Alta Vista has been a huge help for me and my dog !! My dog Spotto is 16 years old and this is the only place I trust to care for him while I am gone. From day care to grooming they do it all. Prices are fair and customer service is exceptional thankyou to Kimberly and all the Alta vista team.

We asked for our dog to be fed 1 cup of his food twice per day. We have confirmed with our vet that he is a healthy weight and that this is a good amount to be feeding him. Without consulting us, Alta Vista boarding doubled the amount of food that they were giving him (they started giving him 2 cups twice per day). Now our puppy is having diarrhea because of the sudden increase in food.

Ohhh Robin is fabulous!!! Apollo is a Belgian Malinois and very very full of himself after getting handsome on his spa day!!! He looked amazing when I picked him up AND despite not liking being separated from his human-he clearly had a wonderful time!! Thank you for taking such good care of him!!

We have used Alta vista for both boarding and grooming and they are wonderful and reasonably priced. Great spot for both our pups to stay even last min or if we go on vacation. They gave both our dogs fall bandanas which I thought was a very cute touch.

My Yorkie Dynamyte,Has been loving dis place for 7yrs. or so since his first hair cut & bath we took him bcuz he had a problem with the other grooming places 4 whatever reason.I have to be quite honest he gets a lot of energy from Alta Vista especially when he stays 4 the weekends of course I love to see how the staff adore the fury community and their patients

I will never take my dog here again. Took my pup here for a two-day boarding visit. She came home and it seemed like they never took her out to use the bathroom!!! Seemed like she was neglected for most of her visit here. Find somewhere else to take your pup if you care about them.

After being turned away from four other groomers when I told them my Cattle Dog has anxiety, we were finally able to get an appointment for both of my dogs at Alta Vista.I was incredibly nervous but the front desk staff and Mario put me at ease. Mario took the time to talk to me about my concerns and I felt confident leaving my Cattle Dog and Chihuahua with him.They both looked so much better when I picked them up and the price was less than what I was quoted. My Cattle Dog has a history of abuse from his previous owner, who was a man, so he can be touchy with men. I was told he was very sweet with Mario and handled his grooming well.We will definitely be regulars. Thank you so much to the team at Alta Vista!

I needed to board my dog. They emailed some documents to read and sign, the problem was the only document that opened was for immunization and a signature. I called, texted, emailed and got nothing accomplished. So I canceled my short vacation.

I feel terrible that I left my dog at this place after the first very bad experience. Actually our first time went Okay that's why We left her at Alta Vista for the second time. And that time was suppose to be the last, because our dog came back injured (both of her beautiful ears had a holes through them, weird not like bites but like big circles). When I asked the girl how that happened she was careless and told us she has no idea. However she told us we can visit they're vet. After reading reviews I didn't want to go to they're vet, aspeccially sense we had an appointment soon with our vet. We didn't want to give them our dog again for a year, but then I thought maybe it was bad luck and we should try again because this place has some good reviews. No! We're very happy that she came back this time not injured at least I can't see something bad for now. This time we left our dog on Thursday early morning and picked up Sunday early morning. It started as they brought us a wrong dog! Then they didn't find her bed and blanket and of course the left over treats that I left. How can you not find her bed and blanket if we paid for her VIP BOARDING? It must be in her room/cage right? So she even didn't even have VIP BOARDING! Also we paid for the bath and they didn't gave her a bath either because she came oily from the medicine that we applied before we took her to Alta Vista. My husband left a message and we expected that the manager will call us on Monday but No, of course No. I don't need an apology already We had have been waiting for a long, now I need a refund! And why bother to ask which social media is the best for us if you didn't post any pictures of our dog, while we looked forward for them and checked every day . We told them that I'm using every social media.

My dog absolutely loves Alta Vista! As soon as he sees the building he is crying with excitement and when he walks in all the staff know him by name. He gets a ton of attention and play time and a good cleaning when we pick him up from boarding. All of the staff are super friendly and accommodating. The prices are very reasonable in comparison to other boarding facilities I have used.*I saw a few of the negative reviews listed below mine and don't understand how some people don't have any common sense. As expected with EVERY boarding facility your pet will need current immunizations (non-negotiable). As far as pictures are concerned they are not part of your boarding package, but are often provided by the good will of the facility. Alta Vista is not in the business of taking photos of each and every single animal being boarded there each day. Im sure that the staff have plenty of other more pressing responsibilities in running a safe facility. If you want photos of your animal, hire a photographer. If you want a good facility that is tentative to your animal, has friendly staff, and has reasonable prices...hire Alta Vista!

My dog has always come home from other boarding/daycare services clean and happy. After our first time sending him here, he came home sick with kennel cough. They said they had not noticed that he was sick. They also treat the dogs with a flea treatment prior to boarding, which is not a standard practice? I don't feel great about this place and would not recommend sending your dog here.

I take my dog here to get groomed every 2-3 months and I have never had a problem. It makes it so reassuring that if anything were to ever happen the veterinary hospital is right next door. All the staff has always been very friendly to myself but most importantly my dog.

Great place to care for your fur babies, treating them like it's home away from home, very helpful pleasant staff, lots of room for pups to play, run, and socialize. Pools to play in during hot summer temperatures, All around comfortable feeling leaving 🐕 doggies for the day or for boarding.....recommended for your dog! Healthy environment providing doggie extras also.Aka/ Pup Scouts, love it!

This place is great! Took very good care of our girl. They accommodated us for extra time and gave Emma a nice bath before we picked her up. Will definitely use Alta Vista in the future.

Our dogs came back smelling of urine. They said they gave them a courtesy bath. We brought them home and bathed them but couldn’t get the smell out. We paid extra to have our dogs running around with the other dogs in the play area. I don’t think they let them out. There is no way they would smell that bad unless they were locked up in a small kennel and not let out to use the bathroom. Our dogs were given flea treatment and they ended up giving them more flea treatment. I did not feel good about that place.

This place is wonderful. Our dogs get so excited when they see the staff here and seem to really enjoy themselves. We bring them to Pup Scouts mostly but have also used their grooming services (thank you, Mario!) and boarding. We moved further away a few years back but still go out of our way to use Alta Vista. TOP NOTCH! Lucy and Bodie love you guys! :)

Wow! What an amazing experience all around! I am so very impressed! I have had 2 older Shih Tzus that have passed and really wish I had found Vicky sooner. I felt so comfortable leaving my 6 month old pup Olive with her. She took the time to talk with me and really go over what I was wanting for my lil girl. Was so thrilled when I picked Olive up!! Would definitely recommend Alta Vista Grooming!!💚🐾

Called Alta Vista at the last minute when we found ourselves in need of a “sitter” to board our cat. The staff was friendly (we already go there for vet service), the multiple price points are a bonus, the facility is a stone’s throw from the vet, and they accommodated her eating schedule with her own food. I will happily use for boarding in the future should the need arise. This was my first time boarding and I was very pleased and highly recommend.

Took my dog in for a temperament test as she is very anxious. Everyone was so nice and my dog did well! Pricing is very reasonable. Will be boarding her here in the near future. Lobby does kinda smell weird but it seems clean.

I have a sensitive long haired cat, Sugar needed a summer shave. I left a message and booked something that next day. Loved that. Sugar had an accident in his carrier on the way there. The gals gave me a towel to wrap him up with and he started to chill out a bit. At first he gave the gal a hard time about his grooming. He was half groomed when he lost his patience. I was out running errands so I wasn’t able to pick him up until end of day. The option to chill after his cut is also very nice. Much to my surprise, Sugar finished his cut and even made a friend with a six-toed kitty. True animal lovers, ( also super cool vibes ) very grateful they were so good with my furry boy. Will def go back. Been considering boarding with Alta Vista as well. In to it.

These people are money thieves. They overcharge you for everything. They need to work on their people skills. Big time. They won't tell you where to go for the grooming until your sitting out there for an hour. Get it together Alta Vista. We are not made of money. Yes, we love our pets, but don't take advantage of that!
