See what happens when you pay attention to what is in your own backyard! I never knew NW Coffee existed until I started my podcast, I'll Be Seeing You (the podcast created for my love of coffee) and discovered NW Coffee which literally is only 1 mile down the road from me.This place is bright, cheery, and the staff super friendly! I ordered their Matcha Latte and OMG!!! This latte is divine! Smooth, rich with a slightly sweet earthy flavor that I love. I also ordered their avocado toast and again I was floored by the presentation alone! I have never seen avocado toast so beautifully presented! And, it was delicious, filling and something that I know will be a favorite each time I visit! I HIGHLY recommend NW Coffee to those looking for a locally owned and operated coffee shop. Support your local coffee shops. If the owners see this review, I'd love to interview them for my podcast, if possible!

Super cool spot to hang out and drink coffee. I ordered the Mexican Mocha (iced) and it was delicious. Loved the big roll up door that opens up the space and connects you to the outside lounge. Great vibe here. Staff was super friendly.

Very friendly staff members and prompt service. We enjoyed everything we had. I tried the vanilla lavender iced latte and it was really good! They will do well because they are one of the only coffee shops in the Vistancia area of Peoria.

Over priced and never worth it. I love supporting small, especially coffee shops. The premium cost is always worth it to me, but not here!Every time I go it seems like they’re out of everything but a house coffee or a muffin. Sometimes not even that. Morning or afternoon doesn’t matter evidently. I’ve tried ordering food to be told they don’t have any; a specialty drink item? they don’t have that either. But they’ll make something similar. While that’s fine if it’s a few and far between experience but that’s not been the case for me. It’s not as if I’m going ten minutes to close, why are they out of everything?When they’ve been out of coffee, the barista responds in a way that suggests “I’m not about to brew more just for your one cup” slyly - sorry guys, but that is seriously your main job….??? Brew the coffee and sell it.Went with a friend once and she ordered a drink and paid to add a shot of espresso. When she got her drink they said they didn’t put it in, so she asked for them to do it and then they charged her AGAIN for the shot she already paid for! It was hardly worth the price to begin with, but for that to happen is even after her saying so is absurd. Receipt and all, they didn’t care.I was hopeful for NW each time I’ve been in but time and again it’s not worth it! Hope other experiences are not like any of mine.

Came to try this local spot and so glad I did.Their coffee is so good!I got the white caramel. So good! Just the perfect blend. My sister got the prickly pear and that was good too.They also have blended drinks.The place is big and they also have a patio.

Felt like we were bothering the employees by even being there. The barista didn’t even acknowledge us. She looked angry that she even had to make drinks for us and burned our drinks. She called out my drink and when I said “Thank you” she didn’t look at me or say anything. She looks like she hates being there. A simple smile goes a long way - specially when you are in the customer service business.

I’ll start off with I’m a big fan of this place, but they are painfully slow when food is involved. I’m talking 30+ minute waits for any kind of kitchen item that’s not a muffin or bagel. And it doesn’t seem to matter when we come. I get weekend mornings are busy, but one guy in the back isn’t enough when your ticket times on a smoothie bowl or sandwich are 30 minutes…Food is always great, but don’t plan on this being a grab and go unless you order ahead or just get a drink.

We were so excited about a local coffee shop but the service definitely falls short. We’ve had two instances of rude staff who are not understanding and do not have good customer service. So disappointing. We love supporting local businesses but will definitely be taking our business elsewhere. I even tried writing the company about what happened before doing a review and they never got back to me. I recommend taking your business to other friendly local coffee shops.Also- The comment by another Customer about not honoring loyalty points is true! They claim you have a reward and refuse to honor it.

We were just stopping through on our travel day. Got a simple decaf iced vanilla latte. It almost tasted like they left the shots out entirely. I went back and asked how many shots it had because it didn’t taste like there was any coffee and was given the reason being that the “decaf is not very strong and doesn’t give the caffeine taste so it tastes more like vanilla milk.” I make lattes regularly, both caffeinated and decaf. Caffeine does not change the strength of the coffee flavor.

I came for lunch and I'm very happy with my decision the coffee is smooth but the right amount of caffeine (dark roast) the English muffin was bigger then i thought it would be nice and toasty and the peanut butter bowl with protein was really delicious the staff is super friendly and it's a clean well ventilated shop. Definitely recommend

So proud of this place! Every visit I’ve had has been met with great drinks and even better service. The baristas always have the best recommendations. I’ve tried many different hot/iced coffees, iced teas and today had the ‘desert peach nw energy blast’. It was the prettiest drink ever!

We love going to local indie(-ish) coffee shops. So we were primed to love this shop that was close to home. But it’s just average coffee, better than Starbucks but fairly unremarkable drinks. Maybe we should have taken the hint that they’re going for something closer to Dutch Bros with the sodas getting top billing on the menu.It’s a great space to have a conversation, or work; just don’t expect anything special.

This place has the most delicious Dirty Pumpkin Chai I've ever had. The decor was simple, and clean.Employees were helpful, and made the drinks with speed and precision.Prices were competitive, and even featured some great 'fall' drinks.We'd definitely come here again.

Love this place, I ducked in for a dark roast coffee. It was excellent. They offer espressos in all kinds of flavors, drip coffee, or iced coffees. Plus, they have sodas, lemonades and sparkling water blends galore to choose from (example: Skinny Babe soda is diet coke, sugar free coconut, and lime).They have organic, fair trade tea and coffee and their website says they work with local dairy suppliers and bakeries so you have the option for baked goods, acai bowls, shakes, lemonades, coffee freezers of various flavors, and more. The menu has so many choices you might want to check the website and order online so you can skip the line!The shop has an open concept and a restaurant glass overhead garage door that they open to the patio, which provides a great way to merge the indoor and outdoor dining experience into one.
