I would 100% recommend this place to anyone. amazing customer service even with all the questions I had. I met them at the Tucson reptile show. I live about 5 hr away from this location and decided to make this trip today and it was amazing. The owner is an awesome person all there staff is very knowledgeable and they have amazing prices on there animals and accessories I will definitely be back. Ps I got 2 leopard geckos.

I love this place the staff is very friendly willing to help u with anything u want to see or know the owner of the shop came out and helped us when the shop got a little more busy definitely have a awesome selection of reptiles . The store Manger is awesome he whent above to show us some cool reptiles all so the same day definitely gave us alot of ideas from A to Z set up cages to uva/ uvb I picked up a red ackie monitor very good prices thank u for all the help u guys are awesome.

The best place for reptile care 100%. I called 15 reptile stores before I bought my snake ( from predator reptile ) and all of them tried to upsell me on useless items but, predator gave me just what I needed and I did my research and the other places were giving me all the wrong information. Predators staff is amazing! Everytime I have a question or concern they are always on top of it and want to help. They have great knowledge and even better selections of animals, I got a Californian King Snake and she is the best. They are super cool with holding the animals and walking you through the process of helping. They also have very fair prices and don’t over price or inflate there prices. 10/10

Really cool shop with a wide selection of plants, feeders, exotic animals and everything needed for them . The staff were all helpful and nice too! I went in to purchase a little friend and got great information about different products and food for him/her also. I appreciate the help and will certainly make the drive to visit again :)

Very knowledgeable people. Helped me choose all the right things needed to get started. Talked out the care of the snake we got. Even offered to help teach my son (8) the proper handling skills of a snake. They were great with him.Every staff member is extremely friendly and helpful. It's a fun place because you can really tell the whole staff is constantly curious and excited about every animal in the store, and they're willing to share that knowledge without talking down to you.

I go to this place EVERY Wednesday, I feed my snakes live rats and mice. I absolutely love it here, all the staff know and talk to me. I’ve gotten great advice, I’ve purchased two snakes here. I love predators, even if you aren’t interested in an animal it’s still a cool place to check out!

I just bought a baby Brazilian Rainbow Boa and went in to get some supplies and ask a few questions. I was lucky enough to run into a staff member with a lot of experience with the breed and he gave me a ton of valuable information on care and keeping. This place was WICKED cool! If first impressions were truly everything, this place wins top prize! I didn't know I wanted a reptile until I walked into this joint. I wanted to note, I was greeted by at least three staff, all of which were so happy to assist me with any questions I had! The space also smelled super fresh was was kept quite clean. The staff here were super knowledgeable and friendly. They have a really great assortment and selection of animals including all sorts of snakes, tarantulas, frogs, chameleons and more! Definitely worth checking this place out.

This place is one of my favorite stores ever! I go here for my crickets for my gecko. They have everything you could want. They have live bugs for all your reptile needs. They also have a plethora of frozen foods for your snakeys. They carry axolotls, lizards, frogs, snakes, ferrets, hedgehogs, short tailed opossums, rabbits, isopods, springtails, spiders, scorpions, fish, & turtles. The workers are all very knowledgeable and helpful. The atmosphere is very laid back and relaxed. It's a nice place to go even just to browse. I always recommend this store to anyone. Pictures are of their cute rough green snakes that they had available last week.

We have been patrons of Predators for years now! Recently I've gotten into keeping arachnids. Predators always has a varied collection to choose from. All my spoods have been super healthy from this shop and are thriving. I also exclusively purchase my feeders here. They tend to last longer than other exotics shops I've bought from. They also sell enclosures here for REALLY fair prices offering more than just Exo Terra. I love this exotics shop and their staff are friendly and knowledgeable. After shopping many exotics locations in the valley Predators is the best and definitely my go to shop for any live animal.

Went in yesterday to get a complete set up for a rough green snake 🐍 that I’ve been eyeing to complete my reptile fantasy, and I felt it very necessary to leave an outstanding review specifically for Maddi! Pretty much from the moment I walked in there I was greeted and asked if I could be helped. Her knowledge, friendliness, and professionalism is next to none!! it was excellent an exceptional! I was very pleased. Very satisfied new customer. She was very knowledgeable, friendly and polite. She gave me a lot of great ideas annd suggestions and facts about reptiles and everything needed to set up a habitat. I explained to her my vision and what I was trying to do and what I was looking for and she hit it out of the park! She made sure all of my needs were met, and questions were answered. Definitely the kind of employee I would want working for me. I also want to mention that towards the end employee Zach was also just as nice, friendly, & polite and helped me carry all of my new set up merchandise out to my truck! Two thumbs up guys 👍🏻👍🏻

Loooove to go here to browse and get materials for my ball python and tarantula collection!Only wish their prices on jumping spiders were cheaper. I'd absolutely buy a few from them!Still a really cool place to get enclosures and stuff to fill them with.Also love the variety of creatures they have available. Great resource for crickets and fruit fly feeders too!

Edit: Since posting this review Christian has banned me from the store and apparently is making vague threats about “dirty cop friends”. I thought this review was very mild and I could have said a lot more without spilling over into the realm of slander. Here is a little background:I’m Nate (duh). You probably know me as the dude with the long hair that worked in the feeder room. I worked at Predators for just a few weeks short of five years. Over that time Christian had promised me bonuses, raises, promotions and changes with how things are handled. Almost always nothing came to fruition unless he was backed into a corner. I dealt with new people coming in, having less responsibility and making more money than me. Predators does not offer their employees PTO/vacation time and only recently have began issuing sick time. In the almost five years I worked at Predators I never got a paid day off unless I was sick or injured. If I wanted time off to go on a trip or see my family or anything at all I would have to save up money to offset the time I would be losing at work. He constantly complains about how expensive things are, and how he has to dip into his savings to take his kid out for expensive dinners. The Predators retail location has to carry all of his bad investments like Tyranostorus and the warehouse, which generate nothing. I don’t know the numbers but with payroll included I can’t imagine they don’t cost him money at the end of the year.His ex-wife Nicole has failed every step of the way as the new manager. If you shop at the store, how many cashiers have you seen come and go in the last 12 months? They’ve all either been fired, or quit, because of Nicole. Nicole has no qualifications other than having a child with a man that owns a reptile store. She’s rude to customers (look through the reviews). She had extremely bad information regarding animal husbandry. She lied constantly, even about things that don’t matter. She would put the blame for things she did on employees. She would put the blame on the very small handful of employees that actually had a modicum of respect for her.I’m just really disappointed overall with how Christian handled my initial review, especially considering he’s the one who fired me on a Sunday morning with no real warning or reason provided.There is no insurance. No performance reviews. If you want more than what you have you have to ask for it and hope for the best. And if he agrees you have to stay on top of it because he will “forget” about that very quickly and then remind you that you should get it in writing.Now with your regularly scheduled review:The staff are not treated particularly well. Compensation is low, very basic and common benefits are literally nonexistent and treating the staff with respect is a foreign concept. People’s desire to work at a reptile store is exploited is the grossest ways and if an inch is given a mile is taken. Lots of broken promises, lots of outright lies.Surely you’ve noticed as a customer that the store seems different in the last 12 months. The new direction the store has been headed in is not a great one. It’s not customer focused. It’s not focused on the great staff, who are the reason people came to Predators in the first place (it certainly isn’t the pricing). It’s focused on reducing costs of operating the store and the path is being paved with everything that had previously made Predators great.

This place is a reptile paradise... and much more!You’ll be so fascinated, that you’ll never want to leave. The variety in this store is breathtaking, and the staff is so knowledgeable about all of the different species. We were lucky enough to meet the owner, Christian, this evening and he is so friendly and well informed.Fun fact: this business takes health and safety so seriously, that the pets are actually quarantined in a separate facility for many months before they’re available for purchase.

To make a long story long, I love Predators Reptile Center & the entire crew in there. You can tell that everyone and everything is taken care of there, that says a lot about all of them.I have worked at 1 reptile expo for Predators, purchased 3 snakes from them & have nothing but great feeders everytime I get fresh kills. No mites, healthy looking feeders all the time.One of my snakes passed away that I bought from them they replaced it with a very similar snake! I was really surprised that I was blessed with such an opportunity to pick out what I wanted but I stuck with another Honduran. But on my way out of the door I spotted a lavender kingsnake... he is home with us now as well!Good people man!Best shop in AZ!Mesa wins again!

I totally love this store. Me and my boyfriend come all of the time to look at awesome reptiles and get supplies. All of the staff are super knowledgeable and friendly. Very interactive, with permission you can hold most of the reptiles and get to know them a little better. I recommend going in to take a closer look ;)

I highly recommend this shop especially in the area because I promise you nothing but healthy thriving animals. If animal needs medical attention it will absolutely be a priority at predator to get any sick animal the help they need. Unlike Desert Reptile Center where Blue a very well known Iguana who needed pain medication or a leg amputated to survive and Vader a black throat monitor also got Niether animal received the medical treatment needed so they passed a Sy because the owner wouldn’t pay for it. Also I guarantee if an employee threatened to cut a sweet ball python into chunksI double they would still work at Predator. DRC employs a douche canoe Nate who threatened to cut Axelle a sweet ball python I bought back and gave him for free thinking would get a good home but nope he threatened to chop her and yes I have messenger receipt showing he said. I sent a couple people over there that were going to buy from DRC and best decision both happier then there are word for with there experience at predator. My favorite reptile and reptile supply shop in the US of A by a WIDE margin. The owner and employee partners are so passionate about these misunderstood beautiful creatures and it shows. I've never asked or overheard anyone ask a question that they weren't able to answer knowledgeably and comprehensively. Just an incredibly passionate, smart and most importantly kind bunch of people. Highly recommend for all of your reptile and exotic pet needs!
