We have tried other places in Mesa, but our chickens especially enjoy the Super egg feed from premeir. Also they have a good variety and other accessories for all your chicken needs. They even take roosters off your hands if they have room, which is nice when one ends up with too many roosters. Service is always friendly.

Thought I try and buy baby chicks from a new place… they all had coccidiosis and I’m not sure if they were being treated for it. I diagnosed mine a day after and started treatment as soon as possible but she did not make it. It took a lot if time and care to treat her and see her get better and then bad again ): heartbreaking

Caution: These people may sell you an expensive bag of bugs!!! My boyfriend and I bought a bag of mazuri chinchilla food here but when we opened it at home we discovered that it was filled with hundreds and hundreds of tiny bugs that had eaten holes in the pellets. Google would not let me share the video of them crawling around the bag but you can see them on the sides of the bag and the holes in the pellets from my screenshot. This doesn’t do it justice as there were actually hundreds of them. My boyfriend and I were appalled so he double bagged it in some trash bags and immediately drove it back to the pet store. While unloading, the bag ripped setting hundreds of bugs loose in my boyfriend’s car. He tossed it in an extra bin he had in the trunk and took it inside only for the cashier, Sophia, who had rung us out just moments before to tell him that she didn’t remember him and couldn’t give him a refund without a receipt (which he conveniently lost). He shows her his bank statement showing a payment to premier feed and pet at which she begins screaming at the top of her lungs at him. Yelling at him that “WE CANNOT TAKE THAT BACK! THERE IS NOTHING WE CAN DO FOR YOU!” My boyfriend quickly realized that her emotions were out of control so he asked for a manager who was calmer but would still not give a refund. Be careful shopping here! Tractor Supply might be a bit further but they are a reliable company that sells everything Premier Pet sells and for a cheaper price plus better customer service!

Great place, service was awesome, owner came over to talk to me. Told me everything about the store. And about the resident cat. Store was very clean, everyone was friendly and they held a bag of food for me to pick up as it was the last bag.

Very nice people who work there. My chickens seem to like their food , I've never tried it so I can't vouch for it being premier to human standards. I also bought chicks there once. One turned out to be a rooster. We call him Rudy the rooster Giuliani.

Wonderful feed and pet supply store!!! Owners understand pets and their needs. Plus if they don't have it, they'll get it!!! Highly recommend them!!! A must see for all pet needs! I won't go anywhere else again! They even special order my cat food!!! Took my babies in today!

I went here with my sister a few months ago and loved the place. The staff is very friendly and kind. This is what customer service should be in my eyes, EVERYWHERE! Came in for the first time today and I will definitely be coming back! Employees are very kind and helpful. The prices are way more reasonable than other pet supply stores I have been to. Plus, they have the cutest and sweetest little shop cat that will gladly give you a tour. ☺️

Very convenient location for anyone in need of high-quality alfalfa hay bales. I used to buy from tractor supply & grew tired of paying-up for old, low-quality alfalfa that gets shipped in from only god knows where... Premier Feed always has fresh-cut, locally sourced bales of the highest quality. I've been involved w/ beef cattle for most of my life & know good alfalfa when i see it. Paul @ Premier Feed always helps me load-up and he usually has my bales waiting on the forklift before i get my truck pulled around back . Nothing beats fast & friendly service - thank you Paul

I buy my dog food from here even after I moved to the west side of town because they have the best selection of Limited ingredient food for dogs prone to weird protein allergies. I’ve always had good experiences with staff and most dog food brands are the 12th bag is free which you don’t see happening at bigger companies. I love supporting small businesses this one is a fave of mine.
