EDIT: Based on the owner's response below, I am adding additional comments.First off, I did a typo and she was dropped off around 10:30am.We had visited the facility before making a reservation. The young lady working the front desk did not tell us that they had nice beds for the dogs. We weren't told anything about what to bring the dog food in. In fact, I had to call and ask about packingthe food before we brought our pet in.I am not "blasting" the nice young man who brought our dog out to us. He really was very nice! I am just stating what happened and what was said. He should have offered some kind of explaination and apology, or something. Why would we need to say something at the time, as it was right there in front of us.In the future, you should give customers a printout of how your system works, what is provided and what to bring. This would have been very helpful.______________This was our first time using this facility. My husband arrived to drop off our dog on a Saturday, around 10:30pm. It took 10-15 minutes for someone to come to the counter. Upon picking our dog up a week later, the guy working the front area brought her out with her bed and bag of belongings. The bed zipper was ripped apart and the bed was wet on the underside. The guy said, "You can easily sew it." (It isn't repairable.) The fabric bag of her belongings was also ripped. Lastly, she stunk. We will not leave our pet here in the future.

I brought my German shepherd Molly here about two weeks ago. She stayed with you folks for 3 days. When I first arrived at Doggie Dude Ranch, the place seemed well kept and organized. I waited in the reception room for about 20 minutes before a lady with an attitude decided to help me. She treated me as if she was doing me a favor. There was no sense of kindness or decency, and this gave me a bad feeling. My options were limited though, and I needed someplace for my dog to stay. Another young lady came out and assured me my dog was in good hands. Overall, my initial visit was lacking. The young lady wouldn’t even give me a tour. Fast forward three days later and I arrived to pick Molly up. This time, a younger gentleman by the name of Matt brought Molly out to me and I could tell by the way Matt handled my dog that he truly cared about her. It was like night and day compared to the way I was treated when I first came in. He took the time to tell me about how she did , and he showed care and empathy. He was kind, patient, and considerate. You folks need more employees like him. He even walked me to my truck and thanked me for trusting them with her care. This was my only good experience at doggie daycare. Every other employee I encountered treated me as if I was a nuisance. Just another customer. But this young man took the time to talk to me and put all my worries to ease about Molly.

New management no longer displays grooming price at drop off.For Bath, Brush and Nails (no hair trim) upcoming pricing change was posted on front desk latter part of 2023 that prices were going up from $35 to $37 on 1/01/24 (Same price for the last three years). Apparently, policy has changed and actual cost when you pickup pet depending on how long grooming takes. Dog was always brushed weekly and pre-brushed morning of or day prior to the service to make it easier for the groomer. Owner simply needs to post pricing changes more clearly before the customer comes in for the service.Anyone should be aware when a business notes they "fire" customers. Customers come and go based on the service provided for the price. Had I known they were increasing their prices 43% vs 6%, I would have looked for alternative options prior.

Excellent place to take your pets for boarding or doggie daycare!! They love it and they come home exhausted from all the fun!!! The staff is so friendly and helpful. Highly recommend Doggie Dude Ranch.

My dogs are really happy when staying there and they actually eat while there. My older dog doesn't usually eat or eat much when I am gone. But, he eats and is very happy. They have grooming services, so they can get all cleaned up the day they come home... bonus!

I know my Lil boy Tonka is in very good hands when I’m at work and running errands. In fact he loves going to “School” ... Love the folks who care for and groom my dogs here! Makaila routinely gives my dogs deshedding baths and trims their nails for a fair price. It really helps to reduce the hair in my home. I drive from Flag to get services here. Lots of dog love in this establishment! Thanks dudes and dudettes!

We are happy with Doggie Dude ranch. Our dog does not have a problem going there and seems happy and healthy when we pick him up. Have used several times with no issues. Would definitely recommend.

Great staff, great atmosphere. My four pups love their time here. They are always excited to enter the building and always come home happy after their stay here. Pricing is fair and reasonable. If you are looking to book for a holiday make sure you book well in advance! I highly recommend this facility.

We showed up unannounced to meet the staff and tour the Doggie Dude Ranch and the people we spoke w could not of been nicer!Our dog is a rescued Black Mouth Cur and we are nervous about leaving her anywhere. She is w us 24/7 but we need to find somewhere else she can be should we need to go out of town and she can’t go along with us.We will start slowly w first bringing our dog by to check the place out by sniffing the air and hearing all of the sounds outside of the facility and then move onto doggie daycare. We want our sweet dog to understand she’s not going to be left behind and we will be back EVERY TIME!!!

We dropped off our two dogs for a two night stay. When we were greeted, the staff was lack luster and did not seen happy to be there. I asked for a tour and was shown only a small hallway and a small play area. I did not have a great feeling about the place but left them anyway. We picked up our dog on a Sunday and again staff seemed nice enough but just not happy to be there. I felt like our dogs did not get enough exercise at all and were in the kennel most of the day. They told me they would have about 5 15 min small play sessions. In the small area that they showed me my 2y/o German Shepherd would never get tired in 5 15 min play sessions. Doggy dude claims to be a luxury ranch. There is certainly no “ranch” where your dogs can run around all day and it is definitely not luxury. Our dogs are our family and I want the best. Give it a a shot for yourself but most of the reviews here are prior to covid. It seems it has affected the place and I will not be bringing my dogs back.

Great friendly staff that cares about your pets the way you would at home. Your pets will love it just as much as you love them. The bather is incredible and is well experienced. The kennel techs are smart and well trained in animal care. The front desk staff are friendly and always helpful.

Brought both of our dogs in for a 10 day stay We picked them up on a Saturday and come Tuesday both dogs were severely ill with kennel cough required a long expensive visit to the vet to include shots to stop choking and vomiting Called the kennel and requested a call back to advise them and did not receive a call back The dogs are both healthy and strong Staffordshire terriers it’s hard to believe the infection brought them both down Do they not sanitize or take precautions ? I find it hard to believe many other dogs that were there at the same time are not ill as well. Today is week 2 and the dogs are still on antibiotics . In the past we have always taken our dogs there and never had a problem but it’s been 5 years So I paid almost 600.00 for the kennel and 500.00 for medical care after Not good!

Our dog came from a rescue. They found her in a run down shack emaciated trying to take care of her six puppies. She's still very fearful of men and loud noises. So we weren't sure she'd be ok in boarding. We had to leave her there for five days. But when we picked her up she was super happy and outgoing! It turns out the staff found another dog she could play with. Our dog's also a pitbull and usually doesn't get along well with other dogs. Thank you Doggie Dude Ranch for taking that extra time to make her feel more comfortable.

We dropped my dog off for a 6 day stay with the doggie dude ranch. I thought it was going to be a positive experience because of all the positive reviews but we did not. First, we were never given any updates on our dog the entire time he was there, not even when he started to show signs of getting sick. When I picked him up immediately noticed that my dog was not acting himself and was wheezing. The ranch never said anything about his symptoms but he ended up getting extremely sick with kennel cough and an ear infection. When we called to let them know that our dog was sick (out of concern for other dogs he was in contact with) they didn't seem to care and never asked if our dog was even feeling okay. Yes, they provided our dog with his basic needs but we got the sense that they don't care about the animals they board as much as they claim too. Its really unfortunate we had such a horrible experience but I would never bring my dog back to this business.

BEST BY FAR place to leave your animals!!! I drive all the way from Cottonwood to take my animals to the Doggie Dude Ranch. All the employees go above and beyond to make sure I am comfortable when leaving my 4 legged kiddos with them. They occomodate me with any and all of my requests. My dog loves this place.

Great service. Been using them for over two years now. I own two older dogs (8 and 11). The staff is friendly and always love on my girls. They treat my older girl with such care and always tell me of any "difficulties." My younger girl sneaks the older dogs food. The staff keep the girls apart when eating and never have any problems with this situation. I love this place and reservations are so easy. We always take the girl's bed and food (plus snacks). I guess I am a bit OCD but want my girls to have a great vacation. They are always happy to see us but seem well cared for when we get them. I swear my younger girl gains weight every vacation she takes with Doggie Dude. They really love my labs. :)

Our dog is 50 percent Pit30 percent Chow and 20 percent who the knows. (Mutt).We got her from a rescue, "Yavapia Trappers".She's a bit skittish around other dogs...and people...just about everything and everyone!When we board her here they're able to find a dog she can get along with and play.When we pick her up...it's like, "Hey back so soon? I'm having too much fun here!".Definitely a good signTRAVEL 😁 HAPPY

A great place to bring your dog for a nail trim. The staff is top notch. My 94 year old mom brought her dog, Mitzi. They took her in right away and they were done in just a few minutes!

We have been taking our dog here for years and we love it. My dog cries to go when we drive by. I can't even walk the dog in because she drags me in. My husband has to walk her in. When we run into the workers when we are walking, they stop and pet the dog and play with her. She always smells great after a grooming and is so happy when we pick her up after a stay. My mother in law's dog is terrified being boarded but loves going to the dude ranch. We have had nothing but wonderful experiences and treatment here.

I was hesitant to take our dog-avoidant Yorkie, Peaches, to any sort of doggie day care, but I thought I'd give it a try at Doggie Dude Ranch. With their gentle care and encouragement, Peaches now has friends she looks forward to hanging out with, and she goes twice a week for her play time. It seems to me that everyone who works there takes the time to really get to know the dogs and find the best way to make their stay pleasurable. Thanks!

I am so grateful for the peace of mind I get when I must travel away from home and I can take my Australian Shepard Scooter to C Bar C Doggie Dude Ranch and know the quality care he will recieve is the BEST! Many of my real estate clients when coming to the area with their pets when home shopping will ask me...do you know of a place I can board my pet while here for a day or week? Top of mind is C Bar C Doggie Dude Ranch. Scooter says ..thank you for the love he receives while there!
