What an awesome little stop. The owner is the sweetest person in the world and gives you a guided tour and explanation of everything she has going on there. Both the jail and the museum are awesome to see and person. The tortoises that she has names for are unbelievably cute and you can see how happy they are to be living there. Truly enjoyed stopping buy here and getting to hangout with the owner and her pets.

Had family in town and had to take them to Oatman, AZ. It is a wonderful attraction in Mohave County AZ. It is an old mining town that has be restored to show current generations what our ancestors went through in their time. One fun thing about Oatman is the burros that follow you all over town. They are wild animals that have decided that they like the area and the attention for the visitors. A must see if visiting northwestern AZ.

I'd imagine this place was amazing at some point. But now it feels more like a tourist trap. Lots of little stores with cheap souvenirs. And the several people that we spoke to (that worked/lived there) were very unwelcoming, and some were down right rude. We were there in the middle of the week and it was still pretty crowded.I will say the mine and the little jail house were pretty cool.

Great little tourist spot. The stores are similar but have their own uniqueness. Feeding the donkeys and the street gun fights are fun. Shootouts at 1330 and 1530 daily!

Cute tiny museum with a teeny bit of information. There is a guard tortoise to see and some newspaper articles to check out. All free.

The burrows are sooo friendly and so are all the people! Amazing shops and things to see. They put on a gun show at noon and at 2:15. Really cool place to go to if you're in the area or hell even not in the area. I drove from North Las Vegas. It was a nice drive and a beautiful day out today.

If your in town its worth the few minutes checking out the jail.Throw friends and/or family in the jail. It makes for some fun photos.There is a brief history of the jail and some family stuff.Dont forget to sign the book.

Small, but packed with cool little details and items. Gift store had the best hoodies in town (had to buy one for my son on what turned out to be a fairly cold day). It was only $1 per person to enter the jail area, and the shop worker was very nice and gave us a detailed speech on the history of the jail and the town.

They had such a cool collection of antiques. Old bottles and kitchen supplies. They also had a great selection of old books for adults and children. The lady that worked there was so nice. I bought two books for my little girl and she ended up giving me two more for free! we did not go in the back, which is the museum. We just didn't have the time. It was donation only. If we make it back there we will definitely check it out.
