Fun town to visit. Driving the old route 66 through desert to and from is great as well. The burros are fun and you can feed them. The restaurant in the old hotel was busy but quick once we got seated. Great pulled pork sandwiches. Be prepared to walk around the town to see everything but it's not very big, just a few blocks. Lots of shops and tourist stuff as well as public restrooms easily accessible at the south end of town above the parking area.

Cute tourist area! Definitely visit before the summer heat hits but there's a lot to do and see. Good place to buy gifts and see wild donkeys. Parking could be a little tricky but you should be able to find open space if you're willing to walk a bit... just wear comfy shoes!

I don't even know where to start... we got there right when someone was pulling out to leave right in the center of main street. Our parking spot was the best so there was not a lot of walking. So much history to learn and look at. The volunteer fireman who runs the "jail" was amazing. Just clicked with him. The burros are a huge attraction. You can buy food to feed them but be ready for them to follow you. We also caught the live attraction of the gun fight. Also check out the restaurant/ bar. I've never seen so many bills!! It was just a great experience. As we left, we found more and more burros out along the highway so please pay attention cause you will find cars pulled over and burros in the road.

Oatman is an amazing town complete with donkeys and staged gun fights. Get there via Route 66 and Sidewinder Rd and it will be a memorable treat. Drive carefully on Sidewinder and once you get there buy some alfalfa cubes from the shops to feed the donkeys and spend a very interesting day in a small western town. See Clark Cable’s honeymoon suite, have lunch in a great local restaurant and pick up some memorabilia.

Great place on historic Route 66. Called a ghost town. Donkeys/mules walk freely. Most are friendly, but guard your blue candy bags as these guys will grab them right out of your hand. Great place to take kids. They put on a gunfight at noon and 1:30 daily, depending on the weather. If you are in the area, you've got to go! No admission fees.

I love driving, so getting out there was part of the adventure. My mother, 10 year old twins, and myself had a blast feeding the donkeys and walking around. It was easy to stay for 3 hours. I didn't want to miss anything on the drive in so it took about an hour to get to Oatman once we got on RT 66.The shops were your typical tourist stuff. They have a special cancelation stamp at the post office. There are public restrooms.

Such a fun place for the whole family. Great family fun restaurant, many donkeys that just roam around, very friendly. They also do a shoot out show for the public twice a day. If you want to feel like you’re back in history, visit this place. Beautiful drive as well. Lots of fun candy shops for the kiddos.

It's in the middle of nowhere, or so it feels. It feels authentic to the period, somewhat. The stores have interesting items, and the employees are nice. There are many burros walking around. You can buy some feed for them.

A fun little place to visit, not to bad for being in the middle of no where. The Burrows are a good time, just be aware… we accidentally caught an explicit Burrow show when we were there 😂Not a lot of variety in the stores but if you are in the area and looking for a cute little stop, it’s a decent one!The gun show is NOT worth waiting for though, and be smarter than us and don’t go the day after thanksgiving. Also, beware that burrows will eat anything out of a bag, so protect your candy!

Our visit to Oatman, AZ, was an absolute delight and far exceeded our expectations. This charming town captivates with its authentic Western vibe, from the saloons and restaurants that transport you back in time to the eclectic mix of gift shops, antique stores, and boutiques offering unique finds. The warmth and friendliness of the locals added to the welcoming atmosphere, making us feel right at home. And of course, the town's famous wild donkeys wandering the streets were the cherry on top, adding a unique and memorable twist to our experience. Oatman offers a perfect blend of history, hospitality, and fun. A must-visit for anyone looking to immerse themselves in the true spirit of the West!

I love coming here. The main restaurant and all the stores make this place so unique. Wooden sidewalks and shops that make you feel like you're back in the early 1900s. They have amazing food and a great bar with plenty to choose from. Every weekend, visitors can view a gunfight at 12 noon and 1 pmWhich is always fun to watch. You get all types of adventurers coming thru this town.. It's always fun. Plus you can't forget the famous DONKEYS . They seem to be everywhere, and you can always buy alfalfa pellets to feed them whenever they come right into town. Everyone is friendly, and I would highly recommend stopping by this special little town to visit and get a bite to eat or drink. It's cold during the winter and hot during the summer to dress accordingly. They have a nice ice cream shop with good popcorn and plenty of stores that sell Amazing Beef Jerky like at the Nut Company. They are a must if you visit Oatman. They have a very nice candy store as well with plenty to choose from. There are lots of nostalgic things in this little town. A leather shop that sells great stuff and plenty of stores that sell cool clothes & t T-shirts.There are plenty of donkey souvenirs. There are tons of Nick nacks to choose from and toys and even a small laser shooting gallery. Nice jewelry and stones to choose from. Silver and gold ✨️ and amazing yard decorations of every kind with windmills that are very unique. Even a little shop that sells amazing natural honey from orange blossoms to dessert flowers. So next time you're in the area, you MUST stop by and see this beautiful treasure of a town.

Oatman didn't disappoint! Great little stop on our day trip traveling from Kingman, AZ to Mesquite, NV. The road coming up from the East side is winding and slow going. Use caution if towing or traveling in a motorhome. Road is narrow, and many blind corners. Amazing views! If coming up from the east, drive all the way through town for parking on the left. Motorhomes and trailers can fit in this parking lot. Enjoy!

Friendly people, a number of tourist shops, wasn’t much available/open for lunch tho. Love the burrows roaming. You can buy feed, altho they get lots. You can pet them but remember they are “wild”. Was happy to hear that a vet checks on them regularly. I a point of visiting Oatman, glad I did.
