I have a toy poodle that has very curly hair. I like to keep him long and fluffy so I usually go 4 weeks between each appointment. I moved so I tried this place and I honestly don’t feel that they took their time with his fur. I dropped him off and the lady at the counter mentioned his ears were matted. Which I knew that. So I showed her the length I’d like him to have and she agreed that would be a good length for my dog. So I was like great, I’m okay to leave my dog to get groomed. I get a call 15 minutes later stating that they would need to cut majority of his fur off due to matting. He was not matted. Poodles have curly fur. Whether your brush it or not, there’s going to be some kinks in the fur… but anyways I was upset with the phone call because if they had mentioned that while I was there, I would have gladly left with my dog and took him across town to my usual place. I told them to keep as much hair on him as possible. I return and majority of his fur was gone, he had a cut on him and was bleeding, and guess what? The part that we all knew was matted (his ears) is where they left all the fur. This led me to believe that they were not willing to take the time to work with his fur. I still paid full price and my dog was cut. My dog is 11. I’ve lived in multiple states, multiple parts of AZ, and my dog has never been cut by a groomer. I had to get medication for the cut on his skin. I believe in paying people for their time, I even tipped and I did not complain. I will not be back though, and if your dog has curly fur, I wouldn’t recommend them. Find someone willing to groom with care + take their time.

I'm so glad I took my dog here to get groomed. I loved the way it turned out and they were super gentle with my fur baby. It was his first time getting groomed and he was sooo happy after I picked him up. The price was reasonable for all the work they did and the results were fantastic. I will be taking my papillon here in the future.

I took my dog in on Friday 12/10/21 for a groom. Her hair was done very un even. Her snout area didn’t get done . Not happy with the results at all. I only paid because that’s my character but it definitely wasn’t worth the 85 bucks .

By far the nicest staff and best haircut for my matted furry babies. Kimberley did an amazing job from getting us signed in (last minute) on a busy Saturday to check out. Cooper the gray dog (on the right) needed nails, glands and teeth brushing and Chloe (on the left) was matted. They were able to salvage her cute pup face and make the best haircut possible considering how matted she was, mind you she is an 8 month puppy who I have not been able to groom myself in fear that I could possibly harm her. Chloe did amazing with the staff at Fluff and Puff and she and Cooper will continue to come here in the next coming months. I have also made my next appointment for Cooper’s teeth cleaning without the use of anesthesia which I think is pretty amazing! I definitely recommend this place!

Quick review: I visited for my cat's grooming. I am very satisfied with the outcome and their services. My cat was not stressed at all from the visit.Details: I have a medium hair, super fluffy cat. I had her get the full grooming without bathing. I knew the specifics of what I wanted: keep her maine but at trimmed length, her boots, but no tail bob. Staffs/Groomers were very welcoming and listening. The work was done in about 1.5 hours. She didn't get any cuts or uneven shaving marks.I paid $70; on the website, full grooming is estimated to range $65-80. They said the price varies upon the cat's condition (both hair and temper) which is reasonable. Most cat grooming places have such flexible pricing policy since cats are more sensitive and defensive to unexpected people/situations. My cat is used to being groomed (received monthly for years before we moved to AZ), so I was less concerned about how she would do. Staffs said she did very well and my cat seemed chill after the grooming, so I believe that the groomers handle cats gently.I would definitely go back!

This was my first time using Puff and Fluff, I have a 4 year old cat I rescued as a kitten and he was the getting to be the fluffiest cat I'd ever seen. Grooming at home was getting near impossible, so time for a shave down for the first time. The staff was friendly, fast and caring toward my kitty. He's currently angry with me now that he's "naked", but he and I both know - they did a great job! This big guy is looking and smelling fresh and clean, and after using groomers for decades for my dogs I know they treated him with kindness (not even an hour after grooming he's running around the house and ate some treats, no signs of mistreatment here). Thank you so much Puff and Fluff!

Brought my lazy boxer in for brush and bath, ear cleaning and nail trim. Missed trimming the back paws and didn’t trim dewclaws. Ears weren’t cleaned, and he was shedding way more after his “brush” and bath than before he went in. Was told it would take up to two hours, it was a bit more than three hours. There’s much better groomers around at a similar or better price. Would not return.

I took my dog to the uptown location on 5/12. When I picked her up her hair was really patchy and I don’t mean just slightly patchy it was very clearly patchy so I had to send her back for the groomer to even it out. I also asked them not to cut her nails because I grind them. They of course did and it caused her front nails to bleed which causes her discomfort When she walks and her front paws roll as a result. I’d recommend another groomer, it’s really not worth it. Initially I wasn’t going to write about this experience because overall I used to really like puff and fluff but after my experience at the Arcadia location I will definitely not be going to any of these groomers and encourage others to find somewhere else to go as well. Feel free to read that review on the Arcadia page.

I stuck with this shop for about a year because it was convenient AND being a first time dog owner I didn't know any better. But by the third time they said to me, "next time you come in we'll have to shave your dog" I finally wished up. Please know that I took Charlie in EVERY week for a bath and brush. I now get it. If you have a "pro" bathe and brush your dog weekly they should certainly give you much more notice than a week that his coat is getting too long to properly manage. The communication there is horrible. My groomer of six months talks to me regularly about his condition and no they have not "had to shave him." Do yourself a favor and take your fur baby to a place where the groomers are accessible, tell you how things are going, coach you if needed and generally look out for the best interest of your dog. Oh, and yes, I spoke to management several times. That was a waste of time. They essentially blamed me for everything. I never understood that; after all I took my pup to them weekly and every week I asked how it went. They would consistently say great until they'd drop the "next time we'll have to shave him" bomb on me. Love the location. Loathe the service.

We love this place. Our dogs have been getting trimmed here for 2-3 years, and we are always pleased with the service. The workers respond to text messages quickly, and they always address our dogs by name. Most Groomers don't care about your dog's name, but they keep a record for each pet that comes to them. Our dogs are always trimmed nicely, and I really love that they don't have us bring the dogs early, and then keep them all day. They set an appointment, and then call you, as soon as your dog is done. The shop is always clean and buzzing with happy dogs and owners. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Had never owned a fluffy long haired cat before, and didn't realize that the beautiful long hair can mat pretty easily no matter how much she cleans herself or I attempt to brush her. I nervously brought her to Puff and Fluff (love the name!) after reading great reviews both from dog and some cat owners hoping they could help. Not only were they some how able to go near her rear-end, they were able to get her mats out! I was so pleased, and she seemed much happier when I brought her home that day. Will definitely be going back to help keep her coat in shape, might try the lion cut next time!

I brought my cat, Leo, in for a full groom with a lion cut. I was nervous since it was his first time being shaved, he is a shy, sensitive boy, and I am very picky with who I use to care for my cats. The cat groomer was very pleasant and knowledgeable when she explained the grooming options. When I picked him up from his appointment, not only was he beautiful but he was also calm and not stressed at all! I was very happy with the grooming services and will be bringing him back regularly. Thank you for taking care of my fur baby and making it a pleasant experience for us both!

I think this place is just wonderful. They clearly love the dogs and always seem to make our dog feel welcome--he can get anxious at the groomers. They are always so helpful with scheduling and they do great work. We love how clean and fluffy and beautiful our dog comes back from his visits with them. They are reasonably priced, and provide exceptional service. All around our favorite groomers!

I will never do business with this place. I am beyond irritated. New to the area, trying to find a groomer for my dog. I called 2 different location with nobody answering the phone, the website won’t let me book an appt. I call the 3rd location, schedule appt and the day of my appointment I come in and they didn’t booked for the right services, I booked a full groom, but they just offered me a bath and brush. I now went way out of my way to the other side of town to go to this location, cleared my schedule and now have no appointment. This place sucks, and by the other reviews doesn’t look like they do the greatest work.

I’m not one to leave bad reviews but when it comes to my family and/or dogs, I absolutely will if I feel something was not handled correctly. My husband, Jordan, I, and our family moved to AZ 3 years ago—as he plays for the Cardinals. When moving here, finding a reliable groomer was a priority because we want to make sure our dogs are always in safe hands when not with us.Today, I took our 3 dogs to the 16th St. location since our Arcadia location didn’t have any availability. Upon arrival, I did let the front desk know one of my dog suffers from seizures when he’s really anxious. When I arrived to pick up my dogs, I was told that ‘one of them had a seizure’ while on the table. When I asked which one the front desk woman—short hair, glasses, couldn’t tell me and honestly, sounded like she could care less. When I asked why no one called me, she said ‘sorry’ and that only two of them were handling the front desk. Then I asked how long the seizure lasted and she said she didn’t know, maybe 5-10 mins—which is long for my dogs. Well, it turned out that my other dog, ‘the reddish one’ as she referred to him when handing him over, was the one who seized.I am highly bothered that no one called me to let me know about my dog seizing. Also, my dogs have been in distress since I picked them up causing the other one to seize here at home. At this point, I am concerned with how they were treated during their time here—and any other dog that goes through there for that matter. I will not be returning to this location as I feel my dogs are not safe here. I hope management takes a closer look at their staff as bad reviews are starting to take over their google page.Ivana Hicks

I brought my dog into this place thinking that because it was uptown they were going to be very courteous and professional but the front desk woman with the glasses and red hair was very very unprofessional and rude. I left my dog there to get groomed she snatched up by the neck and drug it to the Back when he wouldn’t go with her because he was scared. When I arrive to pick up my dog I realized that some of his hair was uneven and he had nicks all over his skin where he was bleeding from cuts from clippers which I asked him specifically not to use clippers on my Dog...I’m just saying if you love your animal like I do like family, I do not recommend this place to bring your dog no stars and beware!! I will be furthering of this with the Better Business Bureau call because I feel like the unprofessionalism is harmful for the animals

Puff & Fluff had my 23 lb Cockapoo in and out in about 1.25 hours for a full groom. They did a great job with her body and legs, but didn’t get her face quite right. The lady who checked her in asked if I wanted a teddy bear cut for the face, I said yes, and even showed her a picture of what I wanted it to look like based on her previous cuts (see attached photo). Instead, they cut off a lot of the hair on her face so that it in no way resembles a teddy bear cut or the look of her previous cut.

This was my first time taking my cat Lux (or any cat) to the groomer, so I was nervous and unsure of what to expect. The staff were all very nice, the groomer took time to ask how I'd like my cat's haircut to look. Luxy came out looking adorable with his lion cut and smelling great!Id also like to the staff for being so patient and kind to my children, who asked endless questions and were very excited about the process. :)I had called around to quite a few groomers inquiring about cat grooming services and was told either there was no cat groomer or they were booked out for weeks. I was close to giving up but I found Puff & Fluff's website and was shocked that I was able to book online with such ease, and for the very next day!Exceptional service & quality.

Puff and fluff got my pooch in and out quickly this week. A quick nail trim was completed in about 10 min. They are always friendly and deal well with my anxiety riddled dog. My only issue was that the gal at the door was not wearing a mask.

This was the worst dog haircut. We went to a different location before - 40th St and Greenway, and everything was great. This haircut was awful - chunks were taken in some places, very uneven. It was almost like he was badly shaved here and there...Even 2 months later, when the coat got longer you can see all the flows... Maybe we were not lucky with the technician... But not going to give it another chance.

I absolutely adore this place, my Terrier mix has very long, curly hair that gets out of control and the groomers at Puff and Fluff always make him look gorgeous! Everyone in my apartment complex tells him how cute he looks after he comes home from the groomer! They are always so gentle with him and so friendly :)

We have used several groomers over the years, driven to far for our dog's liking and even unfortunately for our dog's look done her grooming on our own. Thankfully a shop near us is under new ownership. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and the place is clean! Our dog was so happy there she was not eager to come home. Big shout out to Kelly, the groomer and Liz, the owner for caring for me the nervous doggie mom and my dog so well. We are sold on your treatments to our dog!!!
