Looking for an amazing pet store? Look no further than The Pet Shop. Best part is, they are locally owned and operated. Every time I visit, for my reptile needs, I am greeted by a friendly staff member who goes above and beyond. The owner is amazing! She is so knowledgeable and gives great advice anytime I ask for it. I am a teacher, (who gets a teachers discount) and have a few pets in my library. The owner let me come in and interview her about the animals and sharing interesting facts about them. I am so impressed with this store and everyone involved in making The Pet Shop a success. Thank you for being part of the neighborhood.

This is honestly the nicest and cleanest pet shop I have ever stepped foot it. The variety of things and how healthy everything looked was amazing, with lots of animals on display for educational purposes as well. The stuff is super friendly and more than willing to help with any questions you have. The owner is extremely knowledgeable and awesome to talk too with the friendliest door greeters, Lilly (Golden Retriever) and Gia (Frenchy) happy to meet everyone that walks in the door. I give this place a 10/10

The employees are kind and knowledgeable. I purchased a dwarf hamster and she is the cutest! The store has all your pets needs. I saw the owner and her two dogs and they're the friendliest.

Great place! Good prices! And very friendly, helpful staff! I took my daughter here to buy a pet rat! They helped us with everything we needed and what we needed to know. They answered all my questions and were patient with my daughter while she decided what she wanted. I'm definitely going back!

Pretty great pet store. Good selection for reptiles and exotic pets, and they have a decent if somewhat limited dog/cat food and supply inventory.Got some isopods and springtails here for my terrarium too which is nice.

I loved the place, although a strong smell greets you as you walk in it is not bad in my opinion. The people we saw were nice, and the animals all seemed very healthy and well taken care of. I loved trying to find chameleons and small geckos, and I would recommend to any pet lover or someone looking for a fish, lizard, bunny, rat, or mouse! And others you can see if you visit. Great place!

Super chill people. Clean store and an awesome collection of pet supplies, very organized as well. Also you get a good show of the Chinese buffet cooks contemplating stealing the dogs 😂 don’t believe me, thats literally what almost happened last time I was there. 10/10 will be back.

Mike really cares about his fish and the animals. He goes out of his way to make sure that the pH in the water and everything is on point. He is also very knowledgeable regarding what fish are compatible and how many of each to have. I am so glad that I found this pet shop. I will always talk to Mike about my tanks 😊

I've shopped here over the years for various pets and they've always been well cared for. I've recently gotten into aquascaping and keeping freshwater fish and Myke is SO knowledgeable! Love that they use full tap as well!!

Fantastic place for fish! I won’t purchase my fish anywhere else now that I have found The Pet Shop…they truly care and take pheycare of the animals for sale. I am so happy with my purchase, and the fisherman super healthy.

Helpful, knowledgeable staff are always willing to answer questions. Fish tanks are pristine, and healthy. All of the fish I bought here have grown bigger, and stayed healthier than any Petsmart/Petco fish.

Went down to the pet shop today in Mesa Arizona and my wife tried to get a refund on a rat without knowing the policy. And the owner of the store took the rat knowing it was a no refund policy and would not give it back to my wife. So that right there is a refund if you're going to take it back and not give it to her the product or the money back. I believe when you take something without exchanging money or other items that is considered theft. All the owner had to do was say it was a no refund policy and let my wife go on her way with the rat instead she refused to give the rat back and also did not give any money back so we lost a rat and $6 to the owner of pets shop

The owner of the store is a HORRIBLE person. The worker guys are cool and i've never had a problem before with the guys... Vanessa Costanzo is RUDE and should not be an owner of a store! First of all, I bought 2 small rats and 2 medium rats yesterday. My snake did not eat 1 of the rats. I did not know they were NOT REFUNDABLE and the owner did NOT communicate with me that I was not getting my money back at first. She took the rat from me and left me there with no understanding. I was super frustrated and she threatened to ban me from the store over a $6 rat! Ridiculous... If I wasn't going to get my money back I asked for the rat back and she told me NO! I paid for the rat, I can't have it back AND I wasn't getting my money back. The owner STEALS money from YOU! SO WATCH OUT! Be careful what you buy there. And don't return things that aren't refundable, she will TAKE ANYTHING FROM YOU and expect you to be ok with her STEALING YOUR OWN MONEY!

SO MANY OPTIONS. Kind of smelled but I eventually got used to it after a while being there. I went to this store just to look and I ended up spending 1.5 hours there just looking at all the store had to offer. Lots of fish, bugs, lizards, bunnies, birds, and aquarium equipment. They also had lots of things for salt water aquariums such as a coral reef starter which I had never seen before!

They are the the only aquarium store in the valley that has CPDs in stock. Or they did when I went like a month ago (I grabbed like 30 total bc I was redoing my aquarium and ditched all the WCMM/ Sparkling Gouramis). Anyway the fish are all doing fantastic but they were the most expensive CPDs I've ever seen, like $13/fish. Idk what happened but when I went back the next day I was legit ignored by the same woman who helped me get the fish a day prior. I actually left without the additional nerites I went back for bc I couldn't get anyone to help me and I just walked out. Disappointed.

I love this pet shop! The owner is very nice and helpful, she's friendly and almost always brings her sweet dogs!I really like that their employees are helpful, friendly, knowledgable, and efficient. I feel comfortable going here to get food for my geckos, as well, they don't run out of crickets. The store is well stocked and clean, no odors and the cages of each animal, snakes, lizards, geckos are very well taken care of and they're very clean. Huge plus in my opinion. If you want to find a place to help care for your pets, definitely check this shop out!!

This is my Go-to location for all things fish, and yet they have more than just that. Great shop with amazing owners and quality fish. Ive yet to lose any fish from here or have issues with parasites or diseases, and yet a few of the same breed from "other pet stores" perish or bring problems to my tanks. Just recently added discus from here to my 55 and couldn't be happier. Swing by, kill a half hour just looking at their selection of fish/corals And reptiles/etc, it's worth it

I have been shopping at the Pet Shop since they opened 10 years ago. The staff is amazingly knowledgeable, kind, and raises very healthy animals. We've adopted two reptiles in the past and now have a planted fish tank entirely supported by The Pet Shop.

This is a nice, localized pet store with quite a good selection of animals. This is typically my go-to place for things pet-related that I usually can't find elsewhere. Although they have a few furry/scaled pets, their strongest area I feel is aquatics. They're more or less that same price as any Petco/Petsmart/etc, the difference being that I've never received an animal/plant from here that has brought with them any kind of hitch-hiking snails, parasites, or diseases (knock on wood), all of which I have encountered either from ordering online or buying from larger, more well-known chain stores.There have even been a few times I've gone in and seen really unique animals I'd never seen before in the pet trade (even a few reef animals that made me want to start cycling a saltwater aquarium solely for those specifically!) Also available are things like feeders, corals, RO water refills, and tanks supplies like dragonstone, sand/substrate, and driftwood.Oh, and forgot to mention...the owner and employees are all very amiable and knowledgeable about the trade and the items available.Highly recommend.
