I had a great experience yesterday buying a large cactus in the garden center. There were many varieties of cacti, aloes, and other succulents in addition to other indoor and outdoor plants and pots.

I had a great experience with Reggie in the window blinds department. She was able to solve a problem I had, and recommended very beautiful, but inexpensive options. She cut everything up for me, and it all fits perfect at my house.

I stopped by this location to look for a specific plant. The first person I asked for help told me she didn't work in the plant department but helped me locate someone who did. When I asked the second person to help me locate said plant, she told me, "I don't know, you just have to look around until you find it." And went back to watering the plants. Mind you, I was told to go to this specific person because she was the garden specialist. It was not very helpful, and she treated me like I was bothering her.

Typically go to Lowe's because this HD location has dissappointed in the past. Obviously I didn't learn my lesson as I came here specifically for some cast iron welding sticks that their app claimed multiples were in-stock and Lowe's wasn't carrying. Also was trying to avoid a longer drive to Ace Hardware. Floor reps were useless. Didn't know where they were so simply said they would "zero" it out. I worked in HD over 20 years ago and it just isn't the same.

The customer service person, Carlos, who helped us in many aspects, was super friendly and knowledgeable. He helped us with information about pavers, staining the pavers, and selecting the best grass seed for our needs.

My husband and I were in Home Depot yesterday to check out a barbecue. We couldn’t immediately find it, so asked where it was located. The customer service we received from the staff was just amazing. The representatives take you where you need to go and make sure you have all the information and assistance you need.We decided to purchase the barbecue, but had no way to get it home. We ended up renting a box truck from Home Depot. The price was really reasonable. The customer service gentleman offered to move the truck to the front of the store, helped my husband load the barbecue, and then even strapped it down for us. His name is Mark.I can’t tell you how impressed we were with the assistance provided to us, all done with smiles and positive attitudes. I wish I had gotten all the names of the helpful workers. They deserve praise! Thank you, Home Depot, for making us feel appreciated. Outstanding experience!

The customer service at this location has been on a decline for long time now. I love Home Depot but after the experience I had today, I am never going back. I have filed a complaint with the store manager and hoping for a call back.

if you need a part from home depot(ANY OTHER HOME DEPOT) you must be ready to find somebody that knows what youre talking about. HOPE that personel are working on their areas and know where to find materials. HOPE that the shelves are well stocked and dont have to wait too long for somebody to find it and rwach it for you. HOPE that their availability counts are correct ans NOT at their truck pallets. and HOPE that their system for phone sales doesnt go down.FOR ME at this particular home depot almost all of these has happened every time am there.

Home Depot is by far My favorite hardware store. I like the huge variety of products & the prices are fair too. Also, it seems like All of the people that work there are super friendly & very helpful! I would recommend Home Depot to anyone. 😊

We’ll stocked and the employees are very helpful. I asked one gentleman a question and he gave me an honest answer but didn’t find what I was looking for. A minute later he comes back with someone from that department who was able to help me. He didn’t have to do that because we had gone our separate directions. Nice to see an employee to go the extraMike even though you aren’t expecting it.

I shop here a couple times a week. The trade professionals are on duty first thing in the morning (ie: plumber, electrician, etc) and are always very helpful with troubleshooting and planning projects.

The location at Lake Pleasant Parkway is very understaffed. Waited over 20 minutes for someone to help at the wire cutting station. Then, an older woman from appliances came over, tried to get me to buy packaged Wire. I told her they didn't have, and I needed pre-packaged. I said if you dont have the staffing to do it or what I need, that is ok, I will go across the street to Lowes. Then she got a nasty attitude, so I just walked away. Then the young guy at the checkout was about as slow and lazy as the appliance lady was, as I was putting my things on the counter. He says, "Please slow down, you are going too fast. I found it just horrible staffing and customer service for a large town home improvement store. I usually use the Cottonwood AZ store where I live. Much better staffing and customer service. If you look at my reviews, 98 % are positive. But this location deserves this review.

We’ve attempted to have concrete delivered to several job sites and it has been a nightmare. The first time they forgot to load the concrete on the truck and drove all the way to the job site with no concrete. Now this time the driver saw there was a guard gate and didn’t even attempt to speak to the guard to let him through to make delivery so they had to re schedule and they promised to have it sent out as the first delivery for this morning between 6-8am and it is now after 8am and the tracker says they are 7 stops away. Going to start using Lowe’s from now on this is ridiculous.

Don't have self check out if you're gonna watch me check out pick my stuff up walk 3 steps and ask for a receipt I put in my pocket already. Litterly had to find a place to put the stuff I just picked up to show them a receipt they watched print out watched me pay for my items and still asked for a receipt after I pick up my items are you kidding, don't have self check out if you're gonna still bother people for receiptsHere's a pic since you guys want to see it to badly

Here's why HD is horrible and I never shop there. They rip off customers on multiple levels, consistently, and it's downright insulting. But sometimes we're forced to shop there as they've priced mom and pop to death. I needed bungie cords, simple enough. Price per cord listed $1.98 on the shelf. Check out, and mind you I'm forced to check myself out now as if spending my own money to enrich HD shareholders isn't enough because they cant 'afford' to pay employees to complete this task, I notice that they're charging me $2.58 per cord. 30% MORE than the shelf price. I ask the lone soul working the self checkout why and she says the price on the shelf is wrong but if I walk down to Returns they can refund me, and instructs me to check the rest of my purchases(yikes). I walk to Returns, they proceed to tell me the shelf price is wrong to which I remind them that the customers don't have access to their computer network so the shelf price is the ONLY price. Yes, I had to tell them this and show a picture of the shelf price. They then refunded me the difference after some debate(no refund for my time). They no doubt have been overcharging for other items, but if you bought bungie cords from this location recently they owe you 30% refund. Cool profit mechanism!Note-this is the 2nd time at this HD that I've been overcharged and I rarely shop there.

This Home Depot has terrible customer service. As I was struggling to measure and cut a PVC pipe two employees were talking about their lunch. Near the self checkout registers 4 employees were gathered and just chatting. It was definitely a jovial chat. Everywhere I looked employees were chatting and not helping employees. This is not the first or second time I have observed it. It is in need of necessary staff development on Customer Service.

This is the king of terrible inventory management/updates. Went to purchase something that said they had 61 stock of on the app — they actually had 0. I understand seeing 5 or 10 and then learning that all of something was purchased, but 61? Come on guys. Get it together. Not the first time something like this has happened here either.Only reason there are two stars instead of one is due to the helpful staff. The boots on the ground are awesome. Those handling inventory management/updates here, not so much...

We bought a GE refrigerator and since 1st it was install it did not make ice,I called and it took 2 weeks for it to be check for right installation, they noted it didnt work and stated they will bring another one. They did bring a new 1 in another 2weeks; the 2nd new refrigerator would not dispence ice all the time sometimes it would other times you had to open and close the door few times for it to work. After 7months it stop making ice for 1 week and now it doesnt dispence the ice. When I called homedepot for the number for GE, when I told him I would not buy any electrical appliances again there, he stated it was not home depot that I had 1 year warranty with GE. Well I bought the refrigerator at home depot who from very beginning had me call GE. Home depot makes the sell and as soon Big appliance reaches your house they wash their hands , if it doesnt work on arrival you have to deal with maker of item. This is the first and last time I buy big appliance from Home depot for its be better to buy it used than at home depot.

I am in the process of remodeling my kitchen through home depot's kitchen department. Their designer, Kim, has been with home depot for a number of years and is very knowledgeable. There are a number of home depots that are closer to my house but this location's kitchen demo section is twice as big as most and I wanted someone who had plenty of experience. Kim helped my husband and I design a kitchen that fits all our needs and stay around our budget. She understood what we were looking for and didn't try to push or talk us into anything that we didn't need. She made suggestions that were brilliant but would immediately respect our decision if we said we didn't want something. At the end of the design/ purchase process there was a misunderstanding that concerned me. However, Kim and her management team worked to find a solution that ultimately ended up being in my favor. They kept me informed and touched base with me multiple times while the situation was being resolved. It would have been easier for them to ignore my concerns but they took them seriously and showed a lot of integrity in the process. I would recommend this store and this team to anyone who is looking to remodel their kitchen.

I just got off with Melissa at the Pro Desk at the Happy Valley and Lake Pleasant location and I’m blown away with her customer service!! Top Notch!! She placed my order and did a physical check for one of the items!! I don’t want this to go unnoticed!! Good help is hard to find these days!! Give her a raise!!

Feels dirty and unorganized compared to Lowe's which is across the road. At least in Lowe's, I feel welcomed and I'm actually greeted by employees. It feels better plus, there isn't much of a price difference. The energy matters.
