There was a good experience for a long time at Big Country until an employee named Ricky who was short and demeaning to me and a few other customers in my presence on several days at that location. Though I will go there out of necessity I will always remember here condescending attitude.

Made several calls to the store during non-busy hours multiple times, and there was no answer. Needed to find out certain item in stock before we drove all the way over there but no one answered the phone after making several attempts to call. Also use the Google telephone number that did not work either

This is the best grocery store I’ve ever been to. I’m actually able to walk around and look at what they have rather than try to hurry because someone’s standing behind me. My only suggestion is that they try to get raw daily products. Prescott, Sedona, and flagstaff all have stores that sell raw milk from a brand called fond du lac farms (a local arizona farm) and they sell out with in 1-2 days. The place in Sedona even has a waiting list. If I didn’t have to drive an hour for raw milk and cheese I would be so happy:) I hope you guys see this❤️also so happy they sell local meat

I love the local raised beef they sell here. I probably will not buy beef anywhere else! It tastes delicious!

We try to stay competive with the bigger grocery stores. If you do happen to find some things that are not, remember not paying the 10% sales tax of Chino makes it more than worth it. That's cheaper than the gas to get here.

Great store for those emergency items you run out of unexpectedly. This is not a full sized grocery store and only carries a fraction of what the big stores have. Great for beer, ice, milk, bread. Very small produce section, small dairy section, as well as the meat section. Boxed and canned foods come in snack size or small portions only.

Normally when I've shopped they greet you when you walk through the door. It's a small town store usually very friendly and helpful. I walked in one cashier was on his tablet the other cashier was eating they didn't acknowledge that i was there. When I checked out the cashier acted like he didn't want to be bothered he wanted to get back to his tablet. My experience was not good. I'm not mentioning his name but I will say it was 8/4/23 3:25pm

I love that this grocery store is in Paulden and convenient. I think they carry a bit too many of the same snack items and things that the dollar store right next to them carries, though. It's hard to complete with their prices. The staff is always super friendly.

Great local store with Awesome staff and most of what you could need!I do wish they would keep with fresher produce though.My biggest complaint is their hours.WHY WOULD YOU BE CLOSED ON SUNDAY?That would be one of your busiest days,For being in a town with only 2 other places to shop which are super limited to begin with, why would you hurt your own business and not be open and there for the community you serve.That is the biggest flaw with small business in small towns. Maybe reevaluate your overhead expenses and understand how much the weekend could mean to the store and the community. People still need to eat on the Holy day.

For a small store in the middle of no where, this place was great. Had a much larger selection than I would think, pricing was very good on almost everything, cashier was actually friendly and it has all the basics most people will need. Is it Safeway? No. But is it... the dollar store? Thankfully, no. We're looking at properties in the area, and being so far out from a typical store made us worry about moving to Paulden (we're a born and raised suburbia family). This place made country living seem more reasonable.

What a great store and surprisingly good selection! The isles were very well organized and stocked. How amazing to have a grocery store in such a small community to save driving to Chino or Prescott. I grew up in Paulden and would have loved to have been able to get these grocery items locally and as a bonus, tax free on food! It was wonderful to visit and shop in such an amazing addition to this community!! Their canned fruit has more variety than my new home town Walmart. I especially loved the selection of items, specifically Grandma Sycamore's bread, which is the best bread on the shelf, as it tastes just like homemade bread!! Their spice collection is incredible! The spices are in huge containers and at a great price! Great sales and good prices on bagels. Pineapples were on sale for .99 cents! The cashier was very friendly. At the checkout is some of the yummiest chocolate I've tasted- so soft and melt in your mouth- Utah truffles. Truly a gem!

If you like to pop popcorn, they have the best brand. Also, try the Brownie Peanut Butter ice cream. A little expensive but definitely worth it!

Pleasantly surprised. $1.99 gallon chocolate milk and 0.49 cucumbers. They even had cilantro and a good selection of candy.
