Stayed at the Cabins at the Grand Canyon west and had breakfast and dinner while we stayed here. Angel and Hector made my husband and I feel like Family. They are super welcoming and friendly. We had a good hearty breakfast and after we came back from Eagle point we had Dinner. Haulapai Taco was so good with the stew , must try! Restaurant super clean and fast service.

Menu is a bit limited but the food they serve is delicious! Folks working the kitchen were very sweet and quite willing to tweak your order (as much as possible).My wife and I both ordered the Haulapai taco (consistency is light and fluffy; taste - by itself- is like a tamed down funnel cake).If you leave hungry it’s your own darn fault. Try the green salsa on your food. It’s crazy hot but tastes good once you get acclimated to it.

This is a review for the restaurant as well as the surrounding gift shop and outlook area. What a great option outside the long lines inside Grand Canyon West! The fry bread taco was LEGIT! A great portion, fresh toppings and fluffy fry bread. The piñon stew was also really very good. Wasn’t expecting this from what seems like a dusty outpost in the middle of nowhere. The gift shop was nice too with a good range of native-themed souvenirs and helpful service to give background info about the area. On the edge of “town” there’s also a scenic outlook towards the canyon that is painted with all the colors of the southwest. A gem all around!

The price of the food was bundled in with my West Rim tour so I don't know how expensive it was. I had tacos and they were quite good. It's nothing fancy but it quells the appetite and the workers were very friendly.Vegetarian options: They don't have a lot of options but they do make a great cheese quesadilla that was approved by a vegetarian friend I went with.Kid-friendliness: The place is basically a family friendly dinner with no alcohol or tobacco or gambling. And they have a children's menu.Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs to get inside the building so it's quite accessible.

Great Ambience and food! We went during Jan 2nd weekend. It was cold and not windy. Ranch comes as the 3rd visiting point if you buy the package. This is the only restaurant in this area. Thet do have few choices but i would recommend barbeque pork ribs! It's really good. not that expensive. This place has a live music going on in background giving nice cowboy style ambience. If you are vegerarian I would probably suggest point B where you get veg burger/sandwich. Overall it is a good place. you may have to wait in queue if it is season!

The ribs are just awesome and with mash and gravy it was just heaven. Large seating area. When you enter the ranch restaurant staff tell you what you can have and where to go and where to sit down. Restaurant is air conditioned. Toilets onsite.

The chicken was tasty. The service was quick and friendly. The cookie and cornbread were a great addition to the meal. There are a lot of drink choices too. If you’re a vegetarian don’t take the gravy on the mashed potatoes and also stay clear of the beans which has pork in it. So the vegetarian options aren’t that appealing.

The atmosphere is fun to some extent. It looks like a country western high street.The food is expensive: $27 for tacos. I have stayed overnight previously and have had breakfast which was excellent. But the day time food is limited and not cheap.The gift shop is worth the visit.They also have a Hualapai Museum. It is interesting but I think there is so much more scope to extend it. I hope they will do that.Worth popping in for an hour to break ip the journey. But it is better if you stay over as there is no jo light pollution and the lodges are amazing (stayed 2022). But for today’s visit, surprisingly disappointed. Want this place to be so much more.

This place came highly recommend for authentic Hualapai Taco. I initially thought they were called Navajalo tacos. Fantastic experience. Loved my fry bread taco with vegetarian toppings. We also tried the chicken Hualapai taco option, it too comes with rice, beans, chicken, lettuce, tomatoes, cheese and sour cream on the side.Parking: Plenty of parking a few steps away from the restaurant
