This location provided such a lovely memorable experience.My relatives and I visited a competing grocery store and were promised fresh items from the Hot Food Case; however upon getting home we noticed that the items were dry and had expired in texture 👈 so I contacted Safeway (located at 28455 N Vistancia Blvd-Peoria, AZ 85383) and spoke to the Store manager "Isaac".He was so kind/understanding to our situation while accommodating in such a magnificent way! Isaac even assured that our food would be fresh and ready for pickup asap!When I arrived at the deli section to retrieve our food order, a very kind young man named "Taylor" had our items freshly packed and ready to go! Taylor had a warm presence, genuine smile, and was so pleasant interacting with.Truly enjoyed my first experience at this Safeway location; and I will definitely be back due to the wonderful customer service provided by both Isaac and Taylor. Thank you again!

I’ve been shopping here a few years. Had some good experiences but the prices are way higher than anywhere else. I’ve gotten sour milk, seen hard bread, rotten cheese, etc.The people are usually friendly but for some time now you’ve had a dark haired heavy set young man at self checkout and he is absolutely rude! He has no manners, he’s unfriendly, and has no people skills at all. If you’re going to work with the public you should at least be polite and friendly. He is just awful. He speaks down to you (everybody that I’ve seen), he doesn’t greet you or say thank you - just terrible. He needs to be retrained or moved to stocking shelves or something. I’m going to have to stop shopping there.

Fry’s has the pick up grocery process going on so much more than Safeway. I have complained with no changes. Fry’s replaces out of stock items with some equivalent or better. Safeway can’t even match an item. For instance…I needed top round to make jerky and they replaced it with round steak.On top of that some of the older cashiers are not friendly at all. The young kids do such a better job with customer service. Can’t wait until fry’s opens.

They offer me a senior discount every first Wednesday of the month. I think that's a nice gesture. I go there every week on Wednesday and most of the time find what I need.

Had Starbucks and the man that was working did NOT have any personality. Did not say good morning and did NOT say thank you. The drinks were good. I'm not happy about customer service. He would not work for me. I think that his name is Andrew.

Mindy is an exceptional representative for your store. She is in the Pharmacy, so not everyone gets to understand. Always smiling, helpful, accommodating and personable. Rare in today's world.

Nice that they bag the groceries but I’d prefer not to have the soft stuff on the bottom under the canned goods. Kinda makes me angry and disappointed in the quality of the employees.

Overall excellent! Love the staff, especially! Everyone is outrageously friendly! The only complaint I have is it seems to take a bit longer for things to be restocked than other Safeway stores on the west side.

The manager, Andrew, is about as rude and unpersonable as they come. It's wild to mock and roll your eyes about a customer right in front of them to the barista. I wish someone asking for no caramel in the bottom of their drink was my biggest problem in life.

Don't go to this location after 4PM because that is when all the grumpy employees are there. They were not very helpful and really did not want to be at work.

Went here yesterday 4/17/2023 store was clean and well stocked. The signage at each isle makes it very easy to find what you're looking for. Lines were long, but the cashier was good at getting people checked out quickly. You do have to bag your own stuff and cart it yourself. Thats strange to me, but everyone else seems to be use to it. Where I'm from they bag your groceries and carry them to your car. All in all it was a decent experience and I have no complaints.

The flower department is absolutely amazing. Patty’s apartment is typically everything I need and very fresh. My two stars are literally going because of the outrageous prices. I can’t wait until Fry’s opens up down the street and they can stop taking advantage of being the only game in town. I’ve only had one bad experience with an employee there. And it was very awkward. Everybody has a bad day. The two stars lacking are because they are literally gouging and the app barely ever works and their Wi-Fi always gives an error saying that it’s not compatible with my browser. I’ve use three different browsers and got the same message. When I bring it up, nobody cares and they actually act like it’s my first cell phone and I should learn how to use a device.

Today I purchased a pound of chicken tenders . They were horrible, over cooked and very dry. They should of not been able to sell them. I trashed them. The food court could use some improvement. I never write review. The store is a very nice store my first bad experience.

If there was 0 star to give i would have done that , my wife had to go yesterday to pick up her medicine from the pharmacy and the pharmacist was completely unprofessional, 1st she said that she is busy and by herself and does not know if she have the it or not and she said it in very rude way ? No worries understand short staff and get frustrated, she also said we will text you when its ready and we have not got anything Period it is inhaler that my wife will be taking for the first time and because her breathing problems lately however went this morning and asked the same pharmacist about medicine, she said she would check in and all of a sudden said oh it’s setting there on the counter !!really ?? Long story short give us the medicine here we go. You can leave now. We have to ask her to show us how to use the medicine and she tell us to go on YouTube. It can explain it better than her. Are you kidding me this is how you treat your patience. Is this how you treat your customers we are residence and we live in this area. I’ll be using Safeway all the time we have never had such a problem with this location or any other locations but treating somebody that’s need this medicine this bad this is completely unacceptable. I’m beyond furious. I did not want to go to the store back and create a scene because I believe you cannot fix bad behavior with another one ,I’m writing this review to share our experience as we treated to let whom ever concern know about this and it have to be fixed .

Best Safeway I've been to. Extremely helpful and friendly staff. Go above and beyond to make sure my shopping experience is pleasant and that I can get it done. Always have fresh food and great options. Rarely do I ever find an empty shelf. Prices are always on point.

I love shopping here, even through the whole "Difficult times" the staff has always done their best to make my shopping experience worth while. The sales are fantastic and being able to load all coupon before you get to checkout makes everything go so much faster. I know people complain about the the phone app being too difficult but honestly they don't know how to use it. I have always made my trips speedy and easy for both the employees and myself. I love shopping here and I love the remodel and I love the wide variety of products that are available at this location!

There is nothing like being in a hurry with your arms full trying to make it in and out of a store, only to find that cashiers no longer exist. I must now not only work my full-time job but I must work when I get my groceries. EVERY SINGLE TIME I am at this location, I am forced to use self check out while no less than 4 employees stand around the customer service area picking their nose. Today, the card reader was down and I basically had to beg for help. When I announced my displeasure of self check out, the manager stated "well the world is changing" to you mam'm, Mrs. Management...your world is definitely going to change when you no longer have a job. Open your eyes and know you will literally be jobless within 5 years.

The convenience is very excellent! The sanitary conditions and the store as well are very exquisite. The items and goods sold the store are like all store except the quality is spot on. No groceries had any signs of defects mold or botched spots of any kind. The prices are very satisfactory as well not once was I disappointed in price range as it never came close to choking my wallet out. In all seriousness I highly recommend coming to this place as the staff are willing to help anybody with any grocery related needs and the store overall is of great quality again recommend coming here it is a treat!!

This is a small neighborhood store with friendly employees, an in-store Starbucks, and really great deli with serve-yourself soup bar, and wings along with a sushi bar, sandwich shoppe (with breakfast tacos in the a.m.) and delicious pastas, chicken, and picnic-type fare. My favorite soup they offer is Loaded Baked Potato with Bacon. They recently brought back the fresh salad bar, too!They also have a small florist with bouquets starting at around $3+ and a small selection of houseplants and succulents.The store is usually well stocked but inventory is limited due to the smaller size of the building. Because it's a neighborhood store without a lot of competition nearby, it's a good idea to watch the prices of some items which are priced quite a bit higher than stores off of Happy Valley Rd.An added benefit to this store is they have a pharmacy and a medical lab in the back for vaccinations, blood draw, etc., for your doctor's orders (or even lab testing without a doctor's orders).

I do not like, nor do I appreciate when employees of an establishment have an attitude about them and it's not just once, not even twice, it's every time I don't believe that they should act as if they are better than anyone else when they are looking at, speaking to, and worst of all ignoring their customers. We live in a very nice area, there are some customers that are "less fortunate" they don't deserve to be treated as if they are less than anyone else especially by staff when they actually have money to purchase the items. Please don't look through them. Look at them, see them, at any moment in time it could be you. Needless to say this makes me very, very angry. I don't have anything nice to say so maybe I should have said nothing at all, but I am telling what I see, what I hear, what I feel.As far as their product.. I will say they have a good selection in their meat department, their sales of buy one get two free I'm not going to lie, they are good, I'm just not certain that makes up for everything I posted prior to this last tidbit.

I actually like the store and people working there. Because of high prices, we use only for quick pick-up. You definitely pay for convenient location. The self check out was malfunctioning on 1/3 of our items, but attendant was quick to help out.

Safeway is a great little store. Good sale prices, friendly staff. I don't mind spending a few extra dollars compared to frys or Walmart for the better meat and produce and friendlier staff and patrons.
