Today, at this Safeway deli, a young man behind the counter named Cam K. made me the best sandwich I've ever had in my 39 years on this planet. Someone needs to give him a raise, a bonus, a promotion -- anything and everything to recognize this fine artist's true skill in sandwichery. I may never be able to enjoy another sandwich again. Thank you, Lord Cam, for changing my life.

I have been a Frys shopper for 20 years. Once we moved to Prescott, we found Frys (the one on Fair St.) dirty, poor produce, subpar bakery and a not so friendly staff... soooo I tried the Safeway on White Spar, and I love it. It's clean, great bakery and produce etc etc I am hooked. I am now a Safeway customer

2 Stars - Primary issue - state of the deliThis Safeway is one of the older grocery stores in the area. Been around a long time. So it appears a little tired and worn, but this is *not* why the stars are low, it's an observation for folks looking for info on the store.Employees are usually friendly and I have had one go above and beyond when I needed help and something had no shelf label. Really impressive.Stopped recently to get things for a large group picnic - needed to grab some last minute things. Found what I needed and it was on sale. Tasty 7 layer dip in the fridge case by the deli, potato salad from same case by the deli (and it was FANTASTIC potato salad). Got what I needed and got the things at a decent price.While I was shopping, I perused the deli counter to see what the prices and availability was for things for the picnic. After glancing at a couple items, I had to walk away. It was horrendous. The majority of the food stuffs, for purchase by the pound offered in the glass case had clearly been there too long. Nearly everything was dry and crusted - discolored where the air had been in contact with the air too long. It wasn't one or two things of mayonnaise base - it was MOST of the dishes of food available. It was stunning.I considered taking photos and couldn't even stand there looking at it to do so.So - yes this is a fine Safeway for your regular shopping, but I would tell everyone to steer clear of the deli - it could not have looked more like a case of spoiling, old salad varieties. It was Health Dept review worthy with how many of the things looked unsafe to eat.

I have used the online ordering and pick-up service several times now and have been very pleased with the quality and accuracy of the service. Occasionally, substitutions are made and if not acceptable to me then the items are removed from my order and refunded promptly. I have experienced nothing but courteous and professional staff each time I have picked up my order. Recommend the service highly!

Since I'm doing my best to avoid GMOs, healthy organic stuff is great to see... but overall, it's just a great neighborhood store,...and out of the three grocery stores I had to choose from that were within convenient driving distance, this one is actually the farthest out, but it's the one I want to go to now.....Ok...a few weeks later...I had actually stopped going to this store, sadly, because of an annoyingIntercom system....Loud and obnoxious. Decided to give it another try today, and to my absolute delight...No more annoying intercom beeps or yelling! Ahhhhh.....I'm back.....:)

I shopped in the White Spar location this morning and Megan was my cashier. I messed up my coupons, and Megan was incredibly sweet and helpful. She took the time to fix the problem, and made sure that I got all the discounts I was counting on. I just wanted to let the world know that she is wonderful and a big asset to Safeway.

Safeway has come through for us on a number and f occasions, whether for Thanksgiving items or most recently, appetizers for a New Year's Eve party. Good selection of quality foods. The checkout staff are friendly and the store is clean and well managed.

Probably will never go to this Safeway again. It's not a huge deal, but the package was missing half the items it was supposed to have. Already wasn't my favorite store, but solidified just driving a few extra minutes to somewhere better.

I love this pharmacy. I just recently switched from Walgreens. The entire staff has been so much better but a huge shout out to Amanda who has taken so much extra time to help me through this difficult transition and being an advocate for the patient. Absolutely above and beyond 💜Thank you!

This is the second time I've done this but I can tell you that the people in the managers that work there treat me so well I'm visually impaired they always help me not to mention their jovial and nice stores right around the corner from where and they're just all great people you don't see that and retail anymore those employees are like family to me

I love this place! This grocery store is slightly out of the way so it's never super busy and is typically stocked well as well as the Starbucks that's on site. Never a long wait or long lines in general for both businesses. I also use this pharmacy here and it as well has very short lines if any at all the pharmacist Andrew is very kind and professional. I'd recommend any 1 of these businesses here

Typical bad service this morning. No checkers and there were at least a dozen people attempting to do self-checkout. Put my stuff down and walked out after five minutes of standing in line. I've had this occur several times over the past several months. Oh, it's not a lack of employee's. I see people who work there all over the place. Just none checking people out. (Perhaps it's a training issue? Cross train your employee's.) Doesn't matter as they don't care. I spoke to a district manager, and then the store manager, several months ago about the same issue. Usual lip service about customer service. Please. These people don't even know what customer service is. I keep going back here as it's convenient. No more. Sprout's now has my business. Oh, and BTW, they are actually cheaper in price! (Safeway is charging $9.99 for 18 eggs? LOL!) Again, no more.Part 2 of this review, as I can't see to find where to reply to Safeway's response to me.Again, typical lip-service response. Does the store manager, or the distract manager, know anything in regards to retail? Two simple rules: Get people in and get them out, as quickly as possible. I'M TRYING TO GIVE YOU MY MONEY BUT THERE'S NO ONE THER TO TAKE IT! If I were the CEO of Albertson's or whatever the parent company is of Safeway, I'd be flipping out just reading this! (Assuming of course He/She knows anything about retail.) Hire another person to hang around the registers, so when customers come up to check-out, they can. But oh no, what happens? Greed. Why? Because you can't have someone just hanging around, right? So, you put them to work stocking shelves, cleaning floors, etc., etc., and once again, same issue. So, thank you for your worthless reply, but until someone in your company learns something about retail and customer service, it's a dead end discussing anything with anyone in your organization.

I get all my prescriptions from their pharmacy. The entire pharmacy staff led by Andrew are always so kind, patient, and professional. The same goes for the rest of the staff who make it easy to shop there.

Twice in two consecutive days, the vegetables that have been purchased have been rotten. You don't think to look for rot because a grocery store is supposed to check on their produce. Guess that's not the case here...

It's a grocery store, to be honest not sure what much else you can say. The staff seem very friendly and helpful and you should use the app to scan any coupons you might need.I won't take any points off but it is noticeable that there is a supply chain issue happening now, if you eat jimmy dean's breakfast sandwiches or other select items they sell out fast and do not restock often.

Ordered a breakfast burrito with bacon egg provolone cheese and fresh avocado. While they were fixing it I went to the restroom came back he was ready got back left to go to work got my destination they had put pepper jack cheese and guacamole. Could not eat it because I'm allergic to onions which they have in the guacamole. Devin needs to pay more attention on how he is making his sandwiches

This place is well stocked clean and friendly.The produce is almost always fresh and in stock.They still cut most of their meat here which means you can ask for a thicker cut and they have a good selection.The deli is fresh and what's supposed to be hot is hot and what is supposed to be cold is cold.Dairy is well stocked and fresh.The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is because they are expensive. So much that their ad items seem to be higher priced than the other stores... Regular prices. Maybe it's just perception but that's the way I feel when I go there.

The store is decent enough, Staff is always pleasant and willing to help and are no doubt exceptional personnel. None of that is my problem. You see, this store is ridiculously overpriced, a more common theme amongst current and modern day corporations looking to capitalize on location and the lack of any competitions. Simply put, it's good old-fashioned price gouging. I'm just not one that can tolerate these business culture's and practices any longer. Regardless of their "Just for you" program and questionable sales, it makes up for it not..

No complaints. Check out lines are faster now that they have some self service registers. I can find organic foods and antibiotic free animal products. The bakery makes amazing cookies.

My husband and I decided to order our wedding cake at Safeway. My husband spoke with Brianna over the phone and got price quotes, etc. He said she was very helpful and kind. When we drove up to Prescott a week before our wedding, we spoke with Jenn & she was very nice as well. She took notes for Margie (the pastry chef.) We later spoke with Margie on the phone and confirmed all the details. She was happy to help and answered our questions. She told us she would be there til 3 on the day we were picking up the cake. However, she ended up leaving early that day so we didn’t get to thank her in person. No one was working in the bakery, but we were able to find an employee to help us. It took her a while to find the cake. It was worth the wait though. The cake looked beautiful and our guests really enjoyed it! It turned out just the way we wanted it to. Margie froze the cake for us so that it was easier to transport it to our reception venue. She did an excellent job! All of the cakes on display in the bakery looked amazing! My husband and I joked about wanting to try them all. Margie is very talented. 😊On an unrelated note, one of the bathroom doors was broken and it didn’t lock. I accidentally walked in on someone going to the bathroom. Hopefully it has been fixed by now.

This store has always been top notch. I worked for Safeway for more than 8 years, including this store and it has always had excellent customer service. I haven't worked for Safeway since 2001. I brought my wife out here to visit my home town from Missouri. We both love Prescott and had a wonderful experience at my old work place...

I use my fuel saver card all the time. Facilities are clean and generally well stocked. Nice people, and the regular shopping crowd is friendly and quiet.
