I recently visited the fish department at PetSmart and was happy with the selection. The selection of aquatic life is diverse, catering to both novice and experienced aquarium enthusiasts. The tanks are well-maintained, showcasing the fish in a clean and healthy environment. I particularly appreciated the knowledgeable staff who were eager to share advice and tips on fish care and tank maintenance. They were attentive and answered all my questions with patience and expertise. The range of aquarium supplies available is commendable, offering everything needed to set up and maintain a beautiful aquarium. PetSmart's fish department is definitely a top choice for anyone interested in aquatics.

So enjoy & am thankful for my Pets Mart day care for my 14yo standard poodle. Been there so many times your crew knows us, calls us by name. Even my dog seems to know he's w/friends! Your boarding/day care are the next best thing to my sweet old boy being cared for @ home! Thank you!

store was clean and service was great here. There was only one register open and the person in front of me was having issues paying so i was waiting for a bit but another worker rushed over after noticing and opened a register to check me out! 10/10 customer service❤️❤️❤️

Extremely frustrated and disappointed in this grooming location. Got a call after around 3 hours of my dog being at their facility. They said my dog had diarrhea and they had to stop service after only giving her a bath and brush. No nail trim or any other services done. Before my dog went there her BMs were solid and when I picked her up and let her out, again, her BMs were solid. Do you guys even let dogs out to go to the bathroom if they have been sitting at your facility for 3 hours?! A bath and brush should not be taking this long. Absolutely ridiculous!I was still charged the normal bath and brush price without receiving everything that came with full treatment. (I.E. nail trim) I guess the employees just didn’t feel like doing their job today and saying my dog had diarrhea was a good way to get out of it. Great reason to try the cage-less groomer near by. Don’t waste your money and time here! Experience is already traumatic enough for a dog, let alone sitting in a kennel for three hours.

Please listen to the reviews for the grooming salon and do not bring your dog here. I brought my dog in today and was told she needed to be shaved completely down due to matting; I refused to let the salon shave her down and called her vet right after who told us to take her in, after the vet saw her fur she laughed and said they were just too lazy to take the time to brush her fur out. My vet groomed her perfectly with no issues.Don't take your pets here.

This location is excellent!!! My wife and I came in to get a Betta fish about two weeks ago and the service was phenomenal!!! A young lady named Natalie explained in detail all of our options and also gave us detailed instructions on how to care for our new family member. This was just the most recent highlight too. We often bring my daughter in to see all the animals and everyone is always very friendly and helpful. This is where we go for the gear for all of our critters!!!

I wanted to write in and share my experience at the Lake Pleasant store and why my family and I will never be shopping at Petsmart again. We went in to buy each of our children their own fish. After speaking with one associate and being informed of all of the items that we needed to purchase for fish other than a beta, we decided to change our original plan and purchase a beta for each. After allowing the kids to pick their beta since they were not able to go with their original plan we finally got to the checkout at which point the cashier asked if we were buying a bigger tank for the betas that we were getting. We replied no we were only putting 1 fish in each of the containers that we were purchasing (two 1 gallon bowls and one 2.5 gallon tank) so it would be fine. She identified that we would need a minimum 5 gallon tank to put them in. Apparently that half gallon was going to make all the difference when we put 3 in one tank. She then identified that we need to purchase a filter and pump system for each of them and we needed to buy a heater for each of them because betas prefer to be at 80 degrees (not 79, not 81... 80). She identified if we were not willing to purchase these items she was not willing to sell us the beta fish. She didn't see any of the irony regarding the fact that in the store the fish are kept in a 6 ounce cup of their own waste with no filter, no pump, no fresh water, and half of them were floating on their side. Our children were looking forward to their pets, but because of an extremely skewed sense or ironic moral high ground from the cashier (who was ok with the fish living in a 6 ounce cup of waste rather than a 1 or 2.5 gallon tank wit fresh water), we will have to go elsewhere from now on. I will tell everyone I can about this.

I bring my poodle to PetSmart grooming salon every 4 weeks for a wonderful bath, groom, teeth brushing and toenails clipped. I love the care my groomer takes with him. I highly recommend this facility!

We had brought our pup in for an overnight stay at the pet hotel. When I initially made the appointment I will admit I did not book a grooming or a puppy day camp, after speaking with my wife we wanted to change that. When we dropped our pup off we asked the receptionist if we could add the groom and the day camp, which she said we could do.When we picked her up the next day, she very obviously was not groomed. Absolutely covered in dirt, slime, and grime (I'm hoping from playing with the other dogs). When I booked the appointment, I was quoted $38 for just the stay. Looking at the receipt I was not charged for the extra services, (which ok) but I was charged $49.00 for the stay. Talk about a bait and switch.On top of it all when we got her back she was incredibly nervous and erratic for several hours. When she finally calmed down and we got her home she slurped down 3 full bowls of water in a couple hours. That's concerning. Was she not getting adequate water while she was there? She continued to be incredibly lethargic, and abnormal for several hours. We also got a good look at her collar and there was a huge chunk taken out of her collar. (Can provide photos) We were never told how this happened or if anything happened at all.So far I am pretty upset that she could be treated like this. I get things happen, but at least have the decency to tell the owners.

We took in four miniature Shih Tzu‘s for grooming at Lake Pleasant Drive in Peoria. They did a fabulous job grooming, our pets and getting them done quickly. However, the problem I have is that we were given one price and charge a totally higher price .We were told it would be $71 per dog for the ultimate treatment. And that we would receive $10 back at the cash register which brings a total of $40 deduction. When I disputed the bill they told me one of my dogs cost $25 more than the $71 that they originally told me. And the reason is special shampoo. But I wasn’t told about that in the beginning when the prices were first discussed. This is called bait and switch.71×4 comes to $244 not $344 for some reason $100 disappeared somewhere. When I contacted the grooming salon, they said they discussed it with my wife and I. The $96 extra for one dog was never discussed. They do not give you a bill when you pick up the dog it’s already at The register, so you have no time to overlook it.So my suggestion if you take your dog to this Petsmart grooming salon on N. Lake Pleasant Dr. in Peoria, beware, check your bill and refuse to pay it until it’s exactly what they said it would be.I am not done with this. I will take it up the to the district office

TERRIBLE GROOMING SERVICE! I have a golden doodle that needed to be shaved down for the hot months coming up. I took her here knowing he had mats at the back of her neck where her collar rubs. Before taking her back they looked her over and said they can take care of her. I get a call 40min later saying I need to come pick her up because they can’t get one of the mats and I need to take her somewhere else. I’m fine with needing to do that if they are not comfortable trimming my dog that low BUT to not shave the rest of her body so she looks somewhat presentable to take home?! To get scheduled with another groomer can take days or weeks to get in! They had me take her home like this. Very disappointed and I’m lost for words on how poor of service this was.

Store is always well stocked! Especially the Rx food… THANK YOU. Building has a ton of shade and sidewalks for your pet to walk in from the parking lot- (a definite plus!)one thing that I don’t get about all the petsmarts- is PLEASE KEEP all the loose rawhides, chews and other edible products that are not sealed up off the first and second shelves. Dogs with food allergies can not have them!! I love that I can bring my pet to the store- but I also can’t risk them accidentally getting one of those products in their mouth. Please consider moving them. Besides that- this store is excellent, clean and the staff is very friendly. Thank you!

This was the first trip to Petsmart Groomers at this location. Apparently, when I instructed the groomer to blend the head, she understood it as shaving the head. I meant to blend the back of the head to the neck. I’m a groomer myself and I assumed she wouldn’t touch the face. What groomer shaved off the dog’s eyebrows??? I’m not sure I want to return again. The store itself was clean and well stocked. This review is based on my grooming experience.

Cannot express how grateful I am my 4yr old German Shepard, Logan got taken care of by Dr Klein and her staff. Logan got his paws pricked by cacti and had to be sedated for removal. The staff was very attentive to Logan and supportive of me during the process.

Not even worth one star. Awful experience with the PetsHotel. Employees were completely unprofessional and disrespectful. Upon arrival they were all sitting on the counter and acted annoyed to have to do anything. Completely unhelpful. This rude teenager turned away two of our three dogs for shot record issues. Never called to tell me there was an issue and when I asked why he said “we don’t have to do that”. I’ve been taking my other dog there for years and have always been contacted if there was a potential issue which would keep her from being boarded. So instead you wait until I’m dropping them off at 6:30 on a Friday night to tell me you need more documentation and I have a flight leaving first thing in the morning. How am I supposed to do that? For $1400 for the week… I think you can make a phone call to let me know. The kid was snarky and rude and scoffed at me after anything I said. I’m not sure what happened to this place but they really need to clean house with how this place conducts their business. I will never bring my animals there and will make sure anyone I know doesn’t either.

Dog-friendly store makes this the go to if you have pets. Also, they sell stuff for cats, fish, birds, and, of course, live crickets for the pet tarantula. At 17 cents each, its beats chasing down bugs in the back yard. (Warning: do not let them escape. The cat will go nuts. ) The fish guy told us he's very fond of the fish, so I'm pretty sure that means they get good care here. Will stop but not pet other customers dogs because even though he may look like a killer pit bull, he's just a shy little sweetheart. I got a cat here once. Best. Cat. Ever.

This location is very clean. The pets hotel staff is great. The grooming staff always takes wonderful care of my energetic large puppy. And they keep 2 staff at the registers here during the evening so the line goes fast. It is the best PetSmart I've been to. I'm glad it's the closest one to my house.

POOR EXPERIENCE!! First time pup parents. Brought our 10wk puppy to be vaccinated & they asked if we wanted her to be seen for a physical to & we said yes. Got her weight & temp. They took her away & brought her back in LESS then 5mins & said she was all good. Charged $64 & never seen or spoke to a veterinarian in regards to my questions that were given to the technician. No documentation on our visit or anything.. Spoke to a female manger for the vet over the phone who read all this stuff to me that was documented on my pup & had NO knowledge of anything because I never seen the actual physical on my pup & nothing was ever discussed w/us & the manger saw nothing wrong w/this visit?? After talking w/several people in regards to this situation not one person has brought there pet in for a physical or anything & NOT seen a vet.. Definitely lost our business.. LEASON LEARN!! NEVER AGAIN!! 😔

The store is very clean. The clerks are friendly. The only negative is that they do not have enough grooming area & their groomers call out sick & cancel appointments. Two times, they told me after I arrived that they would not be able to groom my dog because somebody called out sick.

My review is low due to their policy. I recently visited the puppy adoptions this last Saturday when I noticed a male we looked at was nurtured. They told me he was 8 weeks old. I questioned them about this and they said that Petsmart required all the puppies they bring in be spayed and nutured first. I'm suprised it's allowed that puppies are getting spayed and neutered so young considering the risks it puts on the dogs. It made me sick honestly. I asked how much the puppy was and he told me 400$. That's insane. It's a mutt off the res. Not purebred not fit for show. 100$ is reasonable but not 400$. 800$ and I can get a purebred great dane puppy from a small breeder and its akc. This felt like it was profit not for the sake of the puppy at all. This isnt rehoming anymore like it used to be. Felt like a business looking for a profit. I was interested in the puppies they brought in since ours passed away but not anymore. I'll be looking for a responsible breeder.

Friendly staff. I was disappointed that the larger water bottles were all out except for a model I initially didn't want for my Guinea Pig but I think it will work out. Friendly evening staff. Not too busy. Kids loved seeing the animals.
