GROOMING DEPT. I had Petsmart groom my dogs for 8+ years. I had an 8 am. appointment today, I was running late 10 min, tried to call, and had no answer. I got there 8 min late. They refused to take my dog since I was late. They claimed they had a late policy. There is no late policy on the website or in the store. They claim they can refuse me if they choose. They obviously stack the appts. When I went back in to talk to the groomer, she was already clipping another dog. Were they just going to leave my dog in a crate till the other dog was finished anyway?The Petco - Signal Butte, AZ store has lost my business!

Recently went to Petsmart to purchase to rubber lip pleckos for my 2 55 gallon fish tanks. Within three days I noticed all of my fish, lethargic sitting at the bottom of the tank. The next day I noticed one of the pleckos had passed away with white spots all over his body. Within a few days after that, I’ve had 35 Fish die from parasites that both of my tanks got from Petsmart fish. I’ve had my aquariums for almost 2 years. I’ve had the same fish forever. My tanks are kept meticulously clean. My husband and I have tried everything to get rid of this parasite as of now I have four fish left in one of my tank and five at in the other.For us fish hobbyists we know how expensive this can be we’ve had to throw away all of our plants due to daily water changes and medication. We’re still not rid of the parasites they have decimated both of our tanks.

Been coming here for 2 years with my dogs, every 3 months. They've done a great job cutting the hair - they consistently take 1-2 hours longer than proposed.Today I had a late pick up with a kiddo from school and I was going to be 15 minutes late to drop off the dogs - I had my dogs in the truck. I called ahead of me and let them know I am running late. I was told at 3:12 that they were unable to take me. I asked to speak to the grooming department, wherein I was transfered. I arrived at 3:17 in the parking lot and was told by the grooming department that they were unable to take me. I had 2 larges dogs to drop off that would have taken the remainder of the day, but was told that there was nothing they could do.I understand if they have a 15 minute policy - that's in place so the groomers are not taken advantage of. I have been a loyal customer for 2 years to this location, never once have I been late (even though they repeatedly take 1-3 hours more time then estimated) tipped the groomers, and spoken highly of them - this was an example of an unwillingness to provide excellent customer service.I would encourage customer service training

So tired of the way the manager Kristy and employee Hayley treat my family and I. They always have an attitude towards us. I brought in a fish with swim bladder and she asked Jess the manager (whom both don't like me/us for whatever reason when I've never done anything to them because we have been there a lot before) told me I couldn't leave my fish. My fish is having issues and they're more worried about being petty. If you have any concerns or problems go see Evelyn. She's the sweetest and kindest manager and she goes above and beyond to help.*Update* couple of hours later my fish is dead... my kid is so upset. Super customer service! NOT

I pay a lot for grooming and when I get my dog back she’s only had a bath not been brushed out and not even dry yet. Yes they had me pick up my dog while her fur was still damp. I take her to a different location in Mesa and it’s a completely different story. When I pick my dog up she’s got visibly less hair than she did before because they actually did the de shedding treatment.

Had to buy prescription dog food but unfortunately they only carry Hill's (which my dogs hate) and Royal Canin (which I'm hoping they'll like) brands, not Purina which i can't find locally.

Had photos with Santa, the line was unorganized and chaotic, no one knew where to check in, and they just started screaming out names. The aisle they used was so small I had to push my way through multiple other dogs waiting in the cramped aisle. Nose to nose contact with multiple on the way through the aisle while there’s a deadly dog virus happening is not safe. Other locations have the photo in petshotel, where it’s one at a time, by appointment not clustered next to the front door. They did not show the photo to me for approval, before sending it. The girl cut out my eldest dog from the photo, I wanted one last Santa memory photo with her and her siblings before she is euthanized and they messed it up. I will never set foot in this PetSmart ever again.

Do not come to this petsmart it always is so dirty, poop everywhere pee everywhere it smells so bad. Never have crickets either they are dead or they are "out" (there is a whole bunch in there still).The prepackaged ones are all dead, went in for dubia roaches saw a container from late november. The staff are rude and complain when you ask for help.

This store has got the most poopoo vibes. The place is disgusting and I’m pretty sure there’s mold in the pet salon. The salon manager Amanda was unbearably rude and it was hard to watch her interactions with her coworkers. She the was personification of an anal gland in need of expression.

Horrible grooming and management service! Received a call one hour and 45 minutes after we dropped off our dog to let us know the groomer had a family emergency. We called the manager after picking up our dog to let him know it was very unprofessional to leave a job unfinished and could have assigned a different groomer. He was extremely rude telling us he was the one who approved the leave for the employee and that they needed to go to. We were not arguing the fact they had to leave. Emergencies happen but if you had other staff members standing there they could have finished. The manager argued well one of them is not even a groomer. My husband was still speaking when the rude manager cut him off and played background music. Seriously!? You are a manager! Act like one and be professional to the customers!

Took our dog Stella for first time grooming. She came back almost like a different dog. Looked so clean and tidy. Did an excellent job. Would recommend them every time. Changed review because this time my poor dog came out practically bald. Looks like they used her to train someone cos there are little tuffs here and there aswell. Makes me mad because are they not meant to ask if ok to use to train others!!!. Ok will grow back but, she's only a small thin dog so in mornings she gets real cold on her walks. Be going to different petsmart next time.

My poor baby Luna she so sad ... took her to Pet Smart on Signal Butte in Mesa, Az... to have a trim and they shaved her bold... left specific instructions for a meduim fluffy hair cut and ask them not to touch the hair on her head .... I will never take my baby there again... I've never want to scream and cry so much... If I could leave a negative stars I would leave a - ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ .

A lot of sale items, but the fish tanks were disgusting and fish looked unhealthy. They posted on them that the fish were not for sale, but we watched multiple sales of fish out of those tanks. Very disappointing.

Two rude staff. never going back. I found myself a little short of funds yesterday and decided to take back an unopened jar of cbd chews. I arrived at the store at what I thought was 9am according to the time in the my car but the doors weren't open. Knowing that you can just open them if you have business with the groomer or vet prior to store hours I went ahead and went inside so I wouldn't have to stand in the heat. There was a grown man employee who threw a tantrum. I showed him the jar of chews and said "I brought this in with me." He said, "Yeah I just saw you force the door open and come in" (he sounded like he was not only angry but also implying I said something obvious which is fair I guess but rude) I said, "it's 9 isn't it?" him-"we have two minutes but I guess we're open now!"(big gestures with hands and yelling). Me- "i"ll just stand over here then, unless you want me to go back outside for two minutes." him- "no, go do what you want! I guess we're open now!" so then when I went to return the thing, the lady was equally rude but more quiet about it. She didn't ask if it was unopened and just assumed. I asked if I could get cash instead of putting it on the card and she said no, then said "you opened it right?" just assuming it was opened. I bet the policy is you can get cash for unopened things but because I didn't want to stand in the heat until they got around to opening the doors she decided to ignore that policy because, why ask otherwise? I said you can check, those things have a seal on the inside and she said, "no that's fine," and told me I needed to get refunded to the card I used. I fully plan on never going to that store again and I recommend you don't either, at least when the skinny man toddler and the (so generic I can't even think of what she looks like) middle age lady are working.

The curbside pick up at the signal Butte location in East Mesa is a joke. This is the second time that they don’t answer the phone or respond to the app and I’ve had to go into the store to obtain my items.

Needed a crate for my two puppies in a hurry and my card wasn't working online so I called the store and Mark went and got one for me and put it up at the register for me so I didn't have to shop with two new puppies. Thanks Mark you're a life saver.

No bird toys,no staff and valley of the pet rescue is selling dogs instead of trying to find homesAdoption fee was 450.00 for dog that has been returned twiceAll that included was shots if the dog needs them,mico chip and getting the dog fixed didn't even asked if you wanted it done at there vet to bad dog almost had a forever home I thought that was the reason for the adaptation event not to make a profit?

Blows. Brought my 10 lb dog in for a nail trim. Wouldn't consider without documented proof of vaccinations. He didn't get to be 14 yrs old by being neglected, doesn't bark, whimper or struggle during a trim. Not one place I've ever taken him needed this. Never going back.
