I scream. So I get up to the checkout and proceed to scan the items. Same as we all do now. When the final price comes up it's no where near what it should be. I have the damn app, but apparently digital coupons is a whole other thingy. Well my Safeway training (because I feel like an employee now) must be lacking or I didn't get the memo. The stand-around attendant proceeded to ask if she should put some items back (instead of giving me the discount??) I told her she could put them all back. Freaking ridiculous. How hard is it to put the correct price on the product and have cashiers so I don't have to do work in your establishment? Boo Safeway! And not the good Halloween kind either. When/where do I pick up my check??

I placed an order online for my brother to pick up for my mom and the gave him this strawberries ! Roten strawberries, my mom is recovering from cancer what’s wrong with the staff ? mold is toxic this is unacceptable

The weekly specials are fairly good. Only two regular registers aside of the four self service ones were open. Quite a few people waiting to pay. I only waited about five minutes to finally pay for my two items.

The produce and meats are the best here. The staff is friendly kind and very helpful. With the exception of Tere who works at customer service. Which is ironic because it is what I feel she does all but that. Interrogate and accuse. No kind words. No empathy have I heard from this woman. My last 3 interactions were confrontational and negative. I reminded her of them. The phrases and language she has used has offended me. If this wasn't a recurring situation with her I would have assumed it was an off day. It happens. The rest of the store and staff is great other than the one gloomy cloud that keeps me from giving it 5 stars. **Update... As usual when I have shopped at this Safeway everyone is so polite and kind I really try to avoid it because of the Tere at customer service. Try to go at night or to other locations because she really is a bad apple in an otherwise wonderful bunch. So RUDE!**Update... It's been rare over the last few years that I enter this location. I do pick up or grab and go. Don't quite remember their branding. Works fine for the personal shoppers that put together my order have been improving

Curbside ordering is super convenient on the app, but the the readiness is horrendous. Don't plan on it being ready at the reserved time. I called to notify I was there and was waiting in the parking, but still waited over an hr. Felt bad for the employees because their seemed to me a few unhappy customers. They need to hire more people!

I placed a last minute order for a birthday cake and was abundantly pleased with what was delivered to me. Luz, the talented baker who made my cake, created such a beautiful piece of art that I couldnt help but do a photoshoot with it! It was equally delicious, as well! It was a four layer tall barbie cake with an actual Barbie (not the half pick style Barbie) and she added fresh strawberries to the jam mix, which made it extra sweet and refreshing. Would have costed me a couple hundred dollars anywhere else!

I've had problems with receiving credit for some of my digital coupons. I didn't notice until I got home and because the digital coupon had failed to show up on my account and I didn't have a picture of the coupon, they refused a refund. Another time, I backed up the digital coupons with paper ones and still didn't get the discount and was told I would have to wait in line to get a refund.....I had to ask the clerk for my coupons back. Thankfully a manager heard me discussing the situation with another person in line, she took us both to a register and refunded us. Usually no courtesy clerks to bag your $250 worth of groceries. When I asked if we could get one, was told they had to check the bathrooms and gather carts....Overall, insufficient customer service.

Sonoran trash have ruined this store like everywhere else in nogales, but the employees do a great job keeping it clean and well stocked. Brand new shopping carts are a huge plus. Late at night is the best time to go, once all south of the border dirt farmers are gone.

Very clean, good selection of fruits and vegetables, meat and dairy. Prices were in line with competitors. Had some trouble with the self checkout. Needed assistance twice then finally went to another console, otherwise I would have given it 5 stars.

They need to get better at hiring people that actually are bilingual, I know the excuse is "Mexico is right there" but it's not Mexico and there are people in this town that don't speak Spanish, I understand the need for inclusion but it has to go both ways because it becomes a problem when you can't order your deli because the person at the deli section doesn't speak English, JUST Spanish. I don't have a problem with people speaking Spanish at all but I wish they catered to everyone not just a group of people.

Freshest produce and the best meats. Helpful staff at any time during your visit. Try the deli instead of Subway. Update: less staff more automatic checkouts. The products are good but the buying experience is no better than anywhere else. Shop for yourself, help yourself and charge yourself on a really cramped machine. What a shame. Three staff members working the Deli 2/19/23 being extremely rude and unprofessional to each other in the afternoon. Bad experience all the way around.

I LOVE the bakery department at this Safeway. They are professional, customer service friendly and serve you with a smile.Let me tell you the scenario that warrants 5 stars. I called on Sunday to place an order for pick up on Monday at 3:30pm. My hubby got there and it wasn't ready. The lady who took my order had quit the next morning. My order was never passed on.The staff graciously picked up the pace and made our cake for us while he waited. Even called back into the bakery from home the cake decorator. Wow! Simply amazing. Thank you!

After going to Walmart next door and seeing lines that stretched almost half of the store. Just walked out. Lo and behold you go Safeway and it's wide open lots of cashier's and plenty cash registers were open. Cashier's are friendly and cheerful.Update went to a safe way in Tucson and the girl that was behind the counter told us that she was to busy filling prescriptions to give us a flu shot. I could not see how many prescriptions she had. But do know that it doesn't take long to give a flu shot!

Nogales Safeway is an excellent place to shop. Items are fresh, displayed nicely, and staff is helpful and friendly. Be sure to use their digital app to get their lowest prices.

Never any consistency. Fried chicken is available whenever they want. Sometimes 8 in the morning, sometimes 1030. No set time. And the chicken in the deli section seems to have died of old age. Its like jerky. When its fresh, its delicious. But you never know when that is since they make it whenever they feel like getting around to it.

The receiver was really rude. I had to use the restroom and the lady told me to leave and I told her one of the employees told me i could use it. She just started yelling at me for no reason. I didn't want to argue with her so I left without buying my groceries. Never going In to that Safeway again they just lost my business even tho it doesn't matter to Safeway. Just hope this comment would help a person that's shopping at that store and needs to use the restroom. ( BEWARE)

The employees at the Nogales Safeway are friendly and helpful. The quality of goods in the produce, meat and floral departments is much, much better than the Nogales Walmart.The checkout time at Safeway is far quicker than Walmart.The only drawbacks, when comparing to the Nogales Walmart, are the higher prices on some items and some items on the shelf at Safeway are expired. The shopper has to look at expiration dates.The Nogales Safeway is a good place for groceries.

Safeway has an extensive organic product selection. Our nutrition is extremely important to us, specially for our 2 year old. ❤ this place and prices are also great. We are thankful for their great product variety.

Always fresh selection of produce. Love the Monopoly game time too as there’s greatest opportunity for savings. Wish Safeway would do more like that. My go-to place for items not sold in other stores like gluten free products and vegan products!

Well stocked for a small store, just wanted to give recognition to a staff member Lupita 👍who recognized I wasn't from around this area, having a bit of trouble at the self check out, the set up is strangely different from my hometown. I freaking have respect and appreciation for associates who go out of their way to, recognize, assist, and be available to customers when needed. I'm a state to state truck driver and I visit many many places in a week. It's very hard to find quality customer service in many establishments who standout like Lupita did. She not only helped me but others around me at self check out. She's a keeper and your store is blessed to have such a great associate. I got her name before I left, she seemed puzzled for why I asked, Please let her know Safeway that I gave her a shout out for being outstanding. I love giving reviews for excellent customer service.
