Skylar and team took great care of our 14-year old Shih Tzu dogs this afternoon. The dogs were initially very stressed. But the end grooming result was fantastic. The dogs were happy and looked awesome.

The PetSmarts PetHotel NE Phoenix store is the BEST!!! I’ve been boarding my two dogs her for two years (four times this year alone) and I couldn’t be happier. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. The facilities are clean and inviting. My dogs are always very well cared for and happy when they stay at PetsHotel. I highly recommend boarding your pets here.

I love their Doggie Day Care. They are so good with the dogs . Moxie comes home happy and tired. Great exercise and a fun way to socialize your dog!

I work in the hotel and I love it! I run camps for large n small dogs 7 days a week I love every dog that comes through our doors! One thing people may not know is that they offer numerous pet training classes, by certified trainers. They have different levels from puppy basics to advanced, even service dog training tips and techniques. Training is so essential to truly enjoy your new pet and it builds trust and a bond with you two. I highly recommend everyone give it a try. They have tons of specials right now , including a free class to try. They offer evening classes for those who work all day. Also weekend and custom times you can discuss with the trainer. The head trainer at this store is Connie. Tell her Shiloh sent you and would like her to give you a great deal !!!

Brandon is by far the BEST trainer we have ever been too! We highly recommend him for any challenges you may have with your pup wether young or older he is amazing! With results! His classes are fun, and very helpful! We’ve tried other trainers without success. We are forever grateful to Brandon for his training expertise! Thank you Brandon!!! Oh my gosh don’t let me forget the best part. He helps you have a much better relationship and understanding with your fur baby!

The staff at petsmart on tatum and shea are wonderful. However....I can't say enough about the hotel staff! They are exceptional! They treat all the pups so great and really care not only about the fur babies but also about having a good relationship with the pups families. Our pups always have such a great time here.

Had to return pet food and thought it would be easy, but unfortunately, newbies are working there, and even management is new. For something simple, an exchange it took forever.That day, I was in a hurry, not their fault, but that was stressful going through that mess.I asked for a manager, and the woman helping the cashier said she was the manager and never been shown how to do that particular transaction.I did my best to keep cool, and so did they. I have to say it wasn't a great experience, but they handled it well. I understand on their end and have been there in their shoes before, so thinking that way,I was able to keep my cool while they worked it out.It is not the manager nor the cashiers fault that they didn't get the training they needed to be self-sufficient.So, GOOD JOB LADIES for stepping up and doing what you could to help me and fix the problem.Whomever trained y'all should have done more efficient job training and not leaving newbies all alone.Thank the GOD these ladies banded together and got it the job done and I left satisfied yet peeved at whomever trained them.

Love the store and staff of petsmart. They are always kind respectful and extremely knowledgeable when it comes to fish reptiles and mammals. I love all my pets and before owned them, by buying them from petsmart i knew nothing about how to care for or raise my pets. Now i atta be a certified pet guru after all the staff of petsmart have taught me. I cant thank thrm enough for all the time and experience they have shared with me. This place will always be my go to!!!

We took our dogs to a half day at the Tatum and Shea location. The check in process is fairly easy especially if you call and give them most of the dogs info beforehand. We also boarded them for two nights and everything seemed to go well. We were able to view one of the suites that they would be staying in and the staff answered all questions we had. Would take them there again.

We’ve been bringing our dogs to the pet hotel and grooming for a few years. On multiple occasions, I’ve booked extra services online. When grooming, I’ve elected to pay extra for nail clipping and extra pampering. This past weekend, we dropped our Pomeranian off for boarding and requested he get groomed while he was there and get playtime. On all circumstances, they did not do the extra we’d asked for even though we were willing to pay for it and now we have to find another time for grooming. It’s annoying and Petsmart is clearly leaving money on the table they could be making but we’ll end up finding somewhere else altogether if this continues happening. Petsmart - don’t have the online booking if your staff isn’t trained to use it. Future customers, don’t assume if you requested it online that they’ll do it.

WARNING: This PetSmart starved my 2-year old French bulldog for 6 nights in their pet camp/hotel. Mydog, Reid, is a healthy, happy dog who loves people. I had to be out of town for my sister’s wedding, so Idropped Reid off at PetSmart (at the 10825 N. Tatum Blvd location) for the Doggy Day Camp andboarding on December 27 th around 4pm and picked him up January 2 nd around 3pm. Reid was supposedto get 12 ounces of his food every night, portioned out by PetSmart (this is a service they offer and one Iagreed to pay for). When I picked him up on Sunday, PetSmart returned 42 5/8 ounces of his food backto me along with a very emaciated-looking Reid. When I asked what they had been feeding him and whythey had so much food left, they said they had been feeding him his food but they didn’t have access toa food scale (aren’t they a pet supply store?), so they just used a small measuring cup (which apparentlywasn’t even a full cup) to estimate his food. Based on the amount of food returned to me, they hadbeen feeding Reid about 5 ounces of his dog food a day (assuming he was actually being fed every day).That’s less than half of what he should be eating! When I asked more questions trying to figure out whowas responsible for him throughout the week, they were unable to give me one name because they saideveryone is responsible for the care based on different shifts. So, apparently everyone is “watching” butno one is really paying attention. Reid lost a considerable amount of weight over the course of a weekand is now having major digestive issues. He was very eager to eat the second I got him home, butimmediately threw it up. I am HORRIFIED to think about the care I left Reid in for almost a week (what ifI had been gone longer?!). I read the reviews of this PetSmart before I dropped him off, but clearlydidn’t pay enough attention to the other negative reviews about the Pet Boarding situation at thisPetSmart. This is a warning to other pet parents: do not leave your animal in the care of this facility. Iunderstand that many companies are short-staffed these days, but there should be safety protocols inplace such that someone is responsible for the overall welfare of the animals. If there isn’t one personultimately responsible for ensuring the pets in their care are getting properly fed, how would any petparent know that their pet is getting proper walks, enough clean water, or any amount of affection?Their response to my outrage was to discount their service by $150 (I had paid the bill before theybrought out Reid, so I still paid $167 after the discount). I don’t care about the money, but I feel horriblethat Reid suffered for a week and don’t want another pet to suffer the same way. I have attached apicture of Reid on the day I picked him up. Quite frankly, he was probably on the “sturdy/chunky” sidewhen I dropped him off, so to see him with protruding ribs breaks my heart. I’ve had him since he was apuppy, so he doesn’t even understand cruelty. I’ve emailed PetSmart about the situation and asked thatthey review their protocols to avoid this situation in the future. If I hear back any meaningful response,I’ll post an update for the pet parents.

I bought a beta fish. He got sick and I went back to ask about giving him medicine and they had it. One month later, my fish is still alive. Update: The fish is still alive. The staff is great.
