Today I went into the store to buy a pair of work pants. They had two different prices on the pants ,also they were 20% off. When I started to question her about what they had rung up for, she seemed a little annoyed. I pointed out that two different prices on them. She said she would have to call her manager. When she did so he was not able to answer because he was in an interview process with a prospective applicant. She then said it would take a while, and when I did not answer her, she started to tap her fingernails on the counter, like it was my problem. I then brought to her attention that I was a paying customer and the person that was being interviewed was maybe going to be a future employee. I also told her that she could go knock on the door and get the manager because paying customers were more important than a prospective employee. She then started to walk around the counter and took a huge breath in and let out a sigh, like I was being the problem. I also want to add that I never once raised my voice or interjected a sarcastic tone .I just was not gonna accept her lack of caring, she did not like that. The manager then came out and took care of it Promptly and effectively. This is not the first time I’ve had issues with the lack of customer service. This, is however ,the worst I have dealt with it.

Always an issue with inventory on certain items. Today I came in looking for a dog treat they were out of one month ago. It wasn’t on the floor so I asked to check their computer, which showed they had 40 on hand. So I waited for them to look for them. They said they couldn’t find them so I asked when I can i expect the next shipment which I was told they don’t know. I spoke with the manager Julie asking why this is a continuous issue. This is the 5th time I’ve come in the last year that they are out on the floor but have some “hidden” in the back. The manager Julie responded it’s their busiest time of year and they don’t have time to look for one more small. She continued on with excuses that she has to cover the whole store, they only do investor checks once a month ect ect. She even told me is my problem that corporate one refill the order. The amount of excuses was insane. The last time they received them was July and no one seemed to check since then? I couldn’t get a straight answer just more excuses. I’ve dealt with two managers here and both have the worst customer service I’ve ever seen.

Where is Customer Service today? My wife came in here alone with 6 of our small children to shop for our homestead. There were NO flatbed carts, just the regular grocery store carts, with very limited space in them for feed bags. She loaded it up by herself which is to be expected, she got to the checkout. The lady looks at her and says, well you are going to need to pull each bag out so I can scan it? My wife at this point is holding our two twins in her hand and she puts them down and starts pulling out the bags so the lady can scan them. She doesn't offer to help or get someone to help her pull them out and scan them. The other C-A-L Ranch store in PV's employees are super helpful and are always there to lend a hand. Tractor Supply I know how dare I say their names :) actually, have it set up so you can have them bring it out to your car for you and ALWAYS ask if you need help out. I just don't understand what is going on with today's workers. If someone looks like they need help and asks for assistance, don't just stand there and ask them to do more! They have great feed at decent prices and have typically been super helpful at the other MAIN location in PV, but she was in this area and thought they would have helpful people, we will NEVER be going back to this location again!

I love our CAL Ranch store. If you are a rancher or farmer or outdoors-man you are going to love this place. It is a lot like Tractor Supply in some ways but has a much bigger selection of everything except tractor equipment. They have a great selection of western wear, work clothes, boots, camping, hunting, fishing, guns, ammo, reloading, tack, pet food, seasonal poultry, lawn and garden. If you need a BBQ grill, this is the place to come. Great selection. This is also your go to place for Stihl chain saws, blowers and weed eaters. They also have usually one of the lowest prices in town for propane. Sometimes their tank is empty so call ahead.

This is one of my favorite stores. My kids and wife shop here too. I love it when they get my birthday gifts here as well as father's day. They got me a couple of guns, a BBQ smoker, tools, and clothes and boots. Like I said it's my favorite store. Something for everyone including the animals. The store is even dog friendly so don't leave the pooch in the car. There is even a groomer in the back of the store. If you can't find it just ask Pete and he will order it for you.

Great selection of western wear. A special thank you to Jordyn for all of her expert help in putting together an awesome outfit for tonight. I love the boots she helped me pick out! Jordyn helped me with all of my shopping experience, literally. She even somehow made her way to a checkout stand and rung up my purchase. Overall, I am beyond impressed and rate my experience as one of the best shopping experiences. Definitely choose C-A-L Ranch Stores.

I came in here to buy some ammunition today and the guys behind the counter were helpful. They have a nice selection of goodies at this store and good prices. I recommend coming here for all of your sportsman type stuff.

Trying to sell feed that's a year old is disgusting. Especially for the inflated prices Cal ranch charges. I would think a feed store would actually care about the quality they're selling..... selling year old feed is NOT good business and not good for the animals they claim they care about.

We have had several poor experiences here. Our normal hay store was not stocked so we purchased hay here and we were told to go to pull around the back. The cashier radio-d somebody to meet us back there. We waited and waited. We rang the doorbell. We called the store twice. Finally got ahold of someone who said they would send someone back. Another 12 minutes later we called them back and were told once again someone was coming. The store was not busy at this time. The quality of the hay was far less than poor. It wasn't covered at all so was already brown. One of our goats got very sick. We also purchased a chicken coop from this store less than 4 months ago and paid extra for the $600 coop already assembled on the floor. Well it was put together so poorly, we repaired the roof last month because they didn't nail on one side, and then last week the entire interior floor collapsed and broke because the trim holding it up had some missing nails as well.

But if you're going to post a sign out front saying "masks required", shouldn't all your employees be wearing them? Or, you know, get rid of the sign?

Love the store, if you need western wear or chicken feed, garden stuff, they have a great selection. I get my little dog groomed here. Wags to Whiskers... great people there.

I have bought lots of items between the Prescott and Flagstaff location recently had a 308 built the guy in flag gave me a knockoff 308 ammo I cannot use in my new gun. Tried to exchange it at the Prescott location and they were extremely rude. Apparently you cannot exchange ammo that should be noted and told to the customer at time of purchase. The two elderly male and female workers in the gun ammo area are extremely rude and disrespectful and should really look at retiring. Your staff should be friendly understanding and polite. I will not be shopping nor recommending CAL ranch from here on out. You do not get that kind of disrespect at sportsman's.

Fantastic selection of work-related supplies, including boots, clothing, tools, Etc. I looked all over the Quad City area for a good selection of slip-on leather boots, and finally found CAL Ranch which has a huge selection of boots. I will shop here again, and will recommend others to shop here as well. If you're looking for leather steel toe, slip resistant, waterproof boots, CAL Ranch is your place to go.

This place is a health hazard waiting to happen!! The employee's bathrooms have mold, vomit on the walls! Tile is missing/broken where customers walk, in the back where the employee's walk. Melissa, Kim and other managements DO NOT CARE for their employee's or customers health or safety! This store NEEDS TO BE REPORTED! The management there ONLY care about their paycheck and their bonuses! This is a FRANCHISE and the owner is CHEAP!! Apparently Melissa and Kim think I was an employee that worked there. They literally treated this employee extremely bad and accused HER of being ME!! Well I happen to know the now former employee!

If you have ever felt atwinge of country this is your store. From the drug store urban cowboy to the person who makes a living in the saddle, or the one who has a thousand acres or just loves the country life Cal-Ranch has what you're looking for. Farm or ranch, animal or machine they probably carry it. They have a good variety for the avid sportsman.... trapping, fishing, and hunting you'll find it. It's top of the list.

What a great place in Prescott for both men & women. Kids clothing & other kids stuff too. Not just work clothing, but hunting & camping gear, specializing in Carhart. Lots of ranchwear, boots & numerous lines of jeans. Equipment & limited decor for your home. Feed & pet food.

The staff is very nice and helpful. I go there for very fine shavings and they were out again. They weren't sure when they would get more.The store is clean and has some fun things there.

We called three times, got put on hold two of those times, and all we needed was a yes or no answer. Instead we waited on the phone for nearly 15 minutes without even being asked to be put on hold first or checked on to see if we were still waiting. So we called Olson's instead and took our business there when our question was answered promptly and with a friendly attitude.

I go to our local Cal Ranch alot since I became medically retired.I do buy often but enjoy looking around and especially talking to the guys in the gun area.Always please and I never get a bums rush attitude. Manager was rude talked behind my back to husband said I was complaining when I just was exsplaining why I didnt want full item costomer service guy said we had to buy exstra items or dont get the item we came forwe waitied for over an hr if the Employee and Ass Manager would have helped us and listened there wouldnt have been a problem.

Cal Ranch had a King Kutter Mower on sale . Went to the store in Prescott and they were sold out. Checked other stores ,same story. Told I can order it online which I did. Sale price plus shipping. After it was ordered and they had my money ,I was than notified by Cal Ranch it would be $180.00 more. Common Occurrence with Cal Ranch.VERY POOR Customer Service.

Check prices because nothing on the dog aisles rings up correctly. Compare the SKU on the product with the SKU on the package or you'll be on for a surprise.

The lady at Ooh La La sent me to Manzanita Outfitters because I wanted to look like a holographic donkey. Cal ranch had some livestock stuff but no porcupine suit.
