We have been very happy with Dr. Frank and her entire staff. On that awful day every pet owner dreads, the time and compassion shown us was extraordinary. The doctor even took time to write a personalized condolence card. To the reviewer who complained about the missed apt fee, if you knew the time she spent with us, you would have so much more respect for the value of her time.

I had to take our dear 18 year old cat, Reggie, in this past week, so he could finally go to Heaven. The staff got me in rather quickly without an appointment and as hard as it was to lose my companion, the staff there were amazing. Dr. Frank was gentle and let us have the time we needed to say good bye. We really were impressed with the care Reggie (and us) received.

We brought our dog Remy in for a rabies shot. It was our first visit to this clinic after moving to PV from Miami. Turns out our pup was not ready to be acclimated to her new surroundings and will have to return after being medicated to help calm her anxiety - she was very nervous and Dr.Johnson was quite the professional in being kind and patient and willing to chat with us while allowing Remy to try and relax and not feel threatened.Our following appointment is in a few weeks and we are looking forward to returning as the staff was super friendly and very accommodating!!

I just took my puppy here on Friday and the staff are the most friendliest and nicest people ever. They’re super gentle and have the best energy. They listen to your concerns and provide feedback with anything . Definitely going to be going back for anything and everything when it comes to my dog🐶 ❤️

This place is horrible. They never have any availability for your animals. The front desk lady is always snotty. They do not seem to care about their business. They would rather you drive and spend hundreds of dollars at the ER than help you. Very sad.

We've been taking our 3 pups here for 3 years...our 11 year old pup had horrible diarrhea we took her to Prescott Valley Pet Clinic...she wasn't getting better after being on anti diarrhea med (from vet)....we were also told to put her on immonium ad....nothing was working, we were concerned about her getting dehydrated so called and left a message requesting a return call with how much pedialyte to give to her...again no return call...we called again at about day 10 of diarrhea and requested a return call to discuss what might be going on....still no return call. We began looking for a new vet...and found one. If you have pets that are healthy, this vet might work for you...however, if you have a fur kid that is ill and you are hoping for answers ...this is NOT the vet for you. So disappointed that our pup had to suffer as long as she did. Now she is on the appropriate meds and food and finally feeling better. We unfortunately wasted 2 weeks with an office who wouldn't return our call or address our concerns.

They helped my 16 year old cat cross the rainbow bridge peacefully and comfortably, even though she was a new patient to the practice. What special people and generous hearts to be able to help animals and their owners during such a difficult time. 💕

They are sadly becoming overbooked and unable to provide appropriate vet care for established patients. When having minor issues such as environmental allergies even with a recent appointment they require an office visit before helping (in this case for allergy medicine) and can’t accommodate establishing a quick office visit around your work schedule. They refused to tell me the OTC Benadryl dosing for my dog saying I need an allergy prescription yet have no appointment times around my work schedule and tells me to go elsewhere and says Urgent Pet Prescott. They used to be really good but now I feel they no longer care about your pet by pushing aside urgent visits. They used to always take an urgent visit first thing in the morning with a drop off of the pet and the vet looking at them between scheduled office visits. The lady on the phone was extremely rude - basically telling me to take my dog elsewhere that can see her and to give Benadryl (even though they won’t give dosaging info) and hanging up on me.

Dr. Roger's and Dr. Frank have provided the upmost best care for our pets over the years. They are gentle, caring, very knowledgeable, and consider the "whole family" when providing care. We never feel rushed or pressured even under stressful times with our pets. I wish some human doctors and staff would come and get lessons on bedside manner from them. The clinic is always clean, organized, and prices are very reasonable.

When we moved here in 2013, we started using PVPC to care for our pets. The techs are great, but they seem to go through doctors pretty often.Why only 1 star? Dr. Frank. She terrified our dogs, was abrupt-if-not-rude with us, and thoroughly NON-gentle when she euthanized my 19yo cat. I will NEVER take another animal to ANY office where this person works.EDIT: We stopped taking our pets here after my cat was euthanized a couple of years ago. These situations with Dr. Frank happened over the course of several years.

I'm not sure how they hired Angels to work at a veterinary clinic, but they did! My dog's head had swollen to 2x its normal size, in a matter of just a few days, I was sick with worry for my best friend- Bailey was able to get us an appointment immediately that day, and there I'm pretty sure his life was saved that day! Thanks to the skilled hands and caring hearts of Nicole, Jenna, and the Amazing Doctor Frank!! They truly perform Miracles there, as they did for me and my buddy- THANK YOU EVERYONE @ THE PV PET CLINIC, you guys are AMAZING and you really are ANGELS!!

We think Dr. Frank is excellent. However I terminated our relationship today because the practice charged my husband $30 for being 17 minutes late to an apt when he thought he was actually early. He had the time mixed up and the practice refused my request to apply that as a credit to our next visit even though I said I would leave their practice if the insisted on leaving the $30 charge in place. We have been a loyal customer for years and never ever a late or no show. This is not the way to treat loyal clients, and it will catch up with the practice in the long run. A perfect example of “Penny wise & pound foolish.” and smells like greed. Arrogance and a take it or leave it attitude and the manager’s snarky communication did not sit well with me and the manager did nothing but defend the charge - even though is contradicts their own policy. Very disappointed in this practice. However there are many other great vets and my decision to leave this practice speaks for itself.Addendum: response from this practice is not factual. I chose to terminate with them. I also pointed out to the manager where their policy states something different than what was done. Their response is an attempt to hide the facts. As stated, for over 5 years we were 100% on time with this exception where my husband had the time mixed up. The manager also admitted the policy said something different than what was done and initially offered to refund the $ 30 no show/late fee and then when I said that would be fine, she backpedaled and said she wouldn’t do it. A clear example of a disappointing business practice. It will catch up with them. Good idea to review many other one star reviews to be informed.

I took my cat to vet because she wasnt eating or drinking for almost 2 days in a row and I called them and they had a veterarian so kind to help her at 630 pm at night and they waved some fees too and come to find she had dehydration and we got out of there and home and the vet said she was well taken care of. We got done within 30 minutes and came out with less then a 200.00 vet bill

Prescott Valley Pet Clinic allowed me and my dog to come inside the building for the apt. They are very professional and friendly. The veterinarian was excellent. She even sat on the floor to relate to my dog. Even though they took Teddy in the back for the exam he was still calm and unshaken. I would definitely bring my dog back to this Clinic.

I stopped by Prescott Valley Pet Clinic last Wednesday and was able to make an appointment for the next day. Everyone I came into contact with was cheerful, friendly, and seemed to love what they were doing. My dog needed a checkup and some regular testing and a vaccine. The vet was very competent and had my dog’s best interests at heart. I’ll definitely bring my cat in April for her annual checkup as well. We are traveling around the country in an RV and I rely on reviews to help me pick a good vet when I need one. This is one of the best and if I lived here they would be my full-time vet.

If you want the BEST for your pet, go to this Clinic. Our 17 year old male cat had never been sick a day in his life when suddenly, one day he was not able to pee or poop and was in pain, so we called and were told to bring him in right away. Dr. Dana Frank examined him, and after explaining our options to us in detail, she then gave us private time to sort through it all and make a decision. We realized it was time to put him down, as hard as that decision was to make. Dr. Frank was more than amazing! She was so kind and thoughtful and made us feel like family. Her assistant, Ryan, was also very kind and caring. They gave us time to hold our cat in a blanket in a private room as we said goodbye. The staff made a paw print in clay for us, with our cat’s name. We even received a phone call a few days later to check on us, as well as a beautiful hand written card in the mail. Thank you, Dr. Frank and Ryan! We couldn’t have gotten through this process without your kind hearts. Julie and Paul Napoleone.

My elderly dog Ziva was very sick and Dr. Frank was able to figure out exactly what my girl needed and had her back on her feet in no time! By the way if your dog eats more than 5 slices of Turkey bacon in one sitting it causes such a bad stomach ache that dogs can get really painful!! Called pancreatitis!

I debated between a five star and a four star but decided to focus the rating on the most important part of a vet visit, the medical treatment. Dr. Merchant and the Tech (sorry I didn't get her name) were wonderful, seemed to genuinely care. The reception staff seems a little disconnected from the patient and disorganized usually, calling us to ask if we forgot about the appointment when we were standing in the lobby after checking in 10 minutes before our appointment.

Most caring and reasonably priced veterinary clinic! When I first moved to Prescott, I had boarded my two cat’s with them and they were Awesome!! My cat Princess was diabetic. while she was boarding there they became concerned and notified me right away that they felt she might be in distress. They truly care. I understand why they have to perform specific diagnostic. Yes, cost can add up and I don’t have a money tree. But people should understand that they have to pay companies for there diagnostics equipment and testing supplies therefore yes it’s not going to be just 25 or 50 dollars for those services. If they give all services for free then they cannot stay open to help animals when in need. I think there prices are very reasonable!! Animals require specific care and I have put a savings account away for them. Even putting a little money away a month can help for those emergencies that may arise. Heart worm testing and other diagnostics are helpful to ensure your pet is heart worm free and other tests will ensure there special medication doses are within a safe dose for their situation.

Absolutely top notch animal care, both the Vet and our Vet Tech, Tiffany were truly wonderful and compassionate when it came to caring for our kitten. Tiffany was very helpful I'm explaining what was going on and breaking down our cost, her demeanor was kind and friendly, very calming. They were able to give us a same day appointment at 6pm to have him seen which made a world of difference for our cat, we were in and out in under an hour. Would absolutely recommend coming here.

Worst vet experience in over 40 years.We brought our dog in for scheduled dental surgery on Monday at 7:40. My wife had called the previous Friday for pre-surgery feeding instructions. She had been told that she would get a call on Saturday; no call. At drop-off, they said that she would be there "most of the day". She called at 2:00 for an update and was told that our pet was "just getting ready to go into surgery" and that they would call around 3:00 with an update. After again not getting a call by 4:30, my wife called again and again was told that Winnie was "just getting ready to go into surgery". When I got on the phone with their staff, I was told that they admitted all animals in the morning and got around to surgery "when they could".I was told that no manager was on duty. I then told them to not do surgery and would come to pick up our pet. When I arrived they explained that they received all of the surgery pets in the morning and administered sedatives to them at that time. Meaning that our dog was sedated for 9 hours and was then going to have surgery by a vet that had been operating for over 9 hours. They explained to us that this was the best business practice for them so that they didn't lose money from no-shows.I was told that the manager would call me the next day. Again, no call.I wouldn't take a cockroach to them.

All of the staff at Prescott Valley Pet Clinic are extremely efficient and very caring. To all of the people that answer the phones and check clients into the office, you all are great! My dog Samson always gets anxious when going to the vets, but the staff is fantastic at making him feel comfortable. Dr. Hunsberger had to do a dental extraction on Samson and he did fantastic. He was back to normal the very next day. Ryan, the veterinary Nurse is very kind and compassionate! Can’t beat the team at Prescott Valley Pet Clinic!! Thank you so much!

I have been using Prescott Valley Pet Clinic for my cats care since I moved here 22 years ago. When I had to put down my first cat, Dr. Frank was very sweet and compassionate; she even cried. It is obvious to me that the staff loves what they do and care for my pets like they were their own. I have recommended PVPC in the past and will continue to do so.

We have been coming here since I moved to Prescott 8.5 yrs ago with all of our pets. I have had to put 2 of my dogs to sleep and they have been so kind, considerate, loving and supportive. Having to endure such a traumatic event, they have at least made it somewhat bearable. Thank you so much for all of the support you have given us over the years.
