I was looking for a ramp or steps for our older dog. She'd previously jump in and out of the vehicle when going to the park but I noticed recently a small limp and trepidation.the selection was not tremendously large, but it was a retail store, and the employees pointed us in the right direction while others, you could tell were doing their absolute best to help other customers.

PetSmart's great I never have any problems there I always can find whatever I need I've been going there for years for my pets so I really don't need any help. However the cashiers are helpful and when I do need help and they're also very polite and cheerful

Shoutout to Rueben! I haven’t had outstanding customer service like he provided in a long time. He welcomed everyone in the store with a warm, friendly “hello how are you?” while maintaining the only open register and managing the pick up orders. He gave a dog who was in line a treat and socialized with all of the customers. He reminded me I had points I could use which I often forget about unless asked. He was energized, thoughtful, funny, and kind. He is an asset to the team and deserves a raise! I will definitely return to this location due to the service he provided.

I had couple of small issues before but I didn’t want to make a big deal, but this time on Tuesday 9/2023 one of my Golden Doodle when my wife pick her up she had 2 ball spots, and when she ask what happened no one in there knew any thing even they had the nerves to say that “she came like that” we didn’t do anything to her one want to take responsibility for it, then the manager came my wife explained what happened and the manager when back to talk to the groomers and she never came back to my wife, she keep her waiting. I recommend all of you to take a picture or video of your dogs before they put their hands on them, here I attached the photo of what they did. Obviously these people have no idea of one professionalism, responsible, and honesty means or what it is, we will make sure our friends and family’s know what happened here so they don’t have to go through that like we did.

My beta is doing just fine with my glofish altho the female that sold me the fish yesterday told me "no returns" because I was putting them in the same tank. She clearly had no idea what she was talking about. All 4 fish are happy in their forever home!

Do not come here if you are looking for assistance or welcoming staff. Waited for employees to come help us with the fish for way too long. A male employee shouted rudely at us “it’ll be second.” We then stopped an employee that was passing by and she clearly did not want to help either. She was just as rude redirecting us to Petco when their website said they had what we were looking for in stock. Looks like Petco gained a customer. Don’t waste your time here if you need help or have questions. They clearly don’t want to help their customers.

We have a rescue dog with some anxiety issues and dog reactivity, we are slowly trying to socialise her and we took her into this store today. She got a little over excited at the other dogs there while we were in checkout and started doing her mean girl bark, the cashier (I think his name is Ruben?) was absolutely fantastic. He didn't make us feel bad he just started calling our girl to get her attention, gave her a treat and let her lick his hand. He is awesome, super friendly, super professional, an absolute credit to the company. Thank you so much 😁♥️

Got great service here!!Walked in and an employee was standing there so I asked him where to find what we were looking for and he directed us right to what I asked for!! We bought the dog shoes/boots in this case and were on our way home in just a few short minutes.He liked the dog shoes and you’ll see the pic of my thermometer showing the pavement was 150°.

Customer service is not great because they do not have enough employees on the floor. Also I have bought so many fish and a lot of them are not lasting for more than a week. And some of the employees that they do have are not knowledgeable in BIRDS and FISH.

Great customer service by Ruben Herrera on 1/25/24 (S-1041/R-103/T-977/A-576638), who knew exactly what to do to get my info updated assigned to my phn #! Not like the previous (1st time visit to PetSmart) where the guy immediately said it couldn't be done and referred me to my phn company, not only lazy but saying anything to get out of work like the female employee I ran into in the aisle who said call customer service, not wrong but again another employee wanting the check not the work. Because of Ruben I will continue to visit PetSmart, hire more like him!

One of my favorite pet stores. As member of reward perks, we got a lot of benefits such us birthday gift to each pet, discount, price match and free goodies and coupons so often. This store also clean and has a nice staff and always ask if we needed some help. Last time we went there, the manager involved explaining to us which one the kitten food has more beneficial based on the weight, activities level of our kitten. We also bought several cat perches and hammock. This is also the only place near us that having many choices of nail caps with beautiful colors since we don't want to declawed our cats.

If you’re looking for a sweet absolutely loving cat please take Bynx home!! I would take him if I didn’t have so many cats already. Bynx had my heart at first sight he’s so playful and loving even through the window he just wants pets and love.I bought a solid gold wet food for him specifically and wrote his name on it with a paint marker I had on me 🙁 I’m really hopeful it will go to him specifically because he deserves it I hope he goes to a good loving home soon.

First timer, it wasn't hard to figure out the layout of the store, prices are fair, store is clean & the employees are so nice. There was a line forming cause a patron was having a hard time with something at check out, and one of the girls was quick to open up another register to help out. It's a bit far for me, but I will be back. Poe really likes his collar too!

We went in for our Golden Pups 1 year birthday & the staff was so sweet and showed us exactly where to find birthday cakes for dogs! In particular the cashier Ruben was so enthusiastic greeting everyone who walked in and he was so kind to us and our puppy! You can tell he loves what he does, and made our visit even more fun!

I prefer this location over the one closer to me in Surprise, due to the staff for both Petsmart and Banfield (even though we do not use their veterinary services) have proven to be far more friendly and intellectual (in my opinion) to my husband and I within the last few months. We had been going to Surprise location for years, but the Peoria location has definitely won us over after we had a problem attempting to switch the prescription cat food our older kitties need, which my husband wrote a recent review about. We have 8 rescue cats and 3 rescue dogs! So we're at Petsmart weekly!
