We have a 12 year old Rottweiler/German Shepherd mix who has been receiving chemo. His normally thick winter coat didn't come in this year. We hike early in the mornings and lately it's been below freezing. I needed to buy him a winter coat, but it's really hard to find a coat his size that has decent belly coverage. When I looked online and in other stores, all the coats his size had just a single narrow strap across the chest. I took our dog to Whiskers Barkery and explained what I needed. A lady took me right to a stack of coats that were his size AND provided good belly coverage. She even helped me try on a couple different colors. The staff here are super knowledgeable and helpful. They even carry items I can't find in larger stores. Now our dog stays nice and warm on our early morning hikes.

My pup and I loved this place! Staff were really friendly and helpful. Great selection of pet supplies and toys. Groomer and doggy daycare on site plus a fabulous doggy cookie casenfilled with wonderful canine treats.

Store has really cute stuff. But, my Chihuahua wouldn't eat even one of the homemade cookies. They were hard as rocks. I couldn't even break one of them in half. 6 different ones for $3.50. reasonable but my fur baby didn't care for them. Can't comment on other services

Was able to take a walk in nail trim on a busy Saturday 3-4 months ago, as advertised on their website at the time, for $12. They did awesome! However, when I got there they asked me if I had an appointment, and shared they were super busy and if I could come back the next day. I couldn’t, had driven down specifically because of the walk-in info. I did follow instructions on the website a week prior and submitted a request online for an appointment but didn’t hear back.I called them about a month ago to seek if they still did walk-in nail trims and the very nice person who answered said they were down 2 groomers, and they wouldn’t be able to that day. I asked if I could make an appointment for the next week or after, and they said they didn’t know if they could and the groomer would call back. Left name and number and didn’t get a call back.They have AWESOME customer service and great options in the store, but not being able to take advantage of advertised services or make an appointment at all meant I went to Petco when I’d prefer to support a local business. But if you can get in, I highly recommend!

I needed to get my Dad's dogs in the same day I called as my dad had passed away and I wanted the dogs clean before his memorial service. Whiskers Barkery was able to accommodate me the same day even though it was afternoon when I called. For that I will be forever grateful.

The staff are great. Very friendly and knowledgeable. Just hard to justify paying more than double what you would anywhere else. I absolutely love supporting ma and pa shops, but you can't expect me to pay $8.99 for a bag of treats, when I can go down the road and get the same bag for $3.99. I'd love to support you guys, but come on.

The outdoor business hour signs could be done better. It has the hours for Mon-Sat but Sunday is just blank. Sunday should have the word closed on there to prevent confusion. My friend and I thought they were open and went in but no one was inside, we said “Helllllooooo” and the lights were off so we just walked out and closed the door behind us. Long story short: the store was closed, someone forgot to lock the door, and the police showed up because we accidentally tripped the alarm. We were just trying to find a place to get our dog a “Happy Birthday” dog cookie. Lol.

I love supporting local businesses and this one has always been one of my favorites. They have a good inventory of pet food, treats, toys and accessories. The decorated cookies for dogs are fun and I love that a portion of profits is donated to a local pet rescue organization. I would have given 5 stars if they required masks during the pandemic, but not even the employees wear them. I will continue to shop there when I need something specific, but don't feel comfortable spending the time to browse.

Absolutely wonderful shop to visit! They are always super friendly to both their two-legged and 4-legged visitors. I love how they carry a great selection of all-natural pet treats. Whenever we visit Prescott and bring along the doggo, it's a must to stop in here for a quick snack for her!

It's a cute little store it's mostly for dogs but it has a lane for cats and a few other like rabbits and stuff like that the price is right for Prescott in the area but it's too high for me I got a little envelope or something but it is a cute store

I love Whiskers Barkery! I've been in a number of times to browse the treats and toys for my dogs, but today I called for a nail trim. I called at Noon and they were able to get both of my dogs in for nail appointments at 12:45. Very quick and affordable. They were so helpful, friendly and most importantly, sweet with my dogs. So glad this place is around the corner from me!

We come here every time we visit Prescott. Our pup loves the self wash room, and all the baked treats! They even have a water dish out front that she loves after we've been walking around all day. Thanks Whiskers!

Had to go to Vet Hospital Emergency room not even a week after grooming appointment.Paws where matted and not trimmed and infected when i was at hospital i heard other horror stories about Debbie the groomer. She will not return texts.Very upset...I would stay far away if you care for the health of your dog.. I want refund and Vet bills paid for or everyone in Prescott will be warned everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Love this place. We get our dogs groomed here and Deb makes them look so good! We also get our dog food here, which they order for us and always have a bag waiting for us. Our puppy, Tater, has attended their puppy play group and it has been a really fantastic experience for her.

My Bichon, Baxter had been scratching and scratching despite a clean, raw, homemade diet. I went to Whiskers Barkery to get some shampoo to ease his suffering until I figured out what was going on. I'm new in Prescott and wanted to support local business. What a find!!! Christine was a gem! She spent time to help me trouble shoot the issue and told me she thought he may have developed an allergy to the raw chicken I had been lovingly preparing him AND despite my best efforts she felt he may be deficient in some vitamins and minerals. She recommended a great Kelp multi-vitamin for only $20 and suggested changing to Turkey. Within 2 days his condition improved and within a week my little dog was recovered!!! Wow! Thank you, thank you, thank you Christine! You saved me hundreds of dollars at a vet and most importantly you helped the best little dog there ever was. You are the best! Baxter and I thank you so very much! I will continue to shop at Whiskers Barkery and tell anyone who will listen what a charming little store it is!

Great place to buy toys for your pets, leashes, beds, healthy dog food, dog training, and dog grooming. I don't know if they groom cats.My dogs love to come here for the treats and they love Debby whom gives them their baths!Zac is a highly educated dog trainer. He's a gentle soul and knows exactly what to do for your pup. He is an encyclopedia for dog training.Great place.

I love this local place to shop for my dog. They have the cutest dog biscuits in their display case. Today my dog got her photo taken with Santa! They always have fun events going on. They also have a self service dog wash station and grooming available.

The Groomer is super nice but she doesn't listen to what we wanted when it came to giving the dog a hair cut. We gave 3 chances, same haircut each time, not what we wanted. Difficult to schedule an appointment all booked out, had to schedule when you groomed.

I went into this store with my very nervous adopted pup Scooby Doo. We went to go check out harnesses because he has a knack for reversing out of his collar. He reveresed out of his collar in front of the store! All the ladies were so helpful in helping me calm him down and get him safely into the store. Maddie helped me fitting him into about a dozen harnesses until we found the right one. I am so grateful to all of you for your care and patience.

So I had just picked my heeler up from a rather serious surgery I also had my daughter with me. I called beforehand to see if they had a soft doughnut cone for purchase. They had one left. My next question was if they could run out to my truck and take my card to complete my transaction. They were more than happy to help me. Great customer service and they went above and beyond to help me in my situation. I would recommend them to anyone.

I took my sister's little poodle dog, Peaches into Whiskers to have her groomed before she visited her "dad" at the hospital. Vanessa was very accommodating and finished Peaches in less than a hour! The best part is that when Peaches' "parents" saw her they couldn't believe their eyes. They said that she had NEVER looked so beautiful before, and that she had never been so soft and fluffy - even though they have had her groomed regularly throughout her life. I would recommend Vanessa at Whiskers to anyone.

Very unwilling to help. On day I came in looking for a harness in a different size. I was worried the first one I bought (elsewhere) wasn't fitting my dog properly. The woman began talking to me and then asked who my dog trainer was...at which point she put a hand in my face and said, "I can't talk to you about this." And very rudely told me I'd have to talk to my trainer and walked off. And there have been other times that they have been rude and unhelpful as well. I prefer to support local business but I won't go here ever again. I'll have to find another place for pet supplies in town.

This is a great local pet store filled with everything a pet owner could want; food, toys, topicals, treats, supplies, training, and grooming. The staff is friendly and helpful. We always stop in to see what's new. It's great to shop local!

Was in there a few days ago and heard someone yelling in the back and as I was walking around a women who looked like an employee came from the back room clearly looking distraught. I couldn’t imagine an employer yelling at me the way that owner yelled at that poor employee. When I went to check out I asked the employee if everything was ok and she said “it was what it is”I asked what had happened and she said she got yelled at for her appearance which caught me off Guard because I thought she had looked great clean clothes brushed hair there seem to be nothing wrong with her appearance to me

My roommate and I wanted to drive up there from Fountain Hills to check it out. I looked on the website to see if they were open on Sunday and the website stated that they were open. After arriving, the hours posted in the window stated that they are in fact closed on Sunday. We drove all that way and didn't get to see it.
