Feel like every time I come in, they’re only in stock with half of what I need , had to drive back to the shop because they didn’t bag over half of my crickets and didn’t even hook me up when I had to drive back. Always feels weird in the shops but love the plant shop they have . Hoping service returns to bubbly customer service and making the experience in this complicated hobby a better convenience.EDIT: just got back home from writing this review and they gave me two bags of small crickets instead of the large (which I drove back for) and then medium and small crickets, I will not be driving to get this bag of small crickets replaced for medium this time

I really can't thank you guys enough. My wife was in town and I halfheartedly told her to get me a tailless whip scorpion for Valentine's day not expecting her to actually do it.She doesn't know much about invertebrates and was pretty intimidated the idea of trying to deal with a herp shop, but the gentleman who took care of her set her right at ease.He went out of his way to feed them a day early to make sure she got a lively specimen, and it handled the 5 hour drive home without a problem. Such an awesome little critter, one of the gems of my collection.You guys earned a customer. I tend to walk out of every shop I enter with a tarantula, so I anticipate I'll be taking some off your hands in the near future.Thanks again, from the bottom of my heart!!!

Well, I can see from other reviews that I’m not the only regular customer that’s been treated like crap lately. I don’t know what their problem is but they don’t seem to care about regular returning customers and that’s how you keep a business like this open. It’s not the one off expensive pet sales that keep your business open to people to come in weekly and treat all your employees with respect, you treat us badly once and we can take our business elsewhere like I’m doing now. Don’t bother going there if you want to be treated like you deserve when all you want to do is support local businesses over big corporations, but this is exactly why the big ones win even if they charge more they don’t usually have people that treat customers like us badly.

I have only came here strictly for feeders and clean-up crews. They have a great selection of feeders, but their prices are higher than the feeders I buy online. They are very friendly and knowledgeable. They seem like they take care of their pets well, but I have never purchased one from them. They have a variety of tanks, lighting & accessories as well. Purchased two nice pieces of wood from them that my beardie enjoys. Overall, they are expensive, but I enjoy supporting a small company. Worth the price!

Today we went in and were helped out like no other reptile store. We bought a tarantula and they built a little enclosure for it which looks really great. I highly recommend them. Will be back for more.

I have got my beautiful gargoyle gecko and now this gorgeous bearded dragon from here. The customer service is awesome. They are very informative and helpful with any questions or concerns. My partner and I are very happy with our reptile babies.

Really excellent place, all the animals here are well cared for and in amazing habitats. Trent was super helpful and answered all my questions and was nice enough to show me multiple snakes so I could get one I really liked.

Came by to look at some snakes and was able to hold some. Jay was very helpful in explaining the different snakes personalities and how they're cared for. Would definetly come back to get a snake when i'm ready ! :)

Pretty disappointed! Bought a bulb a week ago and the night I got it plugged it in and the bulb was a bad bulb it came on and then went right off. Just got a chance to exchange it for another and the employee told me he can do nothing for me cuz I don’t have a receipt.. which I never take one and was never even told the specifics of their return policy! I bought my bearded dragon from them and shop here regularly to get insects and what not for him. To tell me you can do nothing for me when you can see I purchased it from you is poor business and now you have lost my business because that is not how you treat a regular customer!

I bought a hognose from this place a few days ago and this little guy ate the day right after I brought him home. He is very healthy and the girl who I talked to there about him was very knowledgeable and informative. Worst customer service. I bought 24qt reptisoil and asked for a refund because I did not need it and they said no refund or store credit even though the receipt says refunds on all products are store credit only. This place does not know how to conduct business, definitely do not recommend. Go to Pratt's Pets they will take care of you.

This place is awesome. Great advice on my snake. Good product variety and reasonably priced. You could probably get a dollar cheaper at Amazon, but you'd miss out on guidance. I've saved money from getting the right advice here instead of guessing online. They have fresh reptile food here, clean. Thanks I'll keep coming back. A++

If you love reptiles or are a hobbyist/keeper such as myself this is the place to be. Amazing and affordable materials/enclosures/supplies and reptiles in PROPER husbandry as well as not cohabbed improperly. I love this place. One of probably 2 good reptile stores in Phoenix.

I got my green tree frog and most of the stuff for his vivarium here including some plants. I also get my crickets to feed him as well. They are very helpful and literally have everything you need to both build and fill your creatures tank with including snakes, giecos, frogs, lizards, turtles and spiders.
