Super nice employees....but this is now one of the crazy expensive goodwills. A typical $29 stereo reciever is now $129. Walmart house brand ozark trail boots that walmart sells for $19.99 new is $24 used. I purchased a mint Roomba with all accessories at the suprise goodwill for 24$ last week. The same model roomba that was missing the charging base was $79 here.

I haven’t been to goodwill in a very long time. I could not believe the prices. $10.99 for a STAINED top i could not believe my eyes 😱 and not just a little stain a big stain that was very noticeable. Shopped around a little more hoping it would get better, but everything is extremely overpriced. I’m so shocked. We shouldn’t be supporting goodwill anymore, please donate to local 2nd hand shops they need it more.

As per thrift store shopping, it's hit and miss. You might not find what you went there for but you'll spot something else you need. Some people feel guilty if they don't buy something when they browse a store. Keep focused on your goal. You're not there to help pay their bills. Visit often but don't feel obligated. That being said, I took my time and didn't settle and ended up getting darn near everything I needed for my new home that was completely empty of furnishings and my cost was around 300. Yay to thrift stores

I have to admit I have shopped at the store for years and I am very disappointed after an experience this morning. I wanted to donate a rug and a plant stand and as I pulled behind the building there was an employee throwing dozens of dishes into a trash container. You could hear them shattering. All of the dishes look to be in good shape and some were even matched sets. We are talking dozens of dishes that most of us probably have in our homes. I asked why are you throwing these out? I explained I'm a social worker we could donate these to homeless veterans and people in shelters that are getting set up with section 8 housing. The team just looked at me and said "recycle, reuse, and sell".I went into the store thinking maybe I would pick up a couple of quick t-shirts. All of the t-shirts were used, and were in worse shape than the dishes, being being sold for $6 a piece. I left without purchasing anything and I probably won't shop or donate there again.I may be naive but now I am no longer a Goodwill shopper at that store.

I received a lot of help from a young man named John while I was there. Despite me catching me on his way to take a break he took several minutes to help me out and was friendly and patient. He helped me find two things I didn't expect to find. Unexpectedly good customer service and workplace knowledge. Thanks John!

Will never shop there again due to the fact that fittings rooms are no longer available. If you purchase clothing you must try it on at home, if it does not fit and wish to return it you only get a credit. Seems once you buy it there is no refund. Give it time Goodwill you will loose customers.

The store Management was really bad, Where Goodwill use to be reasonable this store has turned community donations into a higher end retail store, Heck go to Walmart and get better deals on brand new items, I say Goodwill definitely is now up all their prices and no longer acts in goodwill for the people,But as exspensive as some retail stores,Plus have to deal with nasty attitude in management.

I am pretty disappointed. I bought a shirt from there and wore it today to discover it has a whole bunch of holes in it. If you sell clothes with holes you should take a 6.99 shirt and drop it to a dollar or 50 cents. I'm pretty disappointed because I loved the shirt I bought . Goodwill reevaluate the cost of your clothes and inspect them before selling them. Stop being a store with Walmart prices. Your a thrift store remember people no matter what class do like to dress nice .

Been coming here for years, the prices now are ridiculous especially for the less fortunate, I see people with money buying and reselling ugh, also the racks in some sections are way over full, just drop the price to real cheap or free and clear out some things plz.

horrid goodwill it was terrible i hated it so much and it was like purgatory it was like i couldn’t leave and the cashier was so slow and eveything was so expensive for a hood will terrible place don’t go like actually there’s no reason this stuff needed to be that expensive it was like a whole retirement home died and left eveything there don’t go

Many people are saying this spot is "hit or miss" but I would like to propose that it is a complete miss. Everything is overpriced and stacking up to dangerous levels on the shelves. When you do find something that you've been searching for you might as well have bought it on ebay in better condition with free shipping. Also, paperback books priced at 3.50? What is this?I suggest you donate and shop at one of the many other excellent thrift stores in Prescott. Ex: D.A.V, N.O.A.H, CCJ, Humane society, and Habitat. Not only are these places priced well but they support genuine causes within the Tri City area.Goodwill is corporate greed at its worst; attacking the lower class who can't afford to shop anywhere but secondhand.

I like this place. But I like it mostly on the every other 50% off Saturdays! I always find what I need and a lil more even. The quality of things are usually pretty decent and every electrical unit that I've purchased has worked well. I drop in and drop out quickly. The parking lot is big and there are usually enough spots. this place can become pretty crowded and rowdy on 50% Saturdays so it's best to get in there early because once the crowd starts it doesn't stop. Overall this is a very fun place to come and shop with the sisters and with mom and it's my go to shop spot. 😁

2/29/20 - I walked into goodwill after hearing about their 50% off Saturday Special, and seeing "Sale Saturday, all tags 50% off" posted on their window. I went around and found some baby clothes to purchase and when I went to purchase them, the cashier told me the total was $19.89. I just decided to purchase them even though only three items were marked as 50% off. I left the building and took three steps over to the sign in their window to ensure that I hadn't missed any fine print. All it said was that drinks, seasonal items, and "new items" were exempt from the deal.I then decided that I didn't want to spend this much money on the few items that I had purchased, seeing as I was expecting to get them dirt cheap. So I walked back inside to return a few of the more expensive items. I waited in line and asked the cashier if she could return my items to which she replied, "I don't do that" very rudely. She then directed me to another register where I waited five minutes for the manager to show up. He gave me a dirty look and said, "hi." I then told him that I wanted to keep a few items, as he just grabbed my bag and started scanning everything. He then looked at my receipt with the purchase time being no less than five minutes ago and said, "you didn't make it very far." I then told him that I thought today was the 50% off sale saturday, as clearly posted in the window, to which he laughed at me. He then said that because I left the store I could only get in-store credit. Even though I literally took three steps out of the store to view their sale sign. There was obviously no arguing with this grouch, so I took my $15 store credit and left. This goodwill has always had the most rude employees, but today was my last straw. They posted misleading information about their sale, laugh at me misunderstanding the sale, then refuse to give me my money back after I take three steps out of the building.Horrible service, horrible staff, I refuse to ever visit this goodwill again. I wish I'd have gotten the manager's name because I'd report him to the CEO of Goodwill. I wish I could give 0 stars.

Prices are too high. Cloths should be much more reasonable. It's pretty greedy when you can get new clothes at some stores for less then a through store that has been given cloths. The drop off help is amazing.

Thought military day was Saturday. Purchased $120 worth of goods, only to find out I came the wrong day. Checker said to contact management and they'd probably give it to me so I wouldn't have to bring it back the next day. Called today. They literally said I should of waited the 12 hours to purchase. Awesome way to treat military! Will never be back.

I go to thrift stores all the time and I’m very familiar how the sales and extra discounts work. This location is by far my least favorite. They have damaged several pieces of furniture I have bought, most of the staff is downright rude and act like you’re an inconvenience to them. But today what I saw made me not want to return ever again. I walked in at 9:05 only to find that all the employees were walking around the store pulling items with pink tags into back room. The sign in the front said that today’s color for half off was pink. That’s an incredibly unethical practice I didn’t expect to ever see from this organization.

Better than average goodwill with lots of parking. I always find something amazing here. In particular, they have a really big toy section. When my first son was born I bought him most of his first toys here!

I love browsing in this thrift store. You never know what you will find. 3 stars because the prices are outrageous. They have dollar store items they have priced for 3 or 4 bucks. Wal-Mart clothes are more expensive then they were when they were new

The only reason I give a 2 rating is because 1/2 off Saturdays. Definatly not a good atmosphere. Ive had employees be very rude to me, but the worse is the over powering fragrance in the air. If this doesn't give me a migraine, then the employees in the back play music so loud it would rival a concert would. It shakes the walls and floors which are concrete. I leave with a headache and nauseous. For a company that is supposed to care about those with disabilities they don't make an environment for someone with disabilities to shop. I will try Prescott valley next time.Update! Upon leaving Lily checked us out. This was the sweetest lady there was. Because of her I raise my review to 3. She is a five star employee!

Their color code is confusing on the men's and other items I got a orange code discount at the at the willow creek store on men's shorts. Then I went to the Iron springs store and men's shorts had purple tags . Orange code discount was today's code was at Iron springs as well. I should of got the discount on on men's shorts as well , couldn't because of the purple tag's. Their prices were higher at the Iron springs store. No consistency among Goodwill stores.

I paid cash for a blouse that didn't fit right, and I returned it (with all tags and receipt) the next day. Very long line and was told I was in the wrong line when I got to the cashier. Another long line, and I was given a gift card. I suppose I expected to get cash back, since that was how I paid for the blouse. The experience was not pleasant, took a long time, and the staff all seemed to be having a bad day. I will not be returning to this thrift store.

I Purchased a vacuum cleaner at Goodwill, but was unable to carry it home that day, because my vehicle was too small. I prepaid for the vacuum and was assured by two employees that it would be held for 48 hours for pickup. When I returned 48 hours later, I was informed that my vacuum had been put in the return pile the day before and returned to the floor where it was apparently sold. They refunded my money, but I had already made a special 40 mile round trip in my truck only to return home empty-handed. So, now I'm out the cost for fuel as well as at least an hour and a half of my valuable time. In my opinion, this is not a very responsible way to run a store, thrift or otherwise.

Very sad this store has really gone downhill. They are charging way too much for a lot of items and the cashiers always have some type of issue. The last four times I’ve gone in I’ve had to wait and wait for someone in the back to fix a tag or add a tag or price something. Please give the cashier the power to price things
