Adopted our sweet boy here! It's definitely one of the biggest Petsmarts I've been to. As usual, everything was super clean and organized. We were there until closing, but the cashier was super sweet, didn't rush us, and gave us some super cool insider info on the cat toys we'd chosen. We'll be back (:

Always a good experience at this location. Angel went above and beyond trying to help me find the right thing and save me a little cash. She also gave me the good scoop on the dog/puppy training they have available. All the staff at this location love animals and it shows. I'm so glad this is close to my home. This store has a great variety of everything at fairly reasonable prices.

We purched food for our dogs and a tag for our puppy. Prices seemed a little high, I tried to price match with Chewy. They no longer do that... sad. But they still had what we needed.

Visited recently and was unfortunately very disappointed by the live tropical fish section. Several dead fish, black beard algae, dirty aquariums. Nice selection, otherwise. I would not be able to buy fish here (I never want black beard algae again!).

Set an appointment to bring my dog in for a defermination like I have for the last six years. Showed up for the appointment, and they told me they had too many dogs and didn't feel comfortable doing a shephard at that time. Told me to "try again on maybe a Monday evening." It's over and I will go somewhere else.

I have had nothing but fantastic experiences at this location! The staff is incredibly friendly and always ready to assist. The store is spotlessly clean, which makes shopping a pleasure. And I can't say enough about the amazing puppy training we're receiving from Trainer, Angel. She's patient, knowledgeable, and truly dedicated to helping our puppy learn and grow. We're so grateful for this outstanding service!

Yea, cant say anything good about the front desk to the finished product of their bath and brush service. Trust me, you don't want to bring your bigger dogs in here. From waiting out in the lobby to watching a untrained person handling your pup, to their terrible drying areas in the back…not clean, not safe and just do not recommend..

Just wanted to let the public and the McKellips store know you are doing a great job. Jamie, the manager was knowledgeable, professional, and courteous. I was looking for lights for my Sulcata tortoise. Didn't know exactly what I what I was doing !! The staff and Jamie helped me thru the process. I'm grateful and Spikey (the tortoise), is also a happy camper. Thanks-

I am beyond impressed with both Gabe and Joan in the grooming department. They went far above and beyond my expectations and care for a skiddish 14yo senior dog. Their customer service was also top-notch! 10/10 would recommend!!!

We have been faithful customers for a long time of the Mesa/McKellips store (grooming, extensive purchases, training, etc) but today, it was the very last time we ever go to your store. We had a grooming appointment for our Luka with Joan and when my husband brought him, Joan (the attendant) demanded to see his rabies vax proof. Naturally, none of us carries that document with us at all times, and I could have easily texted it or emailed to them but she refused, she wanted to see it (I guess it did not matter that Luka was wearing his Maricopa county rabies tag on him). Her demeanor was so nasty and rude that it left us dumbfounded. We had been going to her for grooming because Jared left the store (he was the absolute best), but clearly, your store will be losing more valuable customers with employees with such a bad attitude. I have no problems with the rest of the staff, everyone was always so kind and so welcoming, but we will never return because of today's very unpleasant event with Joan. She does not represent your brand nor your customer experience.

Came in for a beautiful yellow canary today at your Mesa location off McKellips Road and I have to say Yolanda and Sherrie went above and beyond! This is my go to PetSmart where me, my animals and occasionally my wife if she is off go on a daily basis to get our animals used to people as most their lives they have been kinda sheltered due to our schedules. They are treated like kings there and have become friendly with staff (especially if they want treats) and other animals.

So we drove way out of the way to go to a special reptile pet store and then when we came back home we decided to see what PetSmart might have to take care of snakes. These guys had almost everything the "specialty " store had! We should have just saved an hour and went to PetSmart! The only thing they don't have is live snakes for sale. But almost everything else they had. Thanks PetSmart for doing a great job!

I have a 15 yr old pomeranian with medically controlled CHF. Petsmart scheduled her for an Express service so she didn't stress out in a kennel and got in & out as quickly & stress free as possible. Throughout the years I have taken 5 different poms to Petsmart for grooming and have never had a single bad cut or episode there with any of them. Very unusual for a "chain" pet grooming salon, but I'll take it!

Awesome staff, let me hold Sheriff Woody the cat I wish I could adopt him they take very good care of him. They don't have any reptiles besides a gecko that's the only bad thing.

Great experience. I bought a parakeet which was so exciting! The employee that helped me was so knowledgeable and helpful. She answered all my questions and concerns. I will definitely be purchasing all my budgie foods and treats at this store.

They must not be fully staffed. Spent 20+ minutes in the drive through with only two cars in front of me. Then they messed up my order. Too tired to go back but for the record, Kneaders, turkey tastes nothing like pastrami. The Irish stew was good, though.

I’ve always had good, or at least decent results with the grooming team here until today. I arrived a few minutes late for my 8 am appointment (doors weren’t even open yet) and they informed me that because I was late (after sitting outside), they had given the appointments away for both of my dogs. All they could say was “sorry, but with the holidays coming and all…”. Which is precisely why we make appointments. I might understand losing one appointment if I had been egregiously late, not 13 minutes (that’s IF they had ever warned us of their policy of giving away appointments), but to give away both appointments? That’s completely inexcusable. Was it because I was late, or did you just overbook again? And if your grooming services and your vet services are open, for heaven’s sake, open the front doors! The few minutes difference of me sitting outside waiting to get in might’ve made the difference (but perhaps that was by design, to weed out appointments for their overbooking). However, even on a good day there, It feels like an assembly line cluster F operation. So in summary PetSmart - that’s a regular grooming customer with four dogs that you just lost the business of. Anyone who gets dog grooming can do the math on what that’s going to cost them in lost grooming fees, plus supplies, which I will no longer purchase at PetSmart. Nice work PetSmart grooming team.
