Wonderful employees!A woman was dropped off by a hurried Uber driver and told us Girl Scout parents at a cookie booth that she needed someone to call when she was done because she didn't have a phone and didn't know how. He left her standing at our cookie booth table.I didn't get the managers name- tall, well dressed man, light blue shirt- he took care of getting her inside to shop and called a cab when she was done. Another assistant manager- young, shorter woman, curly hair- ensured her cab was coming, brought her a handicart to sit on while she waited, and had very patient and kind conversations with her.While inside shopping and using their very clean restroom, I heard many interactions with customers. It was a very busy Saturday afternoon and no one seemed anxious or rushed.This Fry's is no where near my home, but if I'm in the area, I'll make a point of remembering to do my shopping there!

Great grocery store. They have all of the name brand and store brand, Kroger, items. Friendly staff.Just watch when they bag your groceries; some of the younger baggers place heavy items on top of your softer items, along with pizzas sideways in the cart.They do have a senior day and a double or triple fuel price day, which is nice.

the cashier at self checkout was incredibly disrespectful and rude to me. I was having issues processing my card at self checkout, and had to make a quick call to figure it out. The lady with gray hair kept coming over and sighing loudly in my face to show how annoyed she was that I was taking too long. She was mumbling under her breath too. Completely shocked at the treatment I received as a paying customer. Has she never struggled in her life before?

My wife and I just got publicity humiliated in the self check out in front of maybe 20 to 30 people. Tall slender woman with grayish blonde hair accused us of stealing from them and then when we proved her wrong she, without apology, said she was just doing her job. We are just like any other average customer out there that spends on average of 200.00 per week at that store. Apparently this is too much money. They can do without ours. We will take our 10000.00 per year elsewhere. This woman has no business working with the public. This is not how you treat people. If you're that worried about theft, please feel free to hire checkers and eliminate self check out.

Was shopping today and heard an obvious manager talk rudely and demeaning to a younger employee. Saying her performance wasn’t “good enough”. It’s quite obvious this manager needs training on how to work better and communicate with employees.

Don't usually post but I am particularly frustrated with this Fry's. I have been living close to this store and shopping here for 10 years. For the last several years they are consistently out of at least 1 item I go to the store for. Usually however it is multiple items I need. After reading other reviews it seems to confirm what I had thought, and the management is poor which reflects how the stock of the store looks.

3 stars overall from a long time customer - read on though.I typically like this Frys. Usually clean, well organized, good selection of things that some of the other Frys don't stock - esp around Passover etc. for example.Today I went past the deli.I spotted tamales. Intrigued - but wouldn't have purchased anyway - I peeked to get a closer look. I've posted a picture- image is them at the front of the glass - just like it shows. It's really bad. I don't know what those were, but they weren't tamales and whatever they are, they shouldn't have been the case. (This reminded me of another grocery store that has a deli case out of a B horror movie. You'll have to see the other reviews to know which one that is.)Reading other recent reviews - it seems like there is a lot going on at this Frys. I want to see it do well, and this needed noting.And yes I'll let corporate know too - as should anyone having a complaint about this Frys or really any business - because all too often the info here doesn't go to the people and departments that it needs to go to.

My biggest beef with Fry's is that I've gone to the deli several times in the late afternoon to buy fried chicken for a dinner party and the deli was closed. Fry's own website does not show the deli having different hours than the main store, and it seems silly to close the deli right when the people would be the most likely to be looking for dishes for dinner.

Horrible customer service, we have been on hold for 20+ min on two accounts now.When approaching a manager with an issue they blow off your concerns.Betty A was very rude, aggressive and childlike clapping in my face and addressing me extremely inappropriately. On two accounts now I have witnessed her specifically show prejudice towards me and laugh and joke with others of her own race. It is unfair and unkind how she was allowed to get away with this with no managerial interference. When I mentioned my concerns she laughed in my face and told me that her customers love her and continued to clap and laugh at me and inform me she would see me next time.

I went in 30 minutes to close and speed shopped. I had to ask a few different employees where I can find items and they were all really friendly and helpful. Always discounts during checkout, even without a rewards phone number. The produce is always fresh too. Solid spot for sure

Great market, has everything you'll need. Big selection, pickup, great meat and produce section. Has a gas station with fuel points as well so you can save some 💰.

The store is clean and bright. Most of the employees are friendly and helpful. Don't bother using the north doors in the evening. They're locked- and that's where they keep the shopping carts. Use the app if you want to take advantage of the sales.

In the past we would shop almost exclusively at this Fry's. Mostly because of it being close to our home. We will not be shopping there any more. There are many great things about this store. Yet, it is under staffed in most departments, and this causes stress on the employees that are working hard to keep up with the demands of the high volume of customers. The customers get angry and voice their complaints and management does not back their employees and this causes both sides to act out in a rude and negative manner. The management at this Fry's location seems to care less about their employees and customers. They need adequate staff but so not so what it takes to support and keep their employees. They need to create an environment that will help keep the good employees. Unfortunately, many excellent workers have left out of frustration. Please bare in mind that: fault lies directly on management, and not the over burdened help.

The store sucks. Everytime I go there with my 30 year old daughter and I try to by alcohol they ask her for her ID. Today the cashier wanted to argue with me about the policy and "threatened " to not sell me the beer. Needless to say I gave her the beer back and send your policy is stupid and the store sucks. Not coming back ever. See you at the safeway!

Let me start out by saying no store whatsoever. This Fry's, the one by the corner of Fair Street and Miller Creek road. This has been my primary grocery store. I've been shopping there for22 years. That itself should tell you something. They keep the store (including the bathrooms) very clean. Most of the floor staff are friendly and helpful.

Like many who have posted, the Fry's store on Willow Creek needs more engaged management. Again yesterday, the deli was closed apparently due to lack of staffing at 2:30 pm. - There was no sign posted indicating it was closed, so folks were standing around the counter area wondering what the hell was going on. The produce employees indicated some have just quit or don't show up for work, I spoke to a manager (female, did not get her name) who came up with all kinds of excuses as to why this continues to be a problem at her store. "People constantly yell and scream at us about the deli." -- I suggested cross training other employees, borrowing from other Fry's stores, incentives, etc. but it fell on deaf ears. She was standing around with another employee taking NO LEADERSHIP ROLE in solving the problem and at LEAST, make sure deli customers were notified -- part of the problem here could be her lack of leadership. They even said, 'Do you want a job?' (insulting customers - this is a training red flag).I tried to reach the district manager at his/her office in the PV store - I was told by an employee that the public CANNOT speak to the DM and refused to give me a name or contact number except to call Kroger -- so I tried to call Kroger and was on hold for nearly 30 minutes - the 'customer service' call taker refused to provide DM info or discuss any issue without answering a series of questions and providing a Kroger club card number. It was like a background check for the CIA --How this company operates under these circumstances is unbelievable. I really feel sorry for the seniors who come to Fry's expecting the deli to be open yet intimidated to confront the manager when it is not. Even when the deli is open, it is always short staffed -- the store is full of employees buzzing around like ants, but they DARE not enter the deli apparently --THIS IS SIMPLY A LEADERSHIP ISSUE --- SO SAD -- I have reached out to Kroger by email and IM, but have heard nothing.I recommend some training for upper management before the store's reputation sinks further.Dwight

The store is always nice and clean, and the layout is pretty good.My problem with this particular one is the quick list option. Without fail. There will always be a problem, missing items that were not told about until we get home. Always being told that items are out of stock but when I go inside they're completely full on the shelf. And the most annoying ones are the quality of items, do not order meats, milk, fruit or vegetables on the quick list as you will receive items that are already moldy will expire in the next day or just the fattiest nastiest quality of meats they have on the shelf. This happens without fail every single time, Even today they switched out to deli cheeses we ordered with craft singles, then stated that a certain type of ship was out of stock but the shelf is completely full. And I had to go inside and switch out both gallons of milk because the gallons they gave me were going to expire tomorrow.

Shannon S in floral is talented, professional and an effing fabulous designer.I had a fabulous experience today. I was looking for wide-mouth quart size pickling jars. I looked at the mason jars on the baking aisle, no luck. Over to the housewares, no luck. So I see a in-store Frys worker named Shannon, I asked her and showed her the example on display (which were the wide mouth quart size Kerr mason jars); not only did she stop doing what she was doing, she walked me to the baking aisle, found the empty shelf where the mason jars were supposed to be, then went to CS and radioed and asked when they will back in stock or are they in the back? She found out they come on tonight. I know this top notch, stellar employee is a keeper!!🌞See you tomorrow 😉Well today, another 5 star experience...Misael the Bakery Manager, I believe made sure my husband will get his triple cherry 🍒 pie fir father's day. Another stellar employee. ✨️Almost everyday I interact with John from self-checkout...today I was blessed and lucky to see him at the full checkout today. One of the kindest most helpful workers in the store and always has a great disposition. 3rd stellar employee's to brag about!!🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

This is the most rudest Fry's store. I try to stay out of it too many rude employees. I don't get that experience at the on in PV or the other Prescott store. I shop at Fry's in several Phoenix locations too and they are nice! Someone needs to straighten this store up!

Store was poorly staffed, and Portlay stocked stop by on a Saturday right before noon and they did not have any fried chicken even started cooking. The lady in deli was annoyed that we asked and blamed Fry’s for not giving them enough help. She’s probably right.

Fry's has consistently great produce and the meat department is always well stocked with a good variety of meats. Fry's also has weekly sales in the meat department so I always stock up.
