They will not order my prescriptions until the day they are due. They are closed Saturday and Sunday. That puts me getting my prescription 4 days past the date I need them. This has happened multiple times. Plus they are 45 minutes from my house. I need others medications picked up too. I can only go to parker once a week. So that makes 5 of my prescriptions late. It's ridiculous! I try not to complain, but this happens way to often

Pharmacy is closed on weekends. Would have been nice to be told that when the pharmacy called yesterday to tell me it was ready. Guess some people can wait on their Rx. Oh, also, can't transfer the Rx to a different cvs because it's already been filled at this one.

There pharmacy is horrible, USE THE ONE IN QUARTZSITE!!!!!!..... I get a controlled substance and when I picked it up I didn't even think to count them till I got to the car , because of how incompetent they are it was short. Luckily when I went back in they where still on the table . Very rude ,tell you one time then when you get there tell you hours later. Just all around bad

Ugh! This pharmacy is 40 minutes away, the next closest is 105+. They won't fill my prescription for another 34 days or call CareFirst for approval. I am using CVS because of the partnership with CareFirst and can no longer pay double elsewhere. There is ALWAYS some issue of some sort! I'm on travel. Twice I tried to explain my 10+ years timeline for refills of glaucoma drops... both times they ignored me and started speaking to themselves trying to "fix it" as I was told. I stated, "Yes, I realize that, but I was speaking, twice". They could care less. I'd rather not go blind because my pressures increased without the treatment... never missed! I hope I don't run out...

I edited this review because of the follow up that was delivered by Mark and Tim.Now, I’m usually a fan of this pharmacy. I know that they have had some trouble in the past but they have always have taken care of me. I have a certain prescription that I need to pick up on a certain day of the month and I get a text when it’s ready. I arrived to pick up meds today before 5 pm, when they close. The pharmacy is closed for inventory. Wait! What?! I drive quite a way to come in to town. I even called the automated system to confirm the pharmacy hours, just to be sure. They could have put this information on their automated system outgoing announcement or message. I know they can. The person who was supposedly “in charge” was absolutely no help at all. I have to go to CVS pharmacy because of my insurance. (Aetna/CVS/Caremark) The other closest CVS is 50 miles away.When I arrived on Monday to pick up my prescription, I was greeted by the Head Pharmacist (Mark) and the Store Manager (Tim) with a very sincere apology. This goes a long way in my book.I know there are times when an employee does something that is not in line with the Managers' policy or the Store policy. Mark and Tim, as well as many staff members have always delivered excellent customer service. This time is no exception.I'm an even bigger fan, now. Thanks guys.

CVS has become worthless!!!!! Switch from Walgreens to CVS years ago but now CVS is much worse. They never answer the phone ever. They are incompetent at every level and couldn’t care less about your inconvenience. I can call any other pharmacy and speak to someone within five minutes. Last three times I’ve tried to call CVS I’m on the phone one hour, no one answers. $79 for a prescription we pay $3 for at Walmart. All done with CVS. If you can’t provide proper customer service, just get out of the business!! Just another woke joke!!!!!!!

The pharmacy is not open today. It was supposed to be. The pharmacist could not have the prescription completed Friday. When asked if they would be open today (Dec 26, 2021) he replied yes, at 10:00 a.m. mind you, this is a new prescription that was called in last THURSDAY. Friday, it was not ready. It is a 35 mile drive - one way - so there has been two unsuccessful trips to Parker. The non pharmacy clerk in the store tried to call and text both the pharmacist and the store manager after six or seven of us had waited over thirty minutes for the pharmacy to open at 10:00. He was not able to reach either person. This is not the first time we have had worse than poor service here. I am beginning to believe CVS pharmacy must be a terrible place to work. I was at the Lake Havasu City CVS pharmacy last week because Parker was closed. It’s the same terrible service there. We waited in line over 40 minutes. The people were very rude, acted like I was bothering them and they didn’t have time to answer my questions. Believe me, by the time I finally was being helped, I wasn’t there to chit chat, but I did have valid questions and was treated very poorly. In both stores, the pharmacies are definitely not there for any kind of customer service, they are unjustifiably rude, slow and not dependable. If I could give a zero rating instead of one star, I would. I do not recommend CVS, and I will be changing pharmacies.

DO NOT USE THIS CVS Pharmacy! If I could rate 0 stars, I absolutely would. My mom has been in tears over this CVS pharmacy location. The pharmacists are unprofessional & lack total compassion. If staffing is an issue, this location needs to be shut down - not getting certain medications on time is very dangerous & they do not seem to care one bit. They do not communicate when or why your medications are being refused and if they do, they are very vague and hateful, as if they are annoyed they have to work. If you do express frustration then they will do anything and everything they can to withhold YOUR medications that you have been on for years. My mom has been getting medications from CVS for years and has always been satisfied but these pharmacists have given this company a really bad look. Please, PLEASE take mine & ALL other reviews posted into consideration before choosing this pharmacy.

Absolutely terrible, any other pharmacy would be better I can't speak about the rest of the store I will say the store was clean and well stocked, I had several prescriptions called in by my doctor. They refused to fill ANY of them, they also told me over the phone my insurance was accepted. Then after driving 42 miles they told me they wouldn't fill my prescriptions, and couldn't take my insurance the people at the pharmacy were rude and not the slightest bit helpful. Honestly I'll never go to a CVS for meds ever again, wall greens, Walmart, Costco... literally anywhere els. Avoid this location

The cashier doesn't know how to print a picture.from an Android phone. You need one more cashier to help with customers. She went to check out 6 others leaving me to wait 20 minutes. When she was done with customers, she said to me be there in one minute and she goes and helps someone else with self check-out. As I was leaving, I said thanks for nothing. No sorryWhen I got home, I called CVS and it was the same cashier and asked to speak to the manager. I was on hold for 10 minutes and hung up. Terrible service there. This was an unpleasant experience once again with the cashier

This CVS is actually a nice store, unfortunately they have the WORST PHARMACY I have EVER dealt with. EVER. It may be their policies that make it impossible for them to provide the customers with the service they need. But this is not the only problem. There are ways to work with policy restrictions in favor of the customer. But the pharmacists at this location seem to have no desire to do so. This is going to be lengthy but this needs to be said. I have tried filling my Rx here every other week for the past 3 months and there has only been 1 time when there were no issues. UNBELIEVABLE!! I have given them 7 chances to make it right! No such luck. I don’t remember names so forgive me, but there seems to be 2 or 3 male pharmacists who are making things infinitely more difficult. It pains me to write this because I am not the type to complain or share my business with everyone. So please believe me when I say this has been EGREGIOUS and unacceptable service. They are in no way attempting to be helpful trying to solve any issues, saying it’s just the way it is. THAT’s BULL. Multiple times I have been questioned about why I am being prescribed my meds. It says right on the dr’s order does it not?? Why are they questioning me?? This order needs to be filled the same day, and they never bothered to inform me when they were not able to fill it in time. One time it happened on a FRIDAY. What a nightmare. So I started refilling on Mon. but still wasn’t notified of any issues. I have text alerts, why on earth would I not be notified?! This happened multiple times because they were OUT OF STOCK. Why?! This is a recurring order! This has lead to major inconvenience and added expenses for me. I’ve had go to Lake Havasu to get this filled instead. 45 min. I have driven both ways TWICE now because of their nonsense. Whether it’s their vendors “deciding which orders they will fill” on an ongoing basis, leading them to be unstocked randomly with no relief in sight, or claiming that they have to have certain Dr’s notes (my personal case file information) and other random requirements, such as needing to have multiple different Rxs filled at the same location in order for them to fill one of them. Huh?? I believe they have overstepped the boundaries of professionalism. And they seem to enjoy disappointing people indefinitely. I have never experienced anything like this elsewhere. In contrast, every female pharmacist I have dealt with has been quite the opposite. Helpful, professional, responsive to and CARING for the customers needs. To be fair, one time there was one male pharmacist I think his name was Craig, or Greg maybe? He was at least somewhat sympathetic after I came back 3 times on one occasion, trying to get the issue solved and literally crying out of frustration. I was highly distressed! He tried to sympathize, but really had his hands tied by their ridiculous policy. He knows who he is. To him I say Thank you sir! I wish I could give more stars, but for some reason there is a terrible management problem and a few bad apples who should be fired. They are ruining the CVS reputation and that location’s customer satisfaction into the ground. It’s NOT OK. At this point my Dr. refuses to deal with them anymore. And will be filing a complaint as well. I will never use their pharmacy again and it will have to be a dire emergency for me to shop for anything else there. Which is really too bad because it is a nice CVS and the regular clerks are fantastic. I just can’t not report these ongoing problems. I hope someone does something soon so that no more people will have to suffer the way I have. Thank you for your time!

The Pharmacy staff is the most in considerate I have ever dealt with. After making the elderly woman whom had been standing in line for over 2 hours cry and not filling her prescriptions dropped off 2 days earlier. He then yelled at her when she asked for her paperwork back so she could get then medication she needed elsewhere. Then when I got to the gentleman he told me my prescription had not been processed yet after 24 hours. I was polite and asked for my paperwork back so I could get filled else ware. He then loudly insulted me as I walked away. I dropped my free bottle of water I was given while waiting 2 hours in line (thanks for the effort cvs) he announced I was vandalizing and to call the police. I realize it is the busiest time of year for this small town pharmacy but the rudeness of this person requires action by CVS corporate! The employees name was Tim.

Is there was a zero option to rate this pharmacy I would. The pharmacist there is extremely rude. Like it was taking away from his time to even talk to me. 30 miles one way to drive there and went at least 3 times in two weeks to keep giving me the run around about filling my daughters insulin. Finally to figure out they don’t take out of state Medicaid. She is disabled. They never answer the phone. I won’t step foot in this store again. Except now I have to go back because they have her insurance card

Great experience! Friendly staff and in and out in less than 5 min. My Dr. was supposed to send my medication to this Pharmacy but ended up sending it to another one 3 hrs away. The pharmacy pulled up my medication, transferred and filled it in less than 5 min.

TRANSPHOBIC DENIAL OF PRESCRIPTION?I was told my transgender son's prescription for testosterone could not be filled because they were out of stock. When i asked how long it would take to order more and fill the prescription, i was told the store never receives shipment whenever they order...as such im better off trying a different pharmacy. Walmart across the street had it, so its not a national shortage. Curious to know if any men, women or other transgender individuals have problems filling testosterone or estrogen prescriotions here?

They send me a text Saturday saying my prescription is ready to pickup and the web site says they are open on Saturday but when I drive half an hour to get there, the pharmacy is closed on weekends. That is horrible service!!!!!!

I have never been treated so rude by a pharmacist in my life as I was the day I tried to get 2 prescriptions filled. Pharmacist: “Just a minute and I’ll get to you.” (About 3 minutes later) Pharmacist: “We are in the middle of inventory and it would be about 15 minutes before I can get to you and we close in 1/2 an hour so I won’t be filling these prescriptions for you.”

This pharmacy has the worse customer service I’ve ever experienced. We temporarily live in Parker and continue to see our doctor in CA. My physician electronically sent in a REFILL I had filled from last month. The pharmacist took it upon himself not to fill it because he said “I had a DIFFERENT prescription filled in CA a couple weeks ago”. My doctors office has never heard of a pharmacist doing this before. This pharmacist is not my physician (or my insurance company) who decides what should or shouldn’t be prescribed to me. I will now be transferring our business to Walmart. I would appreciate corporate to reach out to me.

If I could give a zero I would. I have been waiting in line and hear the phone ring and they don’t even bother to answer. I called today and was on hold for 25 minutes and still no answer. I needed a prescription for my son to be canceled because they are closed on Saturday. Now I have to wait all the way until Monday to get what I need. When I was pregnant they changed my quantity for my needles that go with my glucose monitor. This pharmacy needs new staff or to be shut down.

Horrible, inept pharmacy. Run, don't walk. Never, ever have we experienced such a disorganized pharmacy. Pharmacy got the order on Tues, went in Fri., Wasn't done. They said to come back at 5 and we told them we live an hr out of town and couldn't hang around all day, so he said to come back Monday. We came in on Tues and it still wasn't ready. What a joke. I also had the same issue with my meds. Tried three times total on the app to get my prescription, called them 2 times and drove an hour to talk to them. After 2 weeks I FINALLY got them. I'm happily paying $20.00 more a month for a prescription plan with Optum RX.

For a town that hosts the over 50+ crowd, one would assume that pharmacies would be prepared to accommodate. Oh, CVS looks good, has ALL of the things one would need. But the pharmacy is horrendously short-staffed in order to meet the needs of the clients coming in. 3 to 5 day waiting time for a prescription is not only ridiculous but almost Criminal. Travelers beware, get your prescriptions renewed or filled in another town. I will be contacting corporate!

Best Pharmacy I've ever delt with. Everyone is nice and they work super hard especially because they are short staffed. I never have to wait long and they do there best to make sure they help the best they can.I see a lot of bad reviews on here of and it makes me sad. I've been to A lot of Pharmacys in many different states and trust me people CVS in Parker is Amazing.

Stopped at this CVS on the way from Phoenix to Lake Havasu. Staff was extremely friendly and was helped by Tim. Thanks to Tim we were able to find all the items we needed for our little road trip to Havasu. Will definitely stop here in the future!

Feel very sorry for the employees, they have 17 people in line with the phone ringing off the hook and ONE pharmacist working! Then they got a girl to at least help at the register so the pharmacist could do his work but every month the same long lines! Had to have our doctor call in prescriptions and could never get anyone to answer the phone, probably because there was only two people there and nobody to answer the phone-that was after we had the prescriptions efaxed to them! Will definitely be trying Lake Havasu Walgreen’s next winter.
