I have been visiting Al's for about a year for nail trims about every 7 weeks. At first my dog would squirm and fight (that's why we took him to the experts) and on our last few visits, he has been perfectly behaved, it was no big deal. They have earned my pup's trust and mine too. Their client's are always looking great after their groomimg and seem happy to be there. Great team!

When I messed up my dog's coat with a couple bad bad baths, Al was very gracious in getting me an appointment quickly to fix it when I called somewhat panicking. It wasn't as much for me, as the comfort of my dog. She was covered in matted fur and I had no idea what I was going to do with her.Everyone working seemed positive! Al was very personable, friendly and upbeat, great at communicating and so fast! Daisy was finished in about 2 hours. She looked great, was very happy and you could tell that everyone there genuinely cared for the dogs they were taking care of. I was really impressed and thankful and Daisy will be back 💗

These guys are amazing. I have 2 dogs, an older corgi mix and a young Great Pyrenees. I'm always able to get an appointment whenever I call, they are fast and efficient. They do such a good job on my Pyrenees who has a double coat and is always filthy and covered in burs no matter how many times I brush him at home. I have to muzzle my corgi at home when I trim his nails but he doesn't give them any sass and he's always so clean and fluffy when they're done. The price is very reasonable and my dogs LOVE coming to see them, the treats probably help...lol. 100% would recommend

Best dog groomer in Prescott. The staff is patient with my giant crazy dogs. (They are hyyyyper!) When I come in to pick them up , I've caught the owner playing with them! They smell great and are always beautiful with little bandannas when the job is finished. They are terrified of other groomers but I feel safe leaving them there! I can't possibly recommend anyone more!I wanted to add my recent experiences. They take nail trims with a walk in. Which is amazing. I've added a 3rd dog with no problems and they always schedule them together. There is new staff and they are also amazing. This place deserves a five and the staff deserves a 10. We love and adore this place and as an overprotective pet parent its the only place I will ever trust with my dogs. They have gotten to know them and treat them amazing!

My dog looks fantastic after being groomed at Al's Lucky Dog Grooming. I've never taken my dog to the groomer because I was worried the cost would be to much. Al's is absolutely affordable and I will for sure be going back. Thank you for the fantastic job you did, I couldn't be more happy!

I called and was able to bring my cat right in for nail trimming. My cat is very difficult. She hates having her nails cut. Al and his wife (I think) trimmed her nails in about 3 minutes. They were also very nice!!! I will definitely return often!!!

They did a very good job with my 4.5lb Shih Tzu and she look cute.What impressed me is they some how 'dog whispered' her into being in a pen with 5 other small dogs. Normally, she is hyper reactive and aggressive with other dogs but when I showed up, she was just chillin in the pen with all these other dogs. That has NEVER happened before. I can't take her to the dog park she is so obnoxious with other dogs.Crazy how kids behave different at school , away from parents and same for dogs at the groomer I guess.

Lady on the phone chastised me for not having my small Shitzu into the groomer for the past year, despite me telling her that I had been maintaining my dogs grooming. I ended up taking my dog to Chino Valley Animal hospital, where the lady offered me a job due to how well i had maintained my dogs grooming. I would not recommend just due to the rudeness I recieved on the phone.

Theses guys have been taking care of our pups for over five years. Service is great and the dogs come back happy. Yea, it does take a while to get them in for grooming but these are worth it. I always make the next appointment when I pick the pups up.Again these guys are great!

I brought my rescue dog to Al's about 3 years ago when it was difficult to get into any other groomer in town. I absolutely love them! My pup, Cooper, was loved and taken care of by all the staff. I'm really sad to be moving out of state and wish I could take Al's with me!!

Fantastic! My dogs start jumping when I ask if they want a spa day. So excited my old girl thinks she can jump in the car by herself. They always look amazing and are happy doggies after a groom.

Dolly is a little nervous of the groomer and was cut by the last groomer she went to which added to her anxiety. She went to Al’s because I have heard nothing but great things... let me tel you it was even better than expected she actually came out happy and not scared and shaking she was well taken care of and they said she did amazing. These are wonderful caring people and I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my girl! Now my German Shepherd needs a bath!

I took my dog Lola there because I also take my older Chihuahua there, Lola just needed a good deshedding and shampooing, they did GREAT! she's a very shy dog and they said she did fine! She smeels amazing and looks great! They are such a friendly staff I absolutely will be returning!

Brought my dog in for grooming. When they cut his nails they shattered one which got infected to the point his leg would have to be removed. At 150 pounds w/ another bad leg it was a death sentence. I had to put him down. I tried calling Al's w/ no answer nor would they return my calls when I left messages. They knew they screwed up but won't own it. Seems like they could care less about what they did to us. Broke all our hearts.

We have taken our dogs to Al's for 5 years. It used to be a great place, however all that changed since covid. It took almost 3 months to get an appointment. In the past I took a picture to make sure they knew how to groom a scottie as there are not many in Prescott. This time I wanted to give them pictures but he said " if you don,t like the way we do it, go elsewbere".and then refused to take us as customers. Beware. If you care how you dog is groomed go elsewhere.

The shop is wonderful. This is the first time that my dog has gone to a groomer and she didn’t start shaking. They did a great job and they are very reasonable. I will let other people know to go here. What a great place! Al is personable and so friendly.

Absolutely the BEST groomers ever! Definitely in Prescott. I have 2 Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. They did a perfect summer cut on both, with utmost respect for breed integrity. My girls are very happy with the results too. Highly recommended!

Can't say enough about Al's. 10 🌟 if I could. Al is the happiest guy on Earth! He loves his job, and loves every dog that walks in the door like it is his own. All of my dogs have loved going to Al's, and I've loved taking them there! It's worth a million, but you definitely won't have to pay that! Al's prices are very reasonable. I've had to use a few other places on the very rare occasion that Al's was closed, but I've ended up disappointed, and my pups didn't like the experience. Al's or bust!

I have been taking my dogs and my daughter's dogs for a while now. They do a fantastic job at Al's, my pets get done in a timely manner and they don't have to stay there all day! I have a deaf and partially blind lethal white Aussie. I was nervous about taking him to a groomer but he really needed it. Al's was recommended by a lady I spoke to in the square so I gave them a try. They are phenomenal! My boy has no reservations about going and he comes out looking beautiful. The prices are also better than I paid for a short haired dog in Phoenix! I now take my 10 month old Catahoula there as well. They are so gentle and really care about the animals. I tell everyone who listen about Al's now!
