I apreciate the fact that they donate to the humane society. The prices are great. One great thing about this place is everyday they put two numbers on the paws of a stuffed dog on the checkout counter. If the last digit in your drivers license matches one of those numbers - tada! Everything in the store is 50 percent off. However, they will not tell what day the numbers will match your license. It is just luck. They often times have sales on some type of item in the store one type at a time. This is also luck based. Overall, a great thrift store.

Not sure why associates can't speak up for themselves but I came here today not knowing that they closed at 3:00 and instead of the mentally incompetent associate at the register letting me know that they were closed when I ENTERED THE STORE, I walk mid-way to the back of the store to look at the dresses. She calls someone to the front, whispers to him that I "walked to the back" (making me look suspicious), and he shouts over that they closed at 3:00. Unless I was somehow invisible When I walked in, why not kindly say "we're closed", instead of making me look like a suspect. Honestly y'all need to learn how to treat others, I will not be back.

Called up earlier today to determine if the rumor was true, and their very own recording said that they are open until 3:00 pm for donation drop offs. We just now left at 2:05 after being told that, “we just got slammed and I have no room to take anything more today.” Really? Why are you even open? Are you NOT going to take donations again until the store can be opened? Thanks for the wasted hour long drive to get to you.

The prices seem a bit higher than the local thrift stores but it's for the animals! Lots of clothing, furniture, decorative housewares, and other sorts of usual things you'd find around the house. They often have 50 percent off days so be sure to check their website!

The Yavapai Humane Society has gone from the worst Thrift shop in Prescott to one of the very best. ( yes, worse than Goodwill). Now there is a wider array of items, in larger quantity, at "thrift shop prices"... instead of the previous pseudo boutique overpriced set up they had for the past few years.

I was there Today 11/8/21 had payed for some things cabinet with safe I asked one of the workers if it would be safe being there until I loaded it up in my Truck well I went to pull my Truck up to load and some guy had it in his Truck he claimed he had payed for it I told him no I payed for it as I had the key to it well I left I still have the key to it not happy about it got my money back don't ask employee if it's ok to leave ya stuff cause next thing you know it's in some ones other vehicle .

I love the feel walking into the Yavapai Humane Society Thrift Shop as it feels like you're there for a great cause. This thrift store has more upscale items and can be expensive, however, if you go on a discount day you can walk away spending little for the items you find.

Very friendly and very helpful. Answer the phone promptly and answered my question immediately. When I went by to drop off the two items I was offered help to get them out of the truck. Very nice charity, I'm glad they're here.

I used to LOVE this store when it was in it's old location. Now the items are so over priced that I never find anything worth buying. I don't even bother stopping there anymore. It's such a shame!

I feel their prices are outrageous. I go in with my sister but i rarely ever buy and if i do its always the days where my lisense matches the njmbers gor the day fof 50 % off.
