Idk what’s going on there but the last 6 mths or so it seems like this place is being run by a bunch of drug addicts. 3 of them were arguing right in front of me about who has permission to get me some tomatoes. They all seemed dirty and one had on flip flops with the crustiest dirty feet.

Edit: the $5.00 debt charge pending for water machine went away and I have only been charged ¢25. That’s good to know, was worried for a second thereLove the employees here, super friendly and helpful. Great selection on food, candy and household items. Pricey but I understand as this is the most convenient store location wise. I'm giving 4 stars cause the water machine hasn't been working correctly so I used my debit card to get a ¢25 gallon and it charged me $5.00 😳🤬I totally get that the space is rented by the vender and has nothing to do with the store

You know what I enjoy most about this store is the staff. Always friendly in a neighbor kind of way. Besides being able to get those few things we all need or want to get without going to a bigger store. It's always clean and safe.

Right side of store has drinks stored in refrigerator that does not work but the left side of store has cold drinks and food so make sure you check. . The owner is waiting for refrigerator repair on one side FYI. It is not a liquor store. There is NO ALCOHOL However the front has fountain drinks and a delicious sandwiches deli in the back. Overall you can find most everything for last minute quick run in the neighborhood.

Absolutely love this little shope. It's very convenient. My son and I enjoy browsing the aisles. The owner is nice and always provides us with great customer service. Their sub sandwiches good for an on the run lunch. We look forward to our next visit soon.

Love this place for a market in the slope. No ebt anymore is a bummer. But the owner is nice, the sandwiches are boars Head brand deli meats, and if you smoke ( WHICH I DO NOT!)or have a spouse that does CIGGS cost $5.

One of my childhood favorites. If your looking for the worlds best sub, look further it’s not here. My 83 year old grandfather was standing by the deli and was told WHAT DO YOU WANT!!! My mother replied and said he wants to order a sub. She was told I DONT HAVE TIME FOR THAT!! What kind of customer service???? Rude and disappointing! Sir, I hope you see this and I wish you many more health code violations.

Haven't been in this store in twenty years! Amazing to see it is still there. Brings back so many memories. I will always remember the times when I was a child and things were rough and money was tight for our family. We lived off of the Subs they made and passed time in the arcade they had in the back as we waited for our ride after school. Certainly on my list of places to visit again...

Since the name change, it would appear that the place has been cleaned up a bit. There used to be trash scattered around the parking lot and I would be able to spot at least one insulin needle somewhere on the property out side of the store at almost any time. Now that's not the case and it's a good thing, since it's located directly south of an elementary school and west of a church.. Also, inside is cleaner, although the aisles are still a bit cramped if you are in a wheelchair. Otherwise, I can say the only thing he needs to do is upgrade to LED lighting inside and outside the store.That said, he (the owner) does have good prices on some of the things he sells but, on the things I would normally be buying, there's a lot of room for improvement regarding the prices.Bottom line, you get what you pay for, but it's a safe place if you are having issues with an unsavory type of individual.

The regular clerk is a very nice man, but the old man you have to watch out for, because he will try to rip you off. He will try to short-change you, or if you cash in a lottery ticket, he will try to give you less than the winning amount. He has done these things on several separate occasions.

This is one of my favorite places to go to get whatever it is that I need, the employees are so kind and generous, the store itself is so organized and sanitary, the prices are not outrageous and are decent. I really recommend this place.

I added one more star because the people there are real nice and very helpful.Under new ownership, they don't accept food stamps yet, but they are trying to get recertified by the state.GREAT homemade subs reasonably priced.

By far the most run down and dirtiest store in the valley my roommate grabbed a gallon of milk there and they had scratched of the sell by date so they could keep on the shelf later. When I opened it it was already rancid I went to pour it on my cereal not thinking anything of it. Then when the milk stayed on top of the cereal it took me a second before I almost threw up realized how bad it already was they must have kept it on the shelves for an extra month!!! When I brought it back for a refund the guy there who I now know is the owner said he can do no refund and id have to come back the next day when the owner is in. The next day I come back and a young guys up front I ask to speak to the owner and he point to the back where the same guy as the night before is on the phone "the owner". I wait for him to get off phone and I ask him why he lies about being the owner as if he's just an employee who didnt want to lose his job over refunding the spoiled milk. He just flat out tells me he won't refund the $3.00 for the milk. I will definitely not be purchasing anything here again.

Great place middle of the neighborhood if you need somethi quick and dont want to go far. Only bad thing its a little pricey. O and they even have there very own deli in the store to either get your lunch meat or steaks
